Blackpink's Jennie Teases New Single "Extral" Ft. Doechii

Blackpink member Jennie has dropped a snippet of her upcoming collaboration single "Extral" featuring Grammy-winning rapper Doechii.
The K-pop idol shared Friday a 10-second snippet of the new song to her social media channels, announcing "Extral" will be released as a pre-release track on February 21 at 12am ET/2pm KST.
The song will mark the fourth single from her forthcoming debut solo album "Ruby", after "Mantra", "Zen", and "Love Hangover" featuring Dominic Fike.
Due out in full on March 7, "Ruby" will mark Jennie's first full-length record as a soloist with a total of 15 new tracks.
In her album announcement, Jennie named several guest artists to appear on the new album, such as Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, FKJ, Kali Uchis and more.
Jennie will also be hosting four shows, which she calls "The Ruby Experience" and where she will be performing tracks off the record live for the first time, in celebration of the record's release.
"The Ruby Experiencec will kick off with two shows at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on March 6 and 7, Radio City Music Hall in New York on March 10 and the Inspire Arena in Seoul on March 15.

Yara Sameh Puerto Rican singer-songwriter and actor Ricky Martin will make MTV VMAs history by becoming the first ever artist to receive the annual show's Latin Icon award. Twenty-six years after he became the first male Latin artist to win best pop video and bag the most awards of the night at the show, Martin will once again take the stage to perform and accept his award. The multi-Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning artist performed 'Livin' la Vida Loca' for the VMAs the same year it was nominated for video of the year at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards, becoming the first Latin artist in history to receive a nomination in this category. It won a total of five awards at the ceremony. Martin has recorded music that spans Latin pop, dance, reggaeton, salsa, and other genres. Born in San Juan, Martin began appearing in television commercials at age nine and began his musical career as a member of Puerto Rican boy band Menudo. The 2025 ceremony is set to air live on CBS September 7. Lady Gaga is the frontrunner for awards, as the singer racked up a leading 12 nods in nominations. Gaga's dozen nominations are followed by 11 for Bruno Mars, 10 for Kendrick Lamar, eight apiece for Sabrina Carpenter and Rose, and seven each for Ariana Grande and the Weeknd. The show will air live in all time zones on Sept. 7, starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 PT. Yara Sameh Ricky Martin is among the first set of performers announced for the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, the network revealed on Monday. Martin will be joined by Alex Warren, Busta Rhymes, J Balvin ft. DJ Snake, Sabrina Carpenter and sombr at the September 7 awards show, hosted by LL Cool J. Additionally, special Moonperson trophies will be awarded to Rhymes and Martin. Grammy Award-winning artist Martin will be honored with the first-ever Latin Icon Award, while hip hop veteran Rhymes will take home the inaugural MTV VMA Rock the Bells Visionary Award. Lady Gaga leads the pack of nominees with a dozen nods this year. She already has 18 VMAs to her credit. This year, Mother Monster competes in categories including Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, and Best Album.
