I got cosmetic surgery abroad – trolls say I should feel guilty for not splashing cash on my son, but they have no clue
A MUM has hit back at trolls who say she should feel guilty for spending money on cosmetic surgery instead of her son - insisting he never goes without. Jasmine Murphy, from Glasgow, has forked out thousands of pounds on operations in Prague, Czech Republic, over the past decade. 5 5 The 34-year-old - mum to Joshua, five - does not encourage other people to go under the knife, but is very transparent about any work she has had done on her TikTok page (@jasminemurphyhair). Over the past 13 years, she has had four breast surgeries including three reductions and one set of implants. She has also had liposuction on her face, hips, legs and stomach, plus botox, lip filler and procedures to "tighten" her mum tum and "blitz" cellulite. She said: "I'm a hairdresser, I'm in that world, and I absolutely love beauty treatments. I love things that are aesthetically pleasing." But she admitted she has always hated her breast implants, which she got after losing weight and then tried to hide in baggy T-shirts, so headed abroad earlier this month to have them removed. Including her flights and hotel, the procedure - which got her back to a C cup with a reduction and lift - set Jasmine back around £4,000. While she was on the operating table, she also opted to have upper blepharoplasty to get rid of "fat pockets" on her eyelids which cost a further £900. Jasmine told Fabulous: "I think cosmetic surgery can be dangerous and definitely isn't something to be taken lightly. "However most recently I had my implants removed and a breast reduction and it has substantially improved my confidence and I am so grateful I was able to do this. "I like to be honest about what procedures I have had done, invasive and non-invasive as I feel these things have improved my appearance and I would always be honest about that and work towards keeping beauty standards more realistic." I spent £13k on a Turkey makeover with veneers, a face of filler & a nose job - trolls still say I looked better before She added: "I'm not looking to promote cosmetic surgery to other women but I would always be transparent about what I have done and share my journey and recommendations if it was helpful to them." But after sharing details of her latest procedures, she was hit with a hateful question which read: "Do you ever feel guilty spending money on surgeries etc. when you have a child?" Remaining as transparent and honest as ever, Jasmine said the "short answer is no" before offering a deeper insight into her circumstances and strong work ethic that allow her such luxuries. In her TikTok clip, she said: "I work very hard for everything that I have. "I don't get into debt or sacrifice something in our household to accommodate me having a treatment done. 5 5 "My son is neurodivergent which means he has lots of sensory issues and aversions which. "A lot of the things that I buy for him - whether it's food, toys, playgroups, soft plays, clothes - sometimes like a good 80-90% of that goes in the bin because it triggers him, he doesn't want it, it's upsetting. "I pick him up from playgroups early if he's having a bad time but I don't mind. I spend a lot of money and work really hard to try and make his quality of life as good as possible. "So he doesn't have to sacrifice anything to accommodate me getting a beauty treatment done or a surgery." She continued: "I would just work extra hard and save the money and earn it. I don't drink, I don't socialise, I haven't been on holiday in six years because I don't think he'll cope with the flight and I've always felt bad leaving him. "And I think there is a lot of pressure on women to be a background product of a family. "Like you're a whole human being too so you can do something nice for yourself, you know, why not?" But she did admit: "Where mum guilt would kick in for me is travelling to go under anaesthetic because of course there's the health risk in that. "This is why I'm making sure I am as healthy as possible and I've been to Ross Hall Hospital here [in Scotland] so that I can have check ups and make sure everything's okay before I travel." Mass support Social media users were quick to jump to Jasmine's defence, as one gasped: "What a brass neck of a question to ask!" A second echoed: "What an odd question...I'm married with one son and I still swan off everywhere." A third said: "I think it's plain to see how well looked after and provided for your little boy is and as a sole parent myself I think it is important to do things for yourself when ever possible!" A fourth chimed in: "I've never understood the notion of feeling guilty for spending money on yourself when you have kids … as long as your kids are cared for why should you?!" "Some people just see negative in everything, treat yourself girl", added someone else. Meanwhile, a sixth fumed: "You shouldn't have to explain yourself, you are a good mum and clearly work hard."

Lottie Tomlinson, 26, admits her cosmetic procedures became 'a never-ending cycle' after turning to beauty tweakments after losing her 'confidence' following her mums death
Lottie Tomlinson admitted her cosmetic procedures became a 'never-ending cycle' as she candidly opened up about using filler and having beauty treatments on Tuesday. The influencer, 26, has had her lip and cheek filler dissolved and previously said she noticed the cosmetic procedures had 'got out of control'. Now Lottie has revealed that she first turned to cosmetic treatments after 'losing her confidence' after her mum Johannah Deakin's death in 2016 at the age of 43. The sister of One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson said she believes her mum 'sugarcoated' her diagnosis and she never realised 'how bad' she was until near the end. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Speaking to Giovanna Fletcher on her Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, she revealed that becoming a mother herself has changed the way she views herself and given her her confidence back. Lottie said: 'I felt like it was making me happy, you know? Losing the weight and feeling slimmer definitely made me feel better in myself. But in terms of the fillers and the beauty treatments, it was just a never-ending thing of trying to catch up with yourself. 'And, like, when you lose someone as close as your mum, it affects your confidence a lot. 'That's something I never expected, because if you think about it, your mum is the one person that cheers you on, that loves you unconditionally, that's there to give you that, you know, reassurance and support. 'So when you lose that, you kind of lose that, you know, confidence in yourself. 'So I think I was constantly chasing, trying to find that confidence, thinking I would find it in these, you know, fillers and how I looked.' Lottie is now a proud mum of two children, son Lucky, two, and four month old daughter Flossie, who she shares with fiancé Lewis Burton. She continued: 'But I think what's genuinely given me my confidence is having my kids, because you just realise that it's not important, you know. 'I still like to look nice, I still like to get my hair done', she added. Her mother Johannah died from leukaemia aged 43 after she was diagnosed in 2016 when Lottie was just 18 years old. Lottie said her mum hid how ill she was to 'protect' her seven children and when she did die it was a complete 'shock' to them all. She continued: 'Looking back, she probably sugarcoated the situation because she wanted to protect us, which I understand. But then, when it came down to it, the last few weeks, you know, that's kind of the only time we kind of started to realise that this... you know, she wasn't going to be okay. 'And so to lose, to lose her, that... it felt sudden, do you know what I mean? Because the build-up—we had so much hope, you know, that she was going to be okay. And I think you've got to hold on to hope when someone's ill. 'And she was so strong, she didn't want anyone to know she was ill. She said she was going to fight it, and it was going to be okay. And so we were just, you know, we... that was our mum, we'd take her word for that. And she'd always been right about things. 'So, yeah, to lose, to lose her like that suddenly was just... it was just such a, like, shock. And it's like the centre of everything, you know, it's gone. It's like everything else falls apart, and I feel like we've just spent, you know, the last few years since it all happened, just trying to rebuild that. 'And it's not been easy, but we've just stuck together as a family, and we've tried to, you know, look after each other. And I think we're getting there. We're rebuilding everything. And it's just sad that she's not here with us.' Johannah and Lottie's father, who she was estranged from, had split up four years before and her mother's death prompted her move home to Doncaster to look after her younger siblings with her grandparents. Johannah had seven children, Louis, 31, Lottie, 26, Félicité, twins Phoebe and Daisy, 21, and twins Ernest and Doris, 11. Lottie said: 'Because they were two [Ernest and Doris]. And, like, that's what hurts the most when I speak about it is because Lucky's two now. I don't want to get upset, but the thought of having to leave him now, like, you know, it's... I just needed to be there for them, you know? 'Because losing a mum at that age is just so, so sad and traumatising for them, you know? And I think Lucky is such a mummy's boy, and he's so attached to me. So, like, just putting myself in that situation, which you naturally do, I just couldn't imagine, like, for him, if I wasn't there now. 'But hopefully, me being there for them might have, you know, closed that gap for them a little bit. And that's just what I wanted to do.' Sadly for the family, Lottie's sister Félicité Tomlinson lost her life following an accidental overdose three years later, after taking a fatal concoction of anti-anxiety medication, cocaine and painkillers. Before the double tragedy, Lottie was working as a make-up artist alongside her friend Lou Teasdale, and by 2015 she was on tour with her brother Louis' band One Direction.

Tulisa shows off her bloodied nose and swollen face as she enjoys SIX beauty treatments to keep her 'eyebrows and cheeks' pert
Tulisa showed off her results of her marathon beauty day on Tuesday after completing six back-to-back beauty treatments. The singer, 36, showed off her bloodied nose and swollen face in a series of posts on her Instagram Stories, after completing a series of procedures to keep her 'eyebrows and cheeks' looking pert. Admitting she was keen to pack in as many treatments as possible, Tulisa revealed she had begun with a muscle-enhancing facial treatment at SkinCAN. The former X Factor star, who has previously shared her struggles with Bells Pallsy, explained: 'It enhances the muscles and gives you this snatched look on the face. It's brilliant if you don't want to use fillers.' Tulisa praised the treatment, saying that she really began to notice the results after being able to go five or six months without using Botox. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Following the treatment, Tulisa then shared the results on her face, which included a bloody and sore nose, that left her looking like she'd been 'smacked in the face.' She added: 'I asked Jo to go a bit harder on that area because the next thing I'm doing isn't going to be touching that. No pain, no gain.' Next, Tulisa completed a Collagen Wave with radiofrequency technology, performed by Dermastar's Neelam Patel. The procedure uses heat to stimulate fibroblasts - the cells responsible for generating collagen and elastin, resulting in a natural lift and smoothing out fine lines. Sharing that they skipped the usual microneedling treatment, Tulisa told her followers the procedure was 'super relaxing.' Tulisa went onto film herself during a full body massage and reflexology as she enjoyed a moment of calm before her next treatment, followed by Emface, which combines radiofrequency with HIFES (high-intensity facial electrical stimulation) to tone muscles. With her face covered in sticky pads, Tulisa admitted her face was going to be 'a little red' following the treatment. She then made her way to M Clinic for a thermavein treatment for her thread veins, and shared a glimpse at the painful-looking procedure. Tulisa then ended the day by receiving an Ethra laser for redness and colleagen production - sporting a pair of black goggles to protect her eyes. Following her final procedure, Tulisa showed off her glowing natural complexion, but shared that despite the redness, soothing cream was helping with the aftermath. The N-Dubz hitmaker reassured her followers that the healing typically takes a few days to a week and added: 'I should be ready to rumble by the weekend.' The singer was diagnosed with Bell's palsy in 2020 - a neurological disorder that causes paralysis or weakness on one side of the face when the facial nerve is damaged or stops working properly. Yet she soon became locked in a vicious cycle of having filler to even out her appearance and her face becoming inflamed and swollen. Speaking on Olivia Attwood's podcast So Wrong It's Right this month, Tulisa admitted the problems were particularly bad around the time she reformed with the trio in 2022, ending their 11-year hiatus from the music scene with a new tour and single release. A doctor soon got to the cause after performing an ultrasound on her face, finding 'three chronically infected cysts' in her cheek, one of which popped during an 'explorative operation' due to being so bulbous. Tulisa shared: 'I've no idea what they were caused by, they weren't filler, they were just self-occurring, but I came out of the operation and instantly my face was less swollen. She added that after having her first Bell's palsy attack aged 24, she attempted to use fillers to 'balance out' her face, causing her to be locked in a 'vicious cycle.' Two years passed where the condition was kept at bay, but she started to feel a 'low level swelling' in the same cheek, which rapidly increased. She explained: 'I would have like tingling sensations like little ants crawling in my face. I started seeing doctors all around the UK – "Something's wrong with me, what's wrong with my face" – it was so scary. This went all the way up until this year it was horrific. 'I constantly felt like my cheek was on fire. I'd have good days and bad days and on some days, I'd take steroids, which would bring it down. 'When I was doing that N-Dubz run it was at its worst, so you might see an interview, I look normal. And then you see another interview, it's like, what the hell is going on with my face?' Tulisa also shared her belief that the painful cysts had contributed to a long list of medical concerns she has battled with for years such as sarcoidosis and immune disorders. She shared: 'I've had all these health problems for years – sarcoidosis, immune disorders and this explains all the symptoms that I was getting and could have been causing Bell's palsy because in total there was, I think, six of them. They could have been growing over the years, actually triggering the Bell's.' After years of experimenting, Tulisa said she made the decision to remove the filler from her face and now only uses it in her lips. She added: 'Right now, I only have filler in my lips. There's no filler anywhere else in my face.' Tulisa has always been open about having lip filler and previously joked about her famous trout pout disaster. Tulisa added that after having her first Bell's palsy attack aged 24, she attempted to use fillers to 'balance out' her face, causing her to be locked in a 'vicious cycle' (pictured in 2011) The Young hitmaker raised eyebrows when she showed off an extremely plump pout back in 2014 - leading fans to comment on her rapidly changing face. Reflecting on the incident, the star said on Lorraine: 'I went through stages, I had an allergic reaction to something, and then it took me a while to get rid of it. WHAT IS BELL'S PALSY? Bell's palsy is a condition that causes temporary weakness or paralysis of the muscles in one side of the face. It is a rare condition which is believed to affect around one in 5,000 people each year. It is is believed to occur when the nerve that controls the muscles in your face becomes compressed. The exact cause is unknown, although it's thought to be because the facial nerve becomes inflamed, possibly due to a viral infection. Variants of the herpes virus may be responsible. Around seven out of 10 people with Bell's palsy make a complete recovery, with or without treatment. Most people notice an improvement in their symptoms after about two to three weeks. However, a complete recovery can take between three and six months. 'I still get fillers in my lips, so it's all about maintaining. I'm happy with it now. That's where you're giving yourself a spruce.' Elsewhere in the podcast, Tulisa revealed her plans to get 'fat transfer' in the future to help bring down the bruising in her face which makes her 'paranoid'. She explained: 'I have noticed that where I have been having so many steroid injections into this cheek when it would blow up because of the inflammation. 'As the swelling is going down, I am left with a lot of indentation in this cheek. I've covered it with makeup, it does make me really paranoid. I hate it, no one likes having dents in their cheek or discolouration or things wrong with their face. 'But I will take a bit [of makeup] off so you can see it. It's literally like a bruise, this is the indentation. 'One of the more permanent things you can do is get a fat transfer, which I will do in the future, when I've got time but for now what I'm going to do is a treatment called profhilo.' A surgical fat transfer is cosmetic surgery to move fat from one part of the body to another. It's also known as a "fat graft" or "lipomodelling". Ahead of getting the fat transfer, Tulisa revealed she's undergoing profhilo treatment to bring down the bruising. Treatment with Profhilo improves skin tone, texture, hydration and overall radiance. It can help to increase firmness and elasticity and promote healthier and softer-looking skin. It comes after the star revealed more insights into her time on I'm A Celebrity, as she admitted became the camp's protestor and even predicted her own elimination. The N-Dubz star was the third to be evicted from the jungle after receiving the lowest public vote, and immediately fled Australia to go back home to the UK. She has since revealed her decision to rush home came from her suffering extreme anxiety and becoming overwhelmed with all the cameras.

Tulisa shows off bloodied nose as she reveals SIX painful beauty procedures that keep her ‘eyebrows and cheeks' pert
TULISA took fans behind the scenes during a marathon beauty day in London, where she underwent six back-to-back treatments at three different clinics. Despite the bloodied nose and red, raw skin the 36-year-old bravely showed off afterwards, the singer's procedures are set to keep her 'eyebrows and cheeks' ever-pert. 8 Determined to pack in as many as possible, the N-Dubz star took to her Instagram Stories first with the Skin Can muscle lifting treatment at SkinCAN. Tulisa explained, 'It enhances the muscles and gives you this snatched look on the face. It's brilliant if you don't want to use fillers.' She added that the treatment is so effective that after five or six months without Botox, she only noticed because she started really frowning. 'This treatment keeps my eyebrows up there,' she said with a smile. Next, she endured the Collagen Wave with radiofrequency technology, a treatment she's trusted for years and had performed by Dermastar's Neelam Patel. This procedure works by producing heat to stimulate fibroblasts - the cells responsible for generating collagen and elastin. It results in a natural lift and tightening effect, smoothing out fine lines and plumping the skin. 'It's super relaxing,' Tulisa added, though today they skipped the usual microneedling due to time constraints. The former X Factor judge then filmed herself receiving a full body massage and reflexology as she enjoyed a moment of calm before her next treatment. Then came Emface, a needle-free alternative to injectables that combines radiofrequency with HIFES (high-intensity facial electrical stimulation) to tone underlying muscles. Tulisa stuns in red bodysuit and knee high boots three months after dramatically quitting I'm A Celebrity finale With sticky pads attached to her cheeks and forehead, Tulisa captioned the video: 'On to the emface,' before prepping herself for something a little more intense. She warned, 'It's going to be a little red after this." After that, Tulisa hopped over to M Clinic for the thermavein treatment for her thread veins. She videoed herself receiving painful-looking zaps to her cheeks while wincing in pain. If that wasn't enough, she then received the Ethra laser for redness and colleagen production - donning a pair of black goggles to protect her eyes. 8 8 8 8 Tulisa even revealed that after some of the treatments, her face looked as if she'd been 'smacked in the face', with a notably bloodied nose that looked extra sore due to its proximity to the bone. She said: 'I asked Jo to go a bit harder on that area because the next thing I'm doing isn't going to be touching that. No pain, no gain." By the end of the day, Tulisa was glowing - albeit with some redness - thanks to soothing cream, which even contained foundation to cover the needling marks. She assured fans that healing typically takes a few days to a week and optimistically added, 'I should be ready to rumble by the weekend.' Summing up her marathon beauty day before heading back to Manchester, Tulisa joked, 'Beauty secrets by Tea. You're welcome.' But while she's been sharing skincare routines and beauty tips this week, it was a different story last year when Tulisa quietly pulled out of the I'm A Celebrity finale - sparking concern among fans. The singer, who left the jungle just days before the final, deleted all traces of her time on the show and opted not to take part in the Coming Out reunion or post-show spin-offs. Speaking candidly to Paul C Brunson on the We Need To Talk podcast, Tulisa revealed the full extent of her emotional struggles after leaving the show. She told the Married At First Sight expert: 'When I came out, I began to cry when I had the first moment to myself. 'The first thing I did when I spoke to my team, they said, 'What's wrong?' 'And I said 'Please don't put me back on camera. I need to be off now, it's too much. I'm really proud of myself, but I pushed myself too far, too soon, I need to go home'.' She added: 'You want me to be there out of principle? When I'm having a breakdown right now? No, I need to go home and process this." Tulisa admitted she didn't even go to the hotel to see her fellow campmates, nor did she appear on ITV's companion shows after returning to the UK. She added: 'I guess in a way I'm blessed to be that person to say if my mind isn't feeling healthy, I'm going to take care of myself. I'm not going to push myself over any edges. 'I need to take care of myself, I need to protect me.' Explaining why she also wiped her social media of any I'm A Celeb footage, Tulisa said: 'I did delete everything. 'I came out and the same night I was having a cry I was like I'm not going back on camera. 'I was looking through my socials and it was just all me and I was in flip out mode. I just wanted it all gone and to go home and process things. 'I wouldn't say I've processed it all. I'm at 70 percent right now. "For me to be in the public eye I need to do things that are a bit more hard hitting, things like this [the podcast]. Just keeping it 100% real. 'If I can be in the public eye and it's like that, then I can do it.' The star confessed she was left "hyperventilating and crying" from pressure she felt and emotional exhaustion after her elimination. She admitted struggling to interact with the 'happy campers' while privately battling anxiety and breaking down in tears alone in her hotel room. Tulisa revealed how close she came to quitting the programme. She recounted a particularly intense anxiety attack, unseen by viewers, that left her in tears and gasping for air. Tulisa said: 'Some of the things you didn't see - I had night terrors for the first four days. "I was waking up out of my sleep, and I was having anxiety attacks. "Those parts, not everyone knows, so it wasn't completely smooth sailing for me at all, but I have a great poker face. I really can turn it on, especially when I'm faced with adversity.' Determined not to show vulnerability, she added: 'The last thing I wanted to do was go in there and be the hot mess. So if anything, I'm going to be the biggest soldier there is." Recalling her breaking point, Tulisa said: 'I definitely had an anxiety attack off-camera. I went to the smoking area to do it because I didn't want them to know. "I was trying to bring down my heart rate, literally through my nose. I kept telling myself, 'Get the heart rate down. Get the heart rate down.' "I wanted to leave that day. I thought, 'I can't do this,' but I reminded myself that I was there to stick it out.' 8 8
