'I dey shame, my reputation don go' – Ibom Air passenger Comfort tok
For di first time since di Ibom Air flight saga happun, di female passenger Comfort Emmanson wey dey di middle of di incident don tok her side of di tori.
On 11 August, Emmanson bin go viral afta she chop accuse say she assault airline officials on board di flight and security officials wey lead to her arrest, prosecution, and no fly ban. Authorities bin later lift di no fly ban and free her of di charges.
For inside one almost 12 minutes long video on her Instagram page, Ms Emmanson bin give detailed account of wetin happun on Sunday, 10 August, as she board di flight from Uyo to Lagos state.
She say contrary to tori wey bin first trend say di katakata wey happun on board na bicos she no gree off her fone, no be true.
'I switch off my point'
She allege say di kasala start wen one flight attendant wey she identify as Juliana, insist say she must switch her fone instead of di flight mode she put am.
According to Ms Emmanson, she say she bin hold two fones, she off one but di second fone power button dey faulty.
"I show her di fone and I tell her say di power button dey bad. She say I still fit switch am off through di settings. I say make she help me but she say she no go touch my phone. Wit di help of anoda passenger, I later manage to switch off both phones," she explain.
'I no be troublemaker'
Emmanson claim say di kasala burst wen di same crew member no allow her come down from di plane wen dem land Lagos.
"Wen we land Lagos, everybody bin dey come down from di aircraft but I go pee first. By di time I finish everybody don already go down. As I go pack my things say make I drop, di air hostess stop me and I ask her why you stop me?
"She no tok she just look me wit bad eye. I pick my fone begin record. Dat na wen she push back inside di aircraft, drag my wig frontal, tear my clothes and break my necklace, and di pain bin dey unbearable.
She also add say dem drag her outside, naked her for public and video her in di process.
"My body outside, my naked body outside, plus di pain. Noe dey too much for one pesin to bear. I begin dey ask dem, 'Why you go do dat me?' You still video me again and put am out there."
Emmanson say di thing pain her and she bin react out of anger afta dem assault her. She insist say she no provoke di attendant.
"God know I no go ever hit elderly woman wey old enough to be my mother. Na di pain she put me through, she drag my wig and naked me for public, dat na wetin make me react."
Di incident bin quickly go viral as airport security intervene. Videos wey later trend show as dem drag Emmanson comot di plane as her cloth tear. Di video make pipo para, reactions begin fly up and down.
Ibom Air and di Airline Operators bin impose a 'no fly ban on her'. Ibom Air press five count charges on her, wey include assault. Dem later withdraw di charges and lift di ban following di intervention of plenty Nigerians.
For di video, Emmanson wey claim say she be real estate consultant say she no know how to go from here, how to face di world, as she dey embarrassed to even go out, afta her naked body don go viral.
"Dem tear my clothes, expose my body, and pipo begin dey take videos. I felt humiliated. Like, di trauma dey so much on me bicos I no even fit go out freely anymore becos my body don go viral. Some pipo even turn am into stickers," she tok.
She say she no know how to face her family, friends and go on wit her business. She worry about her future afta dis incident.
