Tyrone Tracy fantasy football preview 2025: Stats, season outlook, predictions
Rotoworld Staff, Tyrone Tracy 2025 Fantasy Preview 2024: A hyped fifth-round rookie, Tracy bided his time behind Devin Singletary before earning a Week 5 start in Singletary's injury absence. He turned in an 18/129 rushing effort and posted two more 100-yard days over the next five weeks even with Singletary back in the lineup. Then the fumbling began. Tracy put the ball on the ground four times over his final eight appearances, losing the coaching staff's trust while at the same time growing less effective on the ground. Tracy averaged under four yards per carry during his dispiriting stretch run. What's changed: The Giants revamped their quarterback room and used a fourth-round pick on RB Cam Skattebo, who appears destined to begin the year as at least the team's third-down back. The question is how quickly he makes inroads on early downs. To make matters even more complicated for Tracy, Singletary also remains on the roster. Outlook: We suppose Tracy remains the 'starter' for now, but Skattebo is breathing down his neck. Investing in the rookie is the higher-upside long-term play even if Tracy projects for a sturdier early-season floor. David Montgomery fantasy football preview 2025: Stats, season outlook, predictions
Rotoworld Staff, David Montgomery 2025 Fantasy Preview 2024: Montgomery remained the league's most heavily featured '1B' back, handling 16 weekly touches while averaging 16 PPR points. Awesome work if you can get it, though the second D-Mont went down for Weeks 16-18 Jahmyr Gibbs went completely stratospheric, averaging 26 touches for 162 yards and two weekly scores in the Lions' most important games of the year. What's changed: Montgomery rushed back from his knee injury for the Divisional Round, touching the ball just seven times in the Lions' shock loss to the Commanders. Montgomery thankfully avoided offseason surgery, though he did have to watch OC Ben Johnson depart for the Bears' head-coaching job. It remains to be seen if new play-caller John Morton will have the same affinity as his successor for the Lions' strict two-man committee. Outlook: Regardless of Morton's intentions, head coach Dan Campbell isn't going to allow Montgomery's role to wither and die. It's more a question of whether Gibbs has become too undeniable. Montgomery is a borderline RB2, but even his worst-case scenario probably still features 6-8 scores on the ground. Joe Mixon fantasy football preview 2025: Stats, season outlook, predictions
Rotoworld Staff, Joe Mixon 2025 Fantasy Preview 2024: Acquired from the Bengals at the start of free agency and immediately extended, 28-year-old Mixon was surprisingly the engine of an otherwise dysfunctional Texans offense. Subjected to multiple hip-drop tackles, Mixon missed Weeks 3-5 with an ankle injury, but averaged the third most rushing yards of his career (72.6) when healthy. His 36 receptions were somewhat disappointing in light of his 2022-23 totals, but he probably would have finished north of 50 had he appeared in all 17 games. What's changed: Limited by mysterious foot and ankle issues during the offseason, Mixon watched the Texans use a fourth-round draft pick on Woody Marks before signing Nick Chubb in May. Mixon's status for the start of the season is in question as of this writing. Outlook: 29 years old, Mixon's massive workloads could be beginning to catch up with him. Marks profiles as a textbook change-of-pace back, while even a diminished Chubb could earn a small role on early downs. Mixon is under threat for multiple reasons, but he is still the clear lead back and goal-line option for an offense bound for some positive regression after a rough 2024. Watch his status closely during the preseason. Get personalized fantasy football insights based on your league settings with FantasyLife+. Your league is unique, your advice should be too. Kenneth Walker fantasy football preview 2025: Stats, season outlook, predictions
Rotoworld Staff, Kenneth Walker 2025 Fantasy Preview 2024: The lead back for an offense with an identity crisis, Walker was again slowed by injury issues, this time appearing in a career-low 11 contests. When he did suit up, he remained in a sisyphean struggle with No. 2 back Zach Charbonnet. The backup's presence meant Walker handled more than 16 carries just twice. He did maintain a high floor, averaging 14 totes and a solid four receptions. What's changed: Those catches helped Walker to an RB12 finish by average PPR points, though Charbonnet averaged 19.2 in the six games KWIII missed. That would have made Charbonnet the RB5 over the course of a full season. Walker's never-ending struggle with Charbonnet caps his overall upside, but the Seahawks are promising a much run-heavier system for 2025. Outlook: Walker was inefficient last season, but remains amongst the league's most impressive tackle-breakers. New OC Klint Kubiak is an RB-friendly play-caller. Provided he can stay on the field and keep holding off Charbonnet for 1A status, Walker's lead committee role has an RB2 floor and low-end RB1 ceiling. Saquon Barkley fantasy football preview 2025: Stats, season outlook, predictions
Rotoworld Staff, Saquon Barkley 2025 Fantasy Football Snapshot RB1 overall in 2024 with historic 2,000-yard rushing season despite low receptions. Touchdown competition and reduced receiving volume temper repeat RB1 odds. Still a safe top-pick with 1,400-yard, 10-TD floor and elite ceiling. Get personalized fantasy football insights based on your league settings with FantasyLife+. Your league is unique, your advice should be too. Head to and use code ROTO20 for 20% off. 2024: Fantasy managers had long wondered … what would Saquon Barkley look like in an actually good offense? Even the biggest Giants haters found his reply — the RB1 overall finish in every format — to be a bit much. Barkley posted the ninth 2,000-yard rushing season in NFL history and supplied fantasy football titles everywhere you looked. His historic year came even as he caught a career-low (for a healthy season) 33 passes, and despite Jalen Hurts vulturing 14 scores on the ground. He was just that explosive and productive. What's changed: Those lack of receptions and continued touchdown competition make Barkley a shakier bet than you might expect to repeat as the clear-cut RB1 overall, but this remains a match made in fantasy heaven. 1,400 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns is probably his floor. His ceiling — a Canton-level performance — remains unchanged. 2025 Outlook: Barkley has a long injury history and at 28 years old has entered what can sometimes be the 'running back age cliff,' but any reason to fade him is purely theoretical. He's a safe selection at the very top of fantasy drafts. **Projections from Spotlight Sports Group Go to: All players | QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs
