The track marks the return of composer Pritam and filmmaker Anurag Basu 's creative partnership, known for crafting emotionally resonant music in past projects. Sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh, the song draws from a line by poet Qaisar Ul Jafri — 'Tumhaare sheher ka mausam bada suhana lage' — and reimagines the ghazal in a fresh, accessible form. 'Rather than viewing the ghazal as a relic of the past, we wanted to present it as something vibrant and relevant today,' said music director Pritam. 'This track aims to retain its poetic essence while adapting its structure to a modern sound.' The teaser features a glimpse into the film's ensemble cast, including Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Saswata Chatterjee. Aditya Roy Kapur makes singing debut in Metro In Dino, ‘he sounds amazing' says music director Pritam
Actor Aditya Roy Kapur, who has already garnered a strong fan base with his performances in movies and series such as Aashiqui 2, Ludo, and The Night Manager is now set to surprise his fans with his musical skills in the upcoming movie Dino. (Also read: Aditya Roy Kapur leaves his Mumbai home after woman enters with false claims, police register FIR: Report) At the recent musical launch of Dino's soulful track Zamaana Lage, music composer Pritam revealed that the actor Aditya Roy Kapur has lent his voice to the songs in the film. Pritam lauded Aditya Kapur for his musical skills and said that the 'Aashiqui 2' actor has given his voice to multiple songs in the movie, as seen in several musical films. At the Zamaana Lage song launch event in Mumbai, Pritam said, "Musical-based stars sing their own songs, and in this too (' Dino'), the musicals that have been filmed on Adi have been sung by him. He is sounding amazing." This revelation has only amplified the anticipation for the film's soundtrack, which features a total of ten songs. Speaking at the event, Aditya Roy Kapur expressed his admiration for the original film and how meaningful this project has been for him. "It's very special for me. I was a big fan of the first film and love the movie and feel absolutely honoured to be part of the film and you know .. as an actor so when you are shooting the songs you have this beautiful words that you have to kind of act like you are singing them but it adds so much depth to everything and the songs always kind of take the story forward and I'm looking forward to hearing all 10 ..I haven't heard all of them. But I am sure it's gonna be amazing," said Aditya Roy Kapur at the song launch of the film Dino event in Mumbai on Wednesday. Zamaana Lage song has been sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh, composed by Pritam, and the lyrics are by poet Qaisar Ul Jafri and Sandeep Shrivastava. The song is all about love and complex urban relationships. After Life in a... Metro and Ludo, Dino is the final chapter of Anurag Basu's trilogy of hyperlinked cinema. Backed by producer Bhushan Kumar, the film introduces a world of modern love and relationships. The songs are composed by Pritam and bring back the creative collaboration between him and director Anurag Basu, known for crafting memorable musical narratives such as 'Ludo', 'Lie In A Metro', 'Gangster', and 'Barfi'. When Konkona Sen Sharma Was Reminded Of Irrfan Khan During The Shoot Of Metro..In Dino
Mumbai (Maharashtra): Director Anurag Basu admitted missing late actor Irrfan Khan and shared how actress Konkona Sen Sharma started crying while filming Dino as she missed her co-star and friend Irrfan Khan. At the Zamaana Lage song of Dino launch event, Anurag Basu was joined by the cast of Life In a Metro sequel, which also starred Irrfan Khan in the lead role. In the first instalment, Konkona Sen Sharma Sen was paired with Irrfan Khan, the couple which finally gets a happy ending in the movie. From the original cast, Konkona Sen Sharma is the only actor who is returning in its sequel. It was hard for the actress to work in the movie again after her dear friend and co-star Irrfan Khan died in 2020. While remembering the late actor, Anurag Basu shared that Konkona Sen Sharma started crying during the shoot of a scene in the movie ( Dino) as the tone of it was a "little similar" to a scene from the first instalment. He also remembered singer KK at the event as the singer sang two of the most famous tracks from the prequel's album: Alvida and O Meri Jaan. "We were shooting a scene, and the tone for it was a little similar to a scene from the first film. Suddenly, Konkona started crying, and even right now, I am worried that the same will happen if someone asks a question about him. We miss him; we miss KK very much, and there are many others who are missing now, with whom we collaborated earlier," said Anurag Basu at the Metro In Dino promotional event in Mumbai. After Life in a... Metro and Ludo, Dino is the final chapter of Anurag Basu's trilogy of hyperlinked cinema. Backed by producer Bhushan Kumar, the film introduces a world of modern love and relationships. The song is composed by Pritam and brings back the creative collaboration between him and director Anurag Basu, known for crafting memorable musical narratives.
