Amazon slashes price of robot vacuum with thousands of five-star reviews
Shoppers who snap up this deal can say goodbye to dragging a heavy vacuum around the house At the end of a long work week, housework isn't an appealing prospect. However, new tech is making it a whole lot easier - and shoppers are taking notice of new advancements for home maintenance. Robot vacuum cleaners are one of the gadgets that have become popular, but they can be quite expensive. Those in the market for an automated vacuum are in luck, as they can get the eufy L60 Robot Vacuum Cleaner for £269.99 down from £349.99 on Amazon - a 23% saving. Dealing with tangled hair in vacuum rollers is one of those little chores nobody enjoys, and that's where the detangling tech with the eufy vacuum comes in - it cuts through hair that wraps around the roller brush, meaning shoppers don't have to pull it out by hand anymore. Another great feature is the self-emptying base. It uses powerful suction to pull dirt and dust into a 2.5-litre bag, which means buyers can go up to two months without emptying it themselves. Shoppers just get to let it do its thing and forget about any daily clean-ups. With 5,000 Pa of suction power, it doesn't mess around. Crumbs, pet hair, and dust get picked up in a single sweep, leaving floors actually clean in one go. Thanks to laser-based mapping, the vacuum knows exactly where it's going, navigating homes in neat paths instead of random zigzags. Shoppers can also use the app to tell it exactly what they want cleaned - they are also able to pick rooms, set no-go zones, or even map out different floors. There are plenty of options for robot vacuums that people can choose from, however. For example, the Roomba Max 705 Vac Robot is priced at £549 at iRobot and includes features such as anti-tangle dual rubber brushes, vacuums with extreme suction and auto-empties for up to 75 days. Another option could be the Living and Home Robot Vacuum Cleaner for £165.88 at Debenhams, which comes in a cute baby pink colour and can be controlled by mobile app, remote control, or a switch on the top. The eufy L60 has a high 4.4 out of 5 star rating from a total of 1,975 reviews on Amazon. One shopper wrote: 'One of the best things I've ever bought!' Another person said: 'We have a very hairy German Shepherd, so I had my doubts that the L60 model would be sufficient. It works very well, making daily life a bit easier. The app works well and the hoover creates a very good map of the house. You can send it to clean everywhere or set up zones.' Not everyone was as impressed though, with one customer writing: 'It is very noisy and the dust bin is too small.' 'Little Eufy is an excellent companion, she's very easy to use and can be linked to Google assistant,' said another.

Amazon's 'great' robot vacuum that shoppers 'wish they had years ago' is now £80 off
Many of us will have tackled our spring cleaning already this year, but if you're yet to start it, one gadget might just make it a lot easier. And what's more, this robot hoover that can 'save hours of housework' is currently on offer on Amazon. Amazon has cut £80 off the eufy L60 Robot Vacuum Cleaner , reducing it from £249.99 to £169.99 for Amazon Prime members, including those signing up for an Amazon Prime 30-day free trial. This marks a 32 per cent discount on the gadget which has earned the Amazon's Choice label. The robot vacuum is said to 'effortlessly' remove dirt and debris with its 'ultra-strong' suction, whether on carpet or hard floors, reports the Express . It automatically increases its suction across four different levels when cleaning different surfaces. Users can download the free eufy app to select specific rooms for the device to clean, as well as setting 'no-go zones' to keep the vacuum away from specific areas. The nifty gadget can also clean using maps of more than one floor and run for up to 120 minutes from a single charge. However, eufy states that its robot vacuum may struggle with carpets thicker than 26mm, adding that those with fringed carpets may want to set up a no-go zone to avoid the vacuum getting stuck. Meanwhile, the eufy L60 Robot Vacuum Cleaner has achieved a 4.6-star Amazon rating from more than 1,900 reviews. One happy customer said: 'This is the most significant household purchase I've ever made. This thing cleans everything very well, including a rug, it's very powerful for its size. "I have a cat and I'd have to [vacuum] every few days but now the house is always clean. I move it upstairs/downstairs, alternating the floor cleaned everyday. Best purchase in years, it'll save me from hours of housework every week.' Another said: 'Great robot vacuum. It has great suction, works far more quickly than the previous products I owned and actually finishes the job without any problems. "I have a dog and this deals well with hair on the carpet and the operation is simple, quick and easy. It is worth the five stars I've given, so much so that I have just purchased a second for upstairs.' A third satisfied shopper said: 'I wish I had this years ago. It's absolutely amazing and has a really strong suction. I have a Shark downstairs and a Gtech upstairs and this is definitely the best out of the three.' However, another review said the eufy robot vacuum can be difficult to set up. They said: 'It was extremely tricky to set up – it took about 30 goes to connect to the WiFi.' The eufy is a more budget-friendly option than the £499 Shark PowerDetect Robot Vacuum , but this model does boast a self-emptying function. Amazon does however offer the similar eufy L60 with Self Empty Station , which comes in at £269.99. However, a more affordable option is the Liectroux M7s Pro , down from £259 to £149.25 at Debenhams, but keep in mind this model is yet to receive any customer reviews.
