Youssef En-Nesyri Under the Radar of Al-Qadisiyah FC

Rabat – Youssef En-Nesyri, the Moroccan striker for Turkish Fenerbahçe SK, is under the radar of the Saudi club Al-Qadisiyah after the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. According to international press reports, the club has expressed its willingness to sign the player during the summer transfer, aiming to reinforce the offensive side in preparation for the 2025-26 season. This comes as Gabonese Aubameyang terminated his contract ahead of time and headed back to France as a free agent. The Moroccan starlet played a remarkable season, attracting the attention of various clubs, according to head coach Jose Mourinho in a statement reported by AfricaFoot. Mourinho asserts that the player is worth 'no less than 40 million euros.' The striker is still under contract till June 2029, attracting interest from several teams for this transfer window including Manchester United, West Ham, Tottenham, AC Milan, and a number of Saudi Arabian sides — notably Al-Qadisiyah FC. Youssef En-Nesyri Linked With Move to Aston Villa

Youssef En-Nesyri could be on the move again this summer, with Aston Villa among the clubs reportedly interested in signing the Fenerbahçe striker. The Moroccan international only joined the Turkish side last summer from Sevilla for a club-record fee of €19.5 million. He went on to score 30 goals in all competitions in his first season, including 20 in the Super Lig, six in the Europa League and four in the Turkish Cup. Despite his goal tally, En-Nesyri has faced growing frustration from sections of the Fenerbahçe fanbase, with the 26-year-old even booed in recent matches. According to reports in Turkiye, the forward is not keen to stay in Istanbul and is open to a move away. Fenerbahçe received offers for the striker during the January window but opted to delay any decision until the end of the season. With the summer transfer window now open, the club is expected to revisit those discussions. Aston Villa have been named as a serious contender for his signature. The Premier League side are reportedly preparing a €20 million bid. Villa's sporting director Monchi, previously worked with En-Nesyri at Sevilla and is understood to be keen on a reunion. En-Nesyri played 52 matches for Fenerbahçe this season and added seven assists to his 30 goals. He scored in the final league game of the season against Konyaspor, capping off a campaign that saw him rise to fourth in the club's all-time single-season scoring charts. Only Enner Valencia, Aykut Kocaman and Tanju Çolak have recorded more goals in a campaign for the club. Fenerbahçe finished the season empty-handed, missing out on the league title and domestic cups, and the lack of silverware has added to the uncertainty surrounding En-Nesyri's future. The club are believed to be open to offers and will weigh up any bids against their investment. Tags: Aston VillaFenerbahceSevillaYoussef En-Nesyri

En-Nesyri Under Fire: From Hero to Headache at Fenerbahçe

When Youssef En-Nesyri arrived in Istanbul last summer, Fenerbahçe fans thought they'd landed a lethal target man, a proven goalscorer from Sevilla who was meant to propel them to titles and European glory. For a while, he did just that – before it all went down. The Moroccan forward lit up the Süper Lig in his early months, chalking up 26 goals and 7 assists in 47 appearances this season. From August to February, he was electric – tearing up defenses, bagging braces for fun, and even entering conversations around the world's top scorers. But then came March. And the goals stopped. In Sunday's derby against Beşiktaş, the 27-year-old was hauled off in the 70th minute to the sound of boos and whistles from the home fans. Fenerbahçe lost 1-0 and with it, perhaps, their grip on the title. They now trail Galatasaray by five points, and their patience is now dwindling. Pundits aren't holding back either. Erman Özgür, speaking to TivibuSport , didn't mince his words: 'You threw away another 70 minutes of Fenerbahçe's time, saying you would save En-Nesyri in the eyes of the fans… You save yourself first.' Since netting against Antalyaspor on March 2, En-Nesyri has failed to find the back of the net. Even José Mourinho, who publicly backed the striker, is feeling the heat. 'En-Nesyri scored 26 goals without taking penalties. He went through a challenging period during Ramadan, where he lost some of his form, but he is starting to get back to his best. He has proven that he is regaining his physical condition. He will play a key role in the remaining seven matches of the season, without a doubt,' said the Portuguese boss earlier this month. That faith, though, has yet to bear fruit. Despite the slump, En-Nesyri remains a man in demand. West Ham and Saudi giants Al-Nassr are rumoured to be circling, and with a contract until 2026, Fenerbahçe may well look to cash in this summer. So, can En-Nesyri rediscover his killer flair before the season ends, or has his time in Kadıköy already run its course? Tags: FenerbahceJose MourinhoTurkeyYoussef En-Nesyri

En-Nesyri, Amrabat vs Igamane: When, How, and Score Prediction for Europa League Tie

Fenerbahce will face Rangers at Ulker Stadium in Istanbul and all eyes are on the Moroccan trio as Youssef En-Nesyri and Sofyan Amrabet meet Hamza Igamane in the Europa League last-16 game. Kick off is at 5:45 p.m. Moroccan time and fans can catch the early European action live on BeIN Sports 3, Canal+ Sport, and M+ Liga de Campeones. Youssef En-Nesyri has been on fire lately after scoring a whopping 26 goals in 39 appearances. Meanwhile, Amrabat, the midfield general, will look to dominate the middle of the park and pull the strings of the attacking play, offering a vital link between defense and attack. But the Rangers, under the interim management of Barry Ferguson, are no pushovers. The Scots will pin their hopes on Igamane, the 23-year-old winger with a wealth of pace and physicality, who could wreak havoc against Fenerbahce's defense. The Moroccan youngster is in prolific goal-scoring form in the Europa League, scoring four goals in six appearances. Fenerbahce is second in the Turkish Super Lig with four points adrift from arch-rivals Galatasaray. Mourinho's side barely scraped through the group stage and only just managed to edge past Anderlecht in the play-offs. Mourinho knows a thing or two about winning silverware in every league he goes to after a glittering career in Europe's biggest clubs like FC Porto, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and AS Roma. The Rangers come into the match after a dismal 2-1 loss to Motherwell, which left them 16 points behind rivals Celtic in the Scottish Premiership. Despite their league woes, their Europa League campaign has been more successful, with Ferguson and Moroccan assistant coach Issam Charai guiding them to the knockout rounds after finishing eighth in the group stage. Fenerbahce will be without four key players due to injury and two others suspended, while Rangers are missing Oscar Cortes and Neraysho Kasanwirjo. Despite their injury concerns, both teams are expected to field a strong starting XI, with much of the focus on the Moroccan attacking battle between En-Nesyri and Igamane.
