Blackpink's Rosé Drops New "Messy" Single for "F1" Movie Soundtrack
Yara Sameh Blackpink member Rosé has unveiled her new single, "Messy", for the F1 film soundtrack. "Messy" is an original ballad penned for the upcoming F1 film starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris among others. The "F1" soundtrack also features Ed Sheeran, Burna Boy, Tate McRae, RAYE, Dom Dolla, Madison Beer, Sexyy Redd and more. The album, simply titled "F1 The Album" is scheduled for release on June 27. The song marks the second track to be released from its star-studded soundtrack, following Don Toliver's and Doja Cat's "Lose My Mind". "Messy" comes with an accompanying music video that sees the K-pop singer in various locations, including a bar where portions of the film was shot including a bar, a theater, and cityscapes. The footage also includes exclusive, never-before-seen footage from the 'F1' movie, starring Brad Pitt and Kerry Condon, interwoven with Rosè's scenes, creating a visual link between the song and the movie. Directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Pitt, and Lewis Hamilton. Pitt stars as former F1 driver Sonny Hayes, who returns to the sport to partner rookie team mate Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris), at the fictional APXGP team. Blackpink's Jennie Releases Music Video for "Like Jennie"
Yara Sameh Blackpink member Jennie has debut solo album "Ruby" following a months-long rollout. Shortly after the record's release, she also dropped a music video for the single "Like Jennie". The song was co-produced by Diplo, and co-written by Jennie and Zico, who she previously worked with in 2024 on "Spot!". The "Like Jennie" music video features the K-pop star as an astronaut, dressed in ruby red gear. Aside from "Like Jennie", "Ruby" also includes the singles "Mantra", "Love Hangover" featuring Dominic Fike, "Zen" as well as "ExtraL" featuring Doechii. Other collaborators on "Ruby" include Dua Lipa on "Handlebars", FKJ on "Intro: Jane" and Childish Gambino and Kali Uchis on "Damn Right". "Ruby" also marks Jennie's first body of work under her own label, Odd Atelier, under a partnership deal with Columbia Records. The former was established in late 2023, shortly after YG Entertainment announced that she and her Blackpink bandmates would not be renewing their solo contracts with the company. Jennie has become the third Blackpink member to release their debut studio album. Rosé released "rosie" in December, Lisa dropped "Alter Ego" last month. Meanwhile, Jisoo dropped the mini-album "Amortage" in early-February. The quartet are scheduled to embark on a group world tour later this year.

Blackpink's Jennie Teases New Single "Extral" Ft. Doechii
Yara Sameh Blackpink member Jennie has dropped a snippet of her upcoming collaboration single "Extral" featuring Grammy-winning rapper Doechii. The K-pop idol shared Friday a 10-second snippet of the new song to her social media channels, announcing "Extral" will be released as a pre-release track on February 21 at 12am ET/2pm KST. The song will mark the fourth single from her forthcoming debut solo album "Ruby", after "Mantra", "Zen", and "Love Hangover" featuring Dominic Fike. Due out in full on March 7, "Ruby" will mark Jennie's first full-length record as a soloist with a total of 15 new tracks. In her album announcement, Jennie named several guest artists to appear on the new album, such as Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, FKJ, Kali Uchis and more. Jennie will also be hosting four shows, which she calls "The Ruby Experience" and where she will be performing tracks off the record live for the first time, in celebration of the record's release. "The Ruby Experiencec will kick off with two shows at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on March 6 and 7, Radio City Music Hall in New York on March 10 and the Inspire Arena in Seoul on March 15.

Yara Sameh Blackpink member Jennie has released the music video for her new song 'Zen,' days after announcing her debut solo album, "Ruby". The K-pop idol surprised fans with the visually stunning video, directed by Cho Gi-Seok. The three-and-a-half-minute clip follows Jennie as she journeys through cosmic landscapes, showcasing a range of looks that are both elegant and futuristic. 'Nobody gon' move my soul, gon' move my aura, my matter/ Nobody gon' move my life, gon' touch my goal, my matter/ Nobody gon', all this power make them scattеr/ No, nobody gon' touch my soul, gon' match my flow, like damn,' Jennie sings on the track. On January 22, Jennie announced that her first solo album, "Ruby", will be released on March 7. The project will contain 15 songs including her October 2024 single 'Mantra". "Ruby" features an impressive roster of collaborators, including Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, Doechii, Dominic Fike, FKJ, and Kali Uchis. In a recent Billboard interview, Jennie reflected on the deeply personal journey of creating "Ruby," which began in early 2024. 'It's not nice to be someone who's always like, 'I'm sorry, I can't say anything,' ' she said. 'I want to say I'm almost there.' Acknowledging the challenges she faced along the way, she added, 'I'm just going to say, 'I don't do well with time.'' But 'Zen' wasn't Jennie's only surprise. The 29-year-old K-pop powerhouse member also announced that she'll be embarking on a three-city tour to celebrate the release of "Ruby". The Ruby Experience will visit Los Angeles (March 6), New York City (March 10), and Seoul (March 15). 'Intense and intimate as I like it,' Jennie captioned the announcement on Instagram.
