2024: Fantasy managers had long wondered … what would Saquon Barkley look like in an actually good offense? Even the biggest Giants haters found his reply — the RB1 overall finish in every format — to be a bit much. Barkley posted the ninth 2,000-yard rushing season in NFL history and supplied fantasy football titles everywhere you looked. His historic year came even as he caught a career-low (for a healthy season) 33 passes, and despite Jalen Hurts vulturing 14 scores on the ground. He was just that explosive and productive.
What's changed: Those lack of receptions and continued touchdown competition make Barkley a shakier bet than you might expect to repeat as the clear-cut RB1 overall, but this remains a match made in fantasy heaven. 1,400 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns is probably his floor. His ceiling — a Canton-level performance — remains unchanged.
2025 Outlook: Barkley has a long injury history and at 28 years old has entered what can sometimes be the 'running back age cliff,' but any reason to fade him is purely theoretical. He's a safe selection at the very top of fantasy drafts.

The fight ended entirely when Moss suffered a Week 8 neck injury, ending his season. Brown averaged a whopping 24 touches over his final eight games before missing the finale with an ankle injury. All in all, Brown was the RB14 by average PPR points, buoyed by 54 receptions and 11 total touchdowns. What's changed: Brown is neither an efficiency dynamo nor big-play back — he finished 27th in PFF's 'breakaway' metric last season, which measures the percent of your gains that come on carries of 15-plus yards — but he does everything sufficiently well. The Bengals passed on adding real competition, bringing back Moss and reuniting with Samaje Perine. Sixth-rounder Tahj Brooks has excited some Dynasty league players, but that is more of a 2026 concern. Outlook: Brown doesn't have the feel of a half-decade starter in the Bengals' backfield, but there is every reason to believe he will remain on the RB1/2 borderline for the 2025 season. Rotoworld Staff, TreVeyon Henderson 2025 Fantasy Preview 2024: The No. 1 running back recruit of the 2021 class, Henderson (5'10/203) quickly made good on the hype with a 183/1,248/15 rushing line for Ohio State as a true freshman. He added 27 catches for 312 yards and four touchdowns. Henderson's next two seasons would be marred by various minor injuries, limiting him to 18 total appearances. Both his efficiency and volume dipped, preventing Henderson from reaching 1,000 yards on the ground in either campaign. The Buckeye boosters then recruited Ole Miss power back Quinshon Judkins to be the thunder to Henderson's lightning. What's changed: Henderson promptly rebounded with 1,016 yards and 10 scores on just 144 attempts last season. He averaged 7.1 yards per carry and added 284 yards through the air. Every Henderson touch had the potential to end up in the end zone. 2025 Outlook: Having already been pigeonholed as a committee back in college, Henderson will look to avoid the same fate in the pros. He will nevertheless begin his career as a third-down weapon for an OC in Josh McDaniels who has always featured such a role out of his backfields.
