I was a Yeti skeptic, but I've been using my Yeti Roadie cooler for 2 months now — here's why you'll have to pry it from my cold, dead hands
Summer 2024 belonged to Brat. Summer 2025 belongs to Yeti. Yeti is the brand on everyone's lips this season. Whether you're obsessed with the Yeti Tundra, Yeti Roadie, Yeti backpack, Yeti tumbler, Yeti water bottle, or anything in between, you're probably well into the Yeti hype right now. If you ask me, Yeti makes the best coolers in the world. The Yeti lineup ranges from $1,000+ gargantuan coolers to eeny-weeny mini coolers. Me? I've got the mid-range Yeti Roadie 32 wheeled cooler, and I'm in love. The Yeti Roadie is the coolest cooler in all the land, in terms of both looks and functionality. While the YETI Wave cooler is available in a variety of colors, the Big Wave Blue version is currently on sale for nearly $80 off. What do you look for when you're shopping for coolers? Insulation? Style? Portability? Ideally all three. The best cooler is one that combines chill time, aesthetics, and ease of use. Thankfully, the Yeti Roadie checks all of those boxes. A cooler's ability to retain cold its the primary feature, right? But a lot of people overlook transportability. If it's too much of a pain to get your cooler to its intended location, you're probably not going to be using the cooler as much as you might like. Thankfully, the Yeti Roadie has wheels for all my moving needs. Oh, but these wheels do not simply exist. They exist, and they perform. The Yeti Roadie's wheels are butter-smooth, maneuverable, and hardy. Just look at that wheel. Yeti's cooler wheels are constructed from one piece of durable rubber. This basically means that the tire physically cannot puncture and deflate. Yeti calls it "NeverFlat™ wheels", which, while a little melodramatic, sums it up perfectly. I live in Bath, U.K., which is a lovely historical, hilly city. In this context, historical and hilly kind of just means a pain to get around. If the streets aren't cobbled, they're steep. If the streets aren't full of twisty alleyways and staircases, they're full of tourists. This means getting around with a massive cooler box should be frustrating, right? Wrong, actually. Thanks to the lovely NeverFlat tires, I was able to drag the Roadie cooler up steep stone stairs, across cobbled paths, and over uneven grass to my heart's desire. When I made my friends pull the cooler, they all remarked on how easy it was to maneuver. Major kudos points to the Yeti, here. As I've said before, a cooler box's primary function is to keep cool things, well, cool. (How many times can I say cool in 5 seconds challenge.) The Yeti Roadie eats staying cool for breakfast. While I have yet to take the Yeti on a multi-day adventure (that's happening in August, mark it in your calendars, please), it's performed excellently on every day trip thus far. As I've already mentioned, I awarded the Yeti Roadie a near-unbeatable 4.5-star rating in my review. During the testing period, it was able to keep cans refrigerator-cold for 72 hours. I was opening the cooler and removing cans every 4 hours (to reflect real-world usage), and the Roadie still outperformed all the competition. As you can see from the photographs above, the Yeti Roadie was still ice cold at 72 hours in. I have no doubts about taking it on 3+ day camping trips. Imagine cracking open a cold beverage on day four of a ruthless hiking trail? I can't quite envisage anything better. The Yeti Roadie cooler has kind of been deified in my friendship group. Every time we plan a park, beach, or camping trip, there's a chorus of, "Is the Yeti coming?". The people love it. They crave the Yeti. I think that's because of how cool Yeti's gear is. Sure, it's all functional, but it's also a fashion statement. Gorpcore has been a style for a couple of years now, and I don't think it's going away any time soon. Just look at the Keen Hyperport H2 sandals — they're so ugly, but so stylish at the same time. If something is ruggedly utilitarian but also trendy, it'll stand the test of time. It also helps that Yeti engineers all of its products to be "practically indestructible." The Roadie cooler also doubles up as a miniature wagon, which only adds to its practicality. It comes on every trip, and will do until the end of time. Just look at how useful that is. Not only does the Yeti Roadie carry a whole day's worth of snacks and drinks, it also carries a bean bag and a speaker. Yes, I had to be careful while pulling my cargo, but I had a great time. I don't know how Yeti gear grew to become so cool. The bold, bright colors certainly have something to do with it, but I also think that when something is a genuinely fantastic product, trendiness comes with it.

Whether you're a student or not, there are a ton of awesome savings you can take advantage of right now. For starters, you can get the MacBook Air 13' (M2/256GB) for $699 at Best Buy. While it's no longer the latest model, this is a stellar price for a very capable laptop that will last you years. Plus, the LG 48-inch C4 4K OLED TV is on sale for $899 at Best Buy ($200 off.) This is the same price Best Buy is charging for the 42-inch model right now, so it's almost like you're getting a size upgrade for free. My favorite Best Buy deals are listed below, so keep scrolling to see them all. For more savings, see our Best Buy coupon codes and check out the Yeti deals I'd buy from $15 at Amazon. Switch games: deals from $19 @ Best BuyFrom Luigi's Mansion 3 to EA FC24, Best Buy is taking from $10 to $20 off a small selection of games. (Most games are $20 off). Keep in mind, the cheap TVs tend to be smaller, 1080p models (which are more suitable for a children's room or guest room). However, the sale also includes larger sets. These are among the cheapest TVs we've seen from Best Buy. By comparison, Amazon is offering a similar sale with prices from $ check: from $69 @ Amazon | from $74 @ Walmart Laptop sale: up to $400 off @ Best BuyRight now Best Buy is taking up to $400 off select Windows laptops. The sale includes laptops from HP, Samsung, Lenovo and more. Who says TVs have to cost a fortune? This 50-inch Insignia TV offers impressive image quality no matter what you're watching. Thanks to its built-in Fire TV features, you can also stream all your favorite shows and movies and control them with your voice thanks to full Alexa support. Hisense is setting a new bar for value with its U6QF Mini-LED TV, which drops Google TV in favor of Fire TV. You still get an awesome suite of features built on a 144Hz refresh rate with HDR10+ and Dolby Atmos support. As one of the cheapest options to get for gaming, the U6QF is a powerful display for PC gamers leveraging tons of brightness. The LG C4 OLED is powered by LG's A9 processor and features a 120Hz panel, Dolby Vision/HDR10/HLG support, built-in Amazon Alexa, four HDMI 2.1 ports and Apple AirPlay 2 support. It's also one of the few OLED TVs that can natively accept a 144Hz input from a PC. In our LG C4 OLED TV review, we said the content looked colorful and dazzlingly bright on the C4 series. Just note the newer LG C5 OLED is now available. Part of LG's 2025 TV lineup, the LG C5 OLED is here as the value pick of the year. Offering a slew of features, like a range of HDR certifications and gaming specs for the PS5 Pro crowd, the C5 proves a major improvement over its predecessor. We called it "nearly flawless" and gave it a 5-star rating in our LG C5 OLED TV review. Now $300 off, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3X makes for a fantastic personal laptop, especially at this price. It's Snapdragon X processor ensures, well, snappy performance and long battery life, and its 16GB of RAM and 256GB is enough everyday tasks. Throw in its 14-inch WUXGA (1920 x 1200) display with a 60Hz refresh rate, and it also makes for decent binge-watching. The MacBook Air M2 is one of our most recommended laptops because it's remarkably light and thin yet sports a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display, a speedy Apple M2 CPU w/ 8-core GPU, 16GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and a great 1080p FaceTime camera. In our MacBook Air M2 review we lauded this Editor's Choice laptop for its versatility and battery life, so don't miss your chance to get one at a great discount. Just note that the newer MacBook Air M4 is out now. This is the one of the best Copilot+ PC deals available! This 14-inch thin and light laptop features a Snapdragon X Elite for impressive performance and power efficiency, complemented by 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Our Microsoft Surface Pro Copilot Plus review called this "the best Surface in years." It's powered by a speedy X Elite processor and also packs a gorgeous OLED display, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. It's super thin and light and has great battery life — our unit lasted over 12 hours in our battery life tests. Note: this deal is for the device only and doesn't include a keyboard or stylus. Having a precise, sharp gaming mouse is key to success — especially if you play competitive shooters. This mouse features a wired connection for lower latency, up to 25,600 max DPI sensitivity and 11 customizable buttons with up to 5 different profiles to switch between. MLB The Show is back with a new roster, game modes and more. Our MLB The Show 25 review mentioned that while there are some upgrades in tow, there probably isn't enough new content here to entice players who already have The Show 23 or 24. But if you haven't played in a couple of years, this version of the big-hitting baseball franchise is tons of fun. The Lenovo Legion Go is on the higher end of PC gaming handheld tech, which makes its lower price even more stunning. On top, you've got that gorgeous 8.8-inch display with 144Hz refresh rate, and those detachable controllers (plus built-in kickstand) for quick multiplayer action. Whereas inside, you'll find that powerful AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. Wireless earbuds have come a long way, and now, you can get a solid-sounding pair of buds for under $25. While not all budget earbuds are up to par, the JLab Go Air Pop True Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds are an ace pick. They got a 4-star rating in our Jlab Go Air Pop review for their satisfying sound, 7-hour battery life and IPX4 water resistance rating. Anker makes some of the best budget headphones we've tested, and the Soundcore Q20i follow in that tradition. They feature 2 internal and 2 external mics that work in tandem to detect external noise and effectively reduce up to 90% of it, such as planes and car engines. These active noise canceling headphones also offer up to 40 hours of battery life. The AirPods 4 are a very solid earbud option if you're an iPhone user who doesn't want to spend a lot on the AirPods Pro 2. We loved these in our AirPods 4 review, rating them 4 stars. We particularly like how they interconnect with all your Apple devices, including Macs, iPads and iPhones like magic. They sound good too — although if you're looking for active noise canceling, you'll want the more expensive pair. Get ready for the Super Bowl with one of the best air fryers we've tested. In our Ninja Foodi DualZone Air Fryer review, we loved that we could cook two things at different temperatures or open it up to cook a lot of one food — it's great for when you have a lot of guests. The Shark FlexBreeze Pro Mist has a refillable misting tank onboard to make you instantly cool. It can act as both corded or cordless, with a up to 24 hour running time (depending on what speed setting you use). Its portable design means you can take advantage of the mist spray both indoor or out. This KitchenAid 5.5 Quart stand mixer has a massive reduction of $130, and is probably the lowest price we've seen so far. With its 3-point locking bowl lift feature, it's super sturdy to tackle heavier quantities, and makes it easier to add ingredients. It comes with 11 speeds including a ½ speed for high to low control. With an impressive saving, this deal won't last long — so hurry!

Stanley's iconic Quencher cup has just been slashed by a rare 40% discount
If you've been dying to get your hands on one of Stanley's Quencher cups, now is the perfect time as plenty of colours have just gotten a rare 40% discount to £27 If you'd asked us a few years ago whether we thought a water bottle would become a trend, we would have probably laughed. However the rise in popularity of the Stanley Quencher has proven that staying hydrated has never been so chic. The Quencher has even gone as far as becoming a collectors item, with shoppers snapping them up in multiple colours. And now is the perfect time to add to your colourful collection, as Amazon has just slashed the price of its huge 1.2 litre Quencher by 40%. Although they're usually priced at £45, for a limited time Amazon has reduced the price of multiple colours down to just £27, saving you almost £20. There's a whole range of different shades to choose from, including plenty of summery colours like powder blue, peach and magenta. There are also some other colours with a slightly lower discount, priced between £32 and £39.99, so you'll have plenty of choice when it comes to deciding which one you buy. And let's face it, with the summer heat meaning we should all be taking our hydration levels a little more seriously, now really is the ideal time to add a Stanley Quencher to your collection. The 1.2 litre volume means you'll make sure you're getting plenty of liquids throughout the day, and the double walled vacuum insulation means your water stays cold for up to 11 hours, or a two days if you add ice. It's been carefully designed with an easy-to-carry handle, and the bottom has even been shaped to fit neatly into almost any cup holder so you can take it on drives with you. To make it easier to drink out of on the go, the Stanley Quencher also has a three position lid, which can be fully closed, used with a straw, or remove the straw and twist to reveal an opening to sip directly from. It's even dishwasher safe, so it's easy enough to clean out after use. Whilst Stanley might have become the go-to brand for these styles of water bottles, they're not the only ones doing them. Yeti has also launched its own £45 Straw Mug, which has a similar design to the Quencher and comes in a huge choice of colours. Regatta has also dropped its Thermulate Insulated 1.2L Mug, which comes in fewer colour options but is currently on sale for £15 down from £30, making it a budget-friendly alternative. If you prefer a more traditional style of water bottle, the Blush Pink Flip Bottle from Chilly's is £42 and has a sport flip lid that makes spillages almost impossible.

A $900 Electric Cooler Is a No-Ice Upgrade to Tailgates and BBQs
For all their boasting about weeklong ice retention and bear-resistant construction, premium roto-molded coolers from Yeti, Pelican and Rtic still require you to load in pounds of cubes. But Anker Innovations Technology Co., best known as a battery maker, has an ice-free solution: a portable mini-fridge on wheels. The $900 Solix EverFrost 2 uses removable, rechargeable batteries to power a compressor and fan, an essential for premium electric coolers, bringing the inside temperature to between 68F and -4F—likely colder than your kitchen freezer. To keep sodas crisp and sandwiches safe, dial in a refrigerator-like 40F via the intuitive app or on-unit dashboard, or drop the digits down to ensure your Otter Pops and Chipwiches remain solid as can be.

These Are the 9 Best Coolers With Wheels—For Beach Days, Picnics, Camping, and More
Whether you're packing for a weekend camping trip, a backyard barbecue, or a long day at the beach, a cooler with wheels can make your life a lot easier compared to one you have to pick up and lug—especially when it's full of heavy ice, drinks, and food. Over my years of experimenting with coolers with wheels for camping trips, beach days, and parties in my own backyard, I've learned that not all wheeled models deliver on their promises—these do. We tested each cooler on this list for performance, durability, maneuverability, and ice retention on trips across the country. The best models kept contents cold for over 24 hours, rolled smoothly across grass and gravel, and had thoughtful features like dry storage compartments, built-in drains, and sturdy handles. If you're shopping for a cooler with wheels, consider one of these options that balances capacity with portability, has solid insulation, and is easy to clean and store. Credit: Yeti $475 at Amazon View on REI $450 at Backcountry This cooler is a beast—in the best way. During indoor testing, it kept ice mostly intact for 24 hours, even when packed with room-temperature drinks. Once the interior reached temperature, it stayed cold for hours on end, with minimal ice melt. It has a wide-opening lid that props itself up, making it incredibly easy to pack and clean, too. The dry storage basket is a smart touch for keeping things like snacks and hot dog buns out of ice, and the sturdy drain plug makes cleanup simple. At 35 pounds empty, this is a big cooler—best suited for people who have storage space and use it often. But the rugged wheels and telescoping handle make it surprisingly easy to move, even when full. The wheels don't swivel, so keep that in mind when maneuvering into tight spots, like when it's pushed against a wall. Still, for anyone who camps regularly, tailgates, or entertains outdoors, this cooler is worth the splurge. It's sturdy enough to last for years—and might be the last cooler you ever need to buy. We used it at kids' sporting tournaments and races in the Alabama heat, loading it with up to six bags of ice and enough drinks to hydrate entire teams—and it never ran out of cold storage. The rugged design features large wheels that easily tackled rough, wooded terrain and even steps, while integrated cup holders, a phone slot, and side-mounted bottle openers made it surprisingly versatile. We also appreciated the dry storage compartment and net basket on the exterior. While it's not quite as well-insulated as other top-performing hard coolers, it still retained plenty of ice over 24 hours and kept everything cold through long days in the sun. The lid doesn't latch, which made spills a concern when tipped, and the plastic wheels could use an upgrade. But overall, this cooler is a powerhouse for game days, group camping, and off-the-grid gatherings. The Details: 36 x 24.75 x 20.25 inches | 70 quarts | 34.7 pounds | Plastic Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Academy Sports + Outdoors I was drawn to this cooler for the cool retro-inspired color scheme in turquoise and pink—so appealing for use at a party. Plus, there's tons of functionality, with a built-in bottle opener, removable trays, and a generous interior capacity. During testing, it kept drinks cold for an impressive 48 hours, with plenty of ice remaining even after the first full day. The latches are smooth and secure, and the divider system makes it easy to separate items (like sandwiches or snacks) from the ice below. It also features a drainage spout for easy cleanup and has flat sides and a flat lid for stacking in storage. That said, this cooler is very heavy—enough to make it impractical for more mobile uses. In fact, I had to scrap plans to take it to the beach for my kids' school beach day after realizing I couldn't maneuver it alone—even before loading it up fully. The wheels roll smoothly, but don't swivel, and they don't do much to offset the cooler's weight when fully loaded. Still, if you want a cooler that looks great and keeps things cold all weekend long—without ever leaving your yard—this checks all the boxes. We tested it during a summer outing in Rancho Bernardo, California, and were impressed by how smoothly it rolled over grass and curbs—even when fully loaded with ice and 15-plus cans. The oversized wheels and sturdy telescoping handle made maneuvering easy, and the spacious main compartment kept everything cold for hours. We especially appreciated the separate lower 'Dry Zone' drawer that kept lunch meat safely chilled and dry, even as the top compartment gradually lost ice. It's rugged, easy to clean, and clearly built to last. It kept drinks and deli snacks cold for over 48 hours, even as the ice slowly melted, and held up beautifully through multiple outings and terrain types, from campfire nights to grass and gravel paths. We especially loved the attached lid net, which kept cheese and meat slices chilled, but dry above the ice, as well as the locking lid that doubles as a bottle opener. Despite its large size and sturdy build, it was surprisingly easy to maneuver thanks to the wide handle and oversized wheels. It's heavy, yes. But it performs on par with high-end coolers at a more accessible price point. The Details: 20.5 x 23 x 20.75 inches | 45 quart | 37 pounds | Plastic Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Amazon $290 at Amazon $290 at Backcountry View on Walmart This sleek, squared-off cooler performed great during testing over a full weekend of activities—an overnight camping trip in near-freezing temps, a sunny picnic, a party, and casual porch use—and it consistently kept everything from canned drinks to cream cheese cold for more than 24 hours. Even after 48 hours, drinks still felt fridge-cold despite the ice being fully melted. We love the clean, modern design and found it incredibly easy to pack into a car thanks to its boxy, space-saving shape. It's heavy-duty and durable (you can sit on it, no problem), and the easy-to-clean surface is a huge upgrade from older textured coolers. We would prefer it if the wheels were bigger, but overall, it's a stylish and highly functional cooler. The Details: 18 x 17 x18 inches | 28 liters | 26 pounds | Polyethylene (PE) Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure This cooler came with us everywhere—from a rainy camping trip in Big Bear to a sunny picnic and hike through a muddy botanic garden—and it consistently outperformed expectations. It held 24 cans and 10 pounds of ice with ease, kept everything ice-cold for well over 24 hours (even in direct sunlight), and rolled smoothly over dirt, rocks, and pavement thanks to its rugged, all-terrain wheels. We were particularly impressed by its smart design: the square interior made packing effortless, and the telescoping handle adjusted to multiple heights and felt stable even when the cooler was fully loaded. Bonus: the lid doubles as a seat, and there's a built-in drink dispenser compartment. It's sturdy, easy to clean, impressively insulated, and surprisingly sleek. The Details: 22 x 21 x 19 inches | 35 quarts | 27.5 pounds | Polyurethane foam Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: Travel + Leisure Credit: dbest $40 $36 at Amazon $55 at QVC View on If you're looking for a compact, budget-friendly cooler for short adventures or park picnics, this soft-sided rolling cooler is a smart pick. We used it to haul around a mix of drinks—from water and soda to kombucha and sports drinks—during several mild-weather outings, and it consistently kept everything cold for a full day. It fits up to two dozen beverages with ice, and we loved how quick it was to pack and clean it. The real standout feature is how collapsible it is: unlike bulky hard-sided coolers, this one folds down for easy storage when not in use, making it perfect for road trips or storage in small apartments. The zippered exterior pockets are great for stashing sunscreen, snacks, and even a book or two. While the insulation isn't built for multi-day cooling and the small wheels are best on smooth surfaces, it's an excellent value for everyday use. Whether packed with meat, dairy, or drinks, the contents remained chilled for over 24 hours, even when left in a warm car. It was easy to roll across gravel, concrete, and carpet, and it held up well as a makeshift seat, too. I also appreciated thoughtful touches like cupholders with drainage and a sturdy drain plug. That said, the lid doesn't stay open on its own, which makes loading and unloading awkward at times. Overall, this cooler is a great pick for campers, road trippers, and tailgaters who want reliable insulation and smooth portability without splurging.
