Nebraska football to get visit from 2027 three-star safety
Class of 2027 three-star safety Zykee Scott is scheduled to visit the Nebraska football program for the first time on September 19. This will take place as the Huskers get ready to take on the Michigan Wolverines. This was reported by Tim Verghese. Scott is the No. 37 overall linebacker in the 2027 class and the No. 14 overall player in his class from the state of Pennsylvania, according to the Rivals industry rankings. Currently, he has offers from the likes of Penn State, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Kent State. He had 24 total tackles in eight games last season to go along with a sack, according to statistics from The 2027 Nebraska football recruiting class has only one commitment thus far, in quarterback Trae Taylor. The four-star signal caller is certainly an important piece of the class, and it appears as though the Huskers are going to make a push for top-tier talent in the class overall. Michigan State football extends offer to highly-touted LB prospect from Philadelphia
Michigan State football is the latest power program to extend an offer to a linebacker prospect from Philly. Zykee Scott of Philadelphia announced this week that he's received an offer from the Spartans. Scott made the offer from the Spartans known by posting on his social media X account. Advertisement Scott plays for La Salle College in Philadelphia, and is listed at 6-foot-0 and 200 pounds. He is a linebacker prospect in the 2027 class. Scott is currently unranked and unrated on both 247Sports and Rivals. But he has already earned a number of notable offers, which indicates he'll surely be one of the higher-rated prospects in the 2027 class. Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State, Syracuse, Tennessee, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Kent State have all extended him an offer, according to Rivals. He also has received interest from Rutgers.
