A dirt biker can be seen "catwalking" down a sidewalk along Powder Drive in Fort McMurray on June 22, 2025. (Supplied) RCMP are looking for a person wanted for catwalking their dirt bike while fleeing police in Fort McMurray on Sunday. Mounties said officers saw the electric dirt bike rider driving the bike in a 'careless manner' on Powder Drive in the Timberlea area at about 5:50 p.m. Officers tried to stop the rider, but RCMP said the person fled with 'complete disregard' for their own safety or the safety of other drivers and pedestrians and almost caused a crash. The rider then drove into oncoming lanes of traffic before hopping the curb and 'catwalked' down the sidewalk along Powder Drive, RCMP said, adding that officers did not chase the rider due to the 'significant' risk to the public. The rider is described as a young adult or youth wearing a black helmet and all black clothing. They were riding a black electric dirt bike with no licence plate.
