President praises armed forces for vigilance, readiness to defend country

Sana'a - Saba: President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Monday saluted the Armed Forces, with all their specialized and combat formations, for their high vigilance and readiness to defend the country and deter aggressors. In a statement, President al-Mashat saluted the heroic mujahideen as they forced the Zionist enemy to flee after its aircraft infiltrated to target civilian targets on the outskirts of the country. He said, "Greetings to our heroes as they respond in kind to the Israeli enemy." The President affirmed that Yemen of Faith and Wisdom will continue its supportive stance toward our people in Gaza until victory is achieved, noting that no Zionist aggression, no matter its size or impact, can deter our people from supporting Gaza. Al-Mashat added, "In the face of just causes and righteous decisions, the results are irrelevant, no matter how great. The outcome is for the righteous." President al-Mashat addressed the mujahideen in Gaza, saying, "Negotiate and hold your heads high. We are with you, and all the resources of our people will support you until the siege is lifted and the aggression against you stops." He emphasized that the enemy's threats will not shake a hair on the head of even the smallest child in Yemen. He reiterated his commitment to "continuing to support our people in Gaza and defending our country's sovereignty with all our strength. Our surprises will come one after the other." President al-Mashat said, "The settler herds should stay close to the shelters if they do not restrain their government's enemies from their aggression." He pointed out that Yemen is a field for final blows, not a place for show. This is what history says, and the present will prove it, God willing. President al-Mashat also saluted the people of faith and wisdom, and their wise and courageous leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

PM congratulates revolution leader, president al-Mashat

Sana'a - Saba: Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi extended his congratulations to Leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on the advent of the new Hijri year 1447 AH. In a cable, al-Rahawi conveyed greetings on behalf of himself and the Government of Change and Construction to leader al-Houthi, president al-Mashat, members of the Political Council, Speakers of Parliament Yahya al-Ra'i and Shura Council Mohammed al-Aidarous, Supreme Judicial Council Head Judge Abdulmumin Shuja' al-Din, members of the three councils, and the entire Yemeni, Arab, and Islamic nations. The Prime Minister emphasized that this religious occasion carries significant lessons the nation must internalize to confront enemy conspiracies, particularly the Zionist project. The premier stressed the need for the nation to unite its efforts against this threat, rather than being diverted by secondary issues or internal divisions that have strayed it from its religious and moral duties. Al-Rahawi noted that the new Hijri year coincides with the great victory achieved by the Islamic Republic of Iran over the Zionist enemy, a triumph that has brought relief and pride to free people worldwide. He highlighted Yemen's own purest and most powerful images of sincere fraternal solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, who are facing brutal aggression and starvation. Al-Rahawi urged Arab and Islamic peoples to break their silence and act in support of Gaza, recognizing that all are subject to Zionist ambitions that will only cease when met with collective force. The Prime Minister affirmed that the Government of Change and Construction will proceed with its general program, implementing directives from the Leader and President al-Mashat, with a focus on urgent priorities. Concluding his message, al-Rahawi reiterated his congratulations and prayers for the new Hijri year to bring more victories over the nation's enemies and yield fruitful government work. Yemen to alert UN of states preparing to aid Israel

Shafaq News/ Yemen's Supreme Political Council President Mahdi al-Mashat announced plans to notify the United Nations of observed preparations by some countries to assist Israel in its military campaign against Iran. In remarks to Yemen News Agency (SABA) on Saturday, al-Mashat stressed that his country's decision is rooted in humanitarian, religious, and legal principles, calling on Arab and Islamic nations to 'take a unified stand instead of waiting to be targeted one by one.' 'The flames of war will eventually reach every corner of the region if we don't act together to stop the campaign of domination led by arrogant powers.' Reiterating Yemen's position on US involvement, al-Mashat confirmed that Washington would gain nothing by joining Israel's assault except what he described as a deeper entanglement in the conflict. 'Everyone will see that clearly,' he said. He further warned that any actor complicit in the Israeli attack must bear the consequences, revealing plans to direct the Foreign Ministry to notify the United Nations of observed preparations by some member states to assist in the aggression against Iran. 'Yemen will confront any such involvement through all legitimate means.' Earlier Saturday, Yemen's Ansarallah (Houthis) threatened to strike US naval vessels in the Red Sea if Washington supports Tel Aviv, accusing both the US and Israel of pursuing regional domination under coordinated efforts. The warning comes as Israel's Operation Rising Lion continues to target Iranian nuclear and military sites, killing senior IRGC commanders and nuclear scientists, while Iran's response—True Promise 3—has so far unleashed 18 waves of missile and drone attacks across Israeli territory.

Sana'a (Saba) – Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has the full right to strike the interests of any country that attacks it or participates in the aggression of the Zionist enemy entity. President al-Mashat explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that Iran is not an easy target and has sufficient capabilities to respond and extensive relations and agreements with many countries. He pointed out that it would be foolish for the enemy entity to drag any country into its aggression against Iran, knowing that its interests would be harmed. His Excellency the President said, "The time of striking and running away without striking is over." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (Local)

Yemen doubles down on Iran support

Shafaq News/ Yemen's Supreme Political Council President Mahdi al-Mashat declared full support on Monday for Iran's right to defend its sovereignty. Speaking to the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), al-Mashat, also a senior Houthi leader, condemned Israeli actions as unchecked aggression and faulted global powers for ignoring international law. 'No charter grants anyone the right to unleash their rabid dog at will,' he said, warning that if the international system collapses under pressure from 'Zionist [Israeli] servants,' power alone will decide outcomes. Al-Mashat also accused Western powers of weaponizing international law rather than defending it. 'We will take all necessary steps to secure peace and stability.' He called on nations committed to peace to reject what he described as 'Zionist expansionism,' cautioning that continued silence would only deepen instability. Ties between Iran and Yemen's Ansarallah (Houthis) have grown over two decades through ideological and military cooperation. While not a formal proxy, the Houthis are considered one of Tehran's key allies in the region. On Saturday, the group claimed its first direct missile strike in support of Iran's Operation True Promise 3, launched in response to Israel's Operation Rising Lion, which targeted Iranian nuclear and military infrastructure. The Houthis reportedly fired Palestine-2 ballistic missiles at Israeli positions in Yaffa. Earlier, Houthi political bureau member Abdullah Al-Nuami told Shafaq News, 'The group will stand firmly with Iran and will never abandon it in the face of any American or Israeli aggression.'
