Blackpink's Jennie Releases Music Video for "Handlebars" Ft. Dua Lipa
Blackpink member has released a music video for the solo track 'Handlebars,' featuring Dua Lipa. The visual for the mid-tempo tune was directed by BRTHR (Charli XCX, the Weeknd) and arrived on Monday. The clip opens with the K-pop superstar using a two-wheeled metaphor to lament her proclivity for falling too far, too fast. Jennie spends most of the video laying on her back on an electrified, heart-shaped spider's web when she's not taking selfie videos while rolling around on a spinning, round bed. A glowing Dua transports in from another dimension a minute in and for the rest of the visual the pair croon back-to-back and lounge side-by-side in the giant spider web in a futuristic landscape filled with piles oHandlebarsHandlebarsf glitchy monitors and colorful flashing lights. 'Handlebars' appears on Jennie's just-released 15-track debut solo LP, "Ruby", which also features collaborations with Childish Gambino, Dominic Fike, Doechii, FKJ, and Kali Uchis.

Blackpink's Jennie Releases Music Video for "Like Jennie"
Yara Sameh Blackpink member Jennie has debut solo album "Ruby" following a months-long rollout. Shortly after the record's release, she also dropped a music video for the single "Like Jennie". The song was co-produced by Diplo, and co-written by Jennie and Zico, who she previously worked with in 2024 on "Spot!". The "Like Jennie" music video features the K-pop star as an astronaut, dressed in ruby red gear. Aside from "Like Jennie", "Ruby" also includes the singles "Mantra", "Love Hangover" featuring Dominic Fike, "Zen" as well as "ExtraL" featuring Doechii. Other collaborators on "Ruby" include Dua Lipa on "Handlebars", FKJ on "Intro: Jane" and Childish Gambino and Kali Uchis on "Damn Right". "Ruby" also marks Jennie's first body of work under her own label, Odd Atelier, under a partnership deal with Columbia Records. The former was established in late 2023, shortly after YG Entertainment announced that she and her Blackpink bandmates would not be renewing their solo contracts with the company. Jennie has become the third Blackpink member to release their debut studio album. Rosé released "rosie" in December, Lisa dropped "Alter Ego" last month. Meanwhile, Jisoo dropped the mini-album "Amortage" in early-February. The quartet are scheduled to embark on a group world tour later this year.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Jennie reflected on the personal process of creating Ruby. 'I intend to complete myself as Jennie Ruby-Jane, for that to be a whole person, in a way,' she shared. 'You'll definitely know what I mean once the album drops, but because I'm playing with a lot of different genres and elements — I'm rapping here, I'm singing here, I'm harmonizing here, I'm talking here … The overall sound was me making sure I like every single [song].' Blackpink's Jennie Teases New Single "Extral" Ft. Doechii
Yara Sameh Blackpink member Jennie has dropped a snippet of her upcoming collaboration single "Extral" featuring Grammy-winning rapper Doechii. The K-pop idol shared Friday a 10-second snippet of the new song to her social media channels, announcing "Extral" will be released as a pre-release track on February 21 at 12am ET/2pm KST. The song will mark the fourth single from her forthcoming debut solo album "Ruby", after "Mantra", "Zen", and "Love Hangover" featuring Dominic Fike. Due out in full on March 7, "Ruby" will mark Jennie's first full-length record as a soloist with a total of 15 new tracks. In her album announcement, Jennie named several guest artists to appear on the new album, such as Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, FKJ, Kali Uchis and more. Jennie will also be hosting four shows, which she calls "The Ruby Experience" and where she will be performing tracks off the record live for the first time, in celebration of the record's release. "The Ruby Experiencec will kick off with two shows at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on March 6 and 7, Radio City Music Hall in New York on March 10 and the Inspire Arena in Seoul on March 15.
