Choose from the 5 hairstyles to switch up your look

Looking to switch up your hair look? Join the hair craze and look seductive yet playful by gathering your hair on one side of your shoulder. Here are five hairstyles to choose from: 1. Side sweep For a gorgeous summer look, try sweeping your tresses to the side. Add a little sense of chic by braiding, teasing or curling the gathered locks and you're good to go. Quick tip: Having a weave doesn't mean you don't have to style your hair. If you can't style it yourself, go to the salon. – Khosi Mthembu View this post on Instagram A post shared by Swamp Princess (@doechii) 2. Hair colour Colour is fun, and all seasons call for cheerfulness. Though it seems the ombre trend is here to stay, you can still explore other colour options like streaks or colouring your hair in a daring shade. Quick tip: Make sure your hair is in good condition before applying colour as the dye will further damage it. – Jawad Maphoto View this post on Instagram A post shared by BIG BOSS 🔑🔑 (@keke) 3. Big hair don't care Bring your whole look together with voluminous hair to make you feel like you're on top of the world. There's nothing quite like voluminous hair to get you in the mood for an outing or just to make you feel full of va-va-voom. Bring those curls forth and strut your stuff. Quick tip: Use a leave-in conditioner, followed by a diffuser to mould the natural curls. Finish with an oil sheen spray for healthy-looking bouncy hair. – Nthato Mashishi View this post on Instagram A post shared by Chimamanda Adichie (@chimamanda_adichie) 4. High and mighty Turn heads with hairstyles that call for attention. We've picked a couple of favourites for you. Exude confidence by gathering your hair up and away from your face. Twirl it up for volume, reverse it to get a fringe or just leave it flowing. Quick tip: If your hair is not long enough, attach a ponytail clip or extension on top. – Dr Reggie (ORS) View this post on Instagram A post shared by 𝒩𝑒𝓎-𝓉𝒽𝑒-𝒷𝒶𝑒 (@anele_zondo) 5. The crop Look effortlessly stunning throughout the seasons with a chic crop. Our celebs all over the country are doing the big chop! If you're brave enough, why not? It will keep you cool during the summer months, and it's low maintenance. Quick tip: If you can think it on your head, it can be done. Look at things such as accessories to spruce up your hair. – Beauty Editor View this post on Instagram A post shared by taraji p henson (@tarajiphenson)

Hot Girl Hair Purveyor Jenna Perry Opens Her Next Salon

In 2019, colorist Jenna Perry opened a jewel-box hair salon in East Village. 'Hair color is the most important accessory,' she told Vogue at the time. 'If it's really good, you don't even have to brush your hair.' Then, major things began happening for the red-headed colorist: A link-up with model Bella Hadid resulted in many viral transformations (A golden blonde! Some red money pieces!), and from there, the salon's appointment waitlist rivaled The Corner Store. By 2021, Perry and her team of colorists, extension specialists, hair stylists, keratin experts, and more had outgrown East Village. A much larger new salon in SoHo became the home of Jenna Perry Hair—one befitting New York City's cool-girl colorist. But Perry was still holding onto the East Village spot ('my first baby,' she calls it), waiting for the right moment for its rebirth. 'We were hosting events in the space after moving to SoHo, along with doing all our keratin treatments here,' she tells me while relaxing in one of the salon's white leather chairs, 'but I wanted it to have a new life.' Today, the space reopens with a new (but not so far from the original) name: Jenna's. Perry has brought in her best friend—Jenna Bess, yes, they share the same name—and together they have created a beauty spot inspired by their favorite friend date treat. 'Our favorite indulgence is to go get foot rubs or back massages after a long day,' she says. 'So we wanted to create the beauty version of that, using our hair expertise.'

At least try it for a week!! You can always dye it back if you aren't happy!' The love for his natural look came after Rylan revealed he is still open to getting more cosmetic procedures, despite also admitting he has gone 'too far' with tweakments in the past. The bubbly presenter has been incredibly open in the past about what he's had done, previously admitting he spent £25,000 on veneers in 2013. He has also had lip filler, Botox and underwent another procedure for his teeth so they would look more natural. Appearing on the cover of July/August issue Attitude magazine to celebrate Pride month, he acknowledged he had gone a bit overboard with getting work done, but added he never had any regrets because he saw it all as a learning curve. Rylan explained: 'I don't regret anything I've done. I'll probably still have more things done. 'I think if you're in a position where you want to change something, and you think it will make you feel better, and you can do that, then do it. I don't think you should be judged for that. 'Do I think sometimes in the past I've gone a bit too far? Yeah. Do I realise now that I don't have to go as far as that? Yeah, so, I don't.'
