Inside the family ‘drama' that kept Kendall and Kylie Jenner away from half-brother Brody's wedding

There's reportedly 'bad blood' in the Jenner clan that led to Kendall and Kylie Jenner not attending their half-brother Brody Jenner's wedding to Tia Blanco. Tense relations between Brody's mum, Linda Thompson, and Kendall and Kylie's mum, Kris Jenner, has spilt over to their children, the US Sun reported Tuesday. Although Kendall and Kylie could easily have made arrangements to attend Brody's Malibu wedding at Thompson's home over the weekend, the sisters chose not to prioritise it, a source told the outlet. Linda and Kris have not gotten along 'in decades,' leading Brody to reportedly dislike the Kardashian mumager. 'He's never gotten over it, and so when the siblings were trying to build relationships, Brody would often fall back into this narrative of blaming Kris for everything,' the insider continued. While Kendall has reportedly made an effort to get along with her dad Caitlyn Jenner's side of the family, the source said Kylie has firmly aligned herself with the Kardashian side. 'Kylie has admitted to friends she just feels like a stranger in the Jenner family unit,' the source explained. 'She has nothing in common with them. She feels her place is as part of the Kardashians.' Reps for Kylie, Kendall and Brody did not immediately respond to Page Six's requests for comment. TMZ reported on Monday that Kendall and Kylie didn't attend the wedding because they thought their presence would take the spotlight away from Brody and Blanco. 'Brody and his half sisters have nothing but love for each other,' a source told the outlet. Caitlyn did attend the intimate wedding, which had around 60 to 70 guests, per TMZ. The wedding took place just two weeks after the Olympic gold medallist lost her longtime friend and manager, Sophia Hutchins, in a tragic ATV accident. Caitlyn, 75, shares Brody, 41, and older son Brandon Jenner, 44, with Thompson — her second ex-wife. Caitlyn also shares son Burt Jenner, 46, and daughter Cassandra Marino, 45, with her first wife, Chrystie Scott; and Kendall, 29, and Kylie, 27, with her third ex-wife, Kris.

The Story Of The BuzzFeed Swifties

Hey Guys!!! I know it's weird for me to post off my Friday only schedule. But, this post needed to be done, because it's not just by me. This is a post consisting of FOUR stories from REAL Swifties here on BuzzFeed!!! Okay, so here is an explanation of how this works. I posted a form back in November or December 2024 (I can't really remember which one lol). What I mean is, it's been open for a while. I only got three entries. If you didn't get in this, I'm sorry. FEEL FREE TO POST YOUR STORY IN THE COMMENTS!!!! The original post didn't get that many views so it's, fine if you didn't come across it. Anyway, I took the three stories and mine to make this post. This one is from @Swiftie_Core here on BuzzFeed!!! So my story… I didn't always like Taylor swift. You see, back in the 2010s, I knew shake it off, it seemed kinda annoying to me but that's like the only song I knew by her back then. I didn't like her because I just thought she got into celeb drama a lot (without even looking into it) and just wrote broke up songs. Even though I hated to admit it (in the past) though, I did like I Knew You Were Trouble Then in 2021 or 2022 - something like that, I heard bad blood for the first time. I was sucked in, at first my friend was just talking about it one day and I was like: 'ugh that song? Didn't she write it about Katy Perry or something.' But somehow (I don't know when or why or how) I listened to bad blood and I was like - 'hang on, this isn't actually that bad. I love this.' I had it on repeat. Then I heard Look What You Made Me Do, sucked in, replayed it over and over. I heard ready for it and then Midnights came out. Her songs: Anti-Hero, bejeweled, karma and midnight rain played on the music station I listened to. I became obsessed with anti hero. Then suddenly in 2023, I happened to know all her albums, off by heart, knew more songs, etc. I became an official swiftie around mid/late 2023 - early 2024. I was so upset I didn't get tickets to the eras tour. So now I'm a full swiftie who loves her. Next, from someone named Bates. (They didn't put a BuzzFeed account) Kevin Winter / Getty Images for TAS Rights Management I'm young enough that the first album I can actually remember dropping was 1989. Before then, I'd only heard her more popular songs (I Knew You Were Trouble, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, Love Story, You Belong With Me, Back to December, Sparks Fly, Mean, and Our Song were about it, those music videos were on repeat in my house). 1989 was the first time I actually listened to an entire album all the way through. I still wouldn't call myself a Swiftie at the time, though. Then, for Christmas, my parents got me tickets to the reputation stadium tour. Seeing her live was a turning point for me, and I've been a huge fan of all her music ever since! (Also, I saw her perform at Arrowhead, which, considering her current boyfriend, is pretty cool!) This one was anonymous, Gregor Fischer / Getty Images for TAS Rights Management I was introduced to Taylor last year! Before that I didn't really like her, but once I started listening to her music I fell in love. The depth of her songs and the lyrical way she write them is fascinating and so magical! She is a huge inspiration in my life, and of course so are her 3 cats 🤭. My favorite album is Reputation (of course) and my favorite song by her right now is The Story Of Us because it's just so good!!!!! If you haven't listened to it yet you should check it out! Finally, here's mine, Gregor Fischer / Getty Images for TAS Rights Management I first became a swiftie in mid 2014. I was five years old in my Dad's car. I heard "Blank Space" and I LOVED IT!!!! I would call it "Starbuck Lover". I made my Dad download it on his phone. I soon learned more songs for example, "Shake It Off", "Bad Blood", "Style", and "Wildest Dreams". Later, my mom made a Taylor playlist for me. The playlist had Taylor's previous hits like, YBWM and WANEGBT. I would always say "play Taywor". Soon after the Bad Blood music video came out, I found it on YouTube when my mom gave me her phone to watch videos. It was my favorite thing. I watched "Bad Blood" for hours on loop. It kept me calm and quiet (I was VERY hyperactive as a child lol). I actually asked to go to the 1989 World Tour, but my parents said I was too young (I was six). I only listened to hits and my CDs until about 2022. Then, I learned all of her songs and learned so much about her as a person. It's crazy to think it has been TEN YEARS of my SWIFTIENESS!!! Now I buy all her albums on CD. I sadly was unable to attend the Eras Tour. But, I am saving to go to her next tour whenever she goes back on tour. I really love the swiftie community. I was often bullied before at school, so the swiftie community made me feel like I had friends who I could relate to about Taylor's music and just TAYLOR HERSELF. Taylor continues to amaze me more everyday. I can say that I am a swiftie forever & always!!! I hope these stories inspired you in some way. I hope you enjoyed reading them. FEEL FREE TO POST YOURS IN THE COMMENTS!!! It's always fun to hear from other Swifties.
