Storm Team 3: Hazy Sunshine & Warmer Temperatures Sunday
Another mild start is expected for your Sunday as cooler/drier air dominates the short-term weather pattern. Less in the way of humidity will continue through the remainder of the weekend as well.
Hazy View At Times
Something worth noticing is a milky/hazy look to the sky, in spite of the lack of drier air. The west/northwesterly winds in the wake of the cold front have ushered in cooler air.
However, the winds have also brought in upper-level smoke from wildfires in Canada. At the moment, air quality will occasionally be in the 'Moderate' category.
Take notice of these conditions if you have respiratory illnesses but this should not be a major impact.
Pleasant End to Weekend / A Look Ahead
Warmer temperatures are expected Sunday afternoon with mid and upper 80s and some lower 90s. Humidity will not bring a significant heat index factor.
Into next week, the pattern gradually returns to the usual warm and humid regime. Rain chances begin as early as midweek with isolated afternoon storms back in the picture.
