Heat-related hydro outage affecting thousands of Londoners, estimated restoration
Relief from the hydro outage is estimated to arrive by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. According to London Hydro, the affected customers in the Central London, Masonville, Medway, Sunningdale, Oakridge and west London area will have their power restored by approximately 5:00 p.m. London Hydro previously said a power outage is affecting approximately 6,000 customers in the Masonville, White Hills and Orchard Park areas. The cause of the outage appears to be heat related and caused equipment malfunction. Both London Hydro and Hydro One are working to isolate the affected areas.

Hydro outage affecting thousands of Londoners, heat-related cause
London Hydro said a power outage is affecting approximately 6,000 customers in the Masonville, White Hills and Orchard Park areas. London Hydro says cause of the outage appears to be heat related and caused equipment malfunction. An estimated restoration time hasn't been given, as both London Hydro and Hydro One are working to isolate the affected areas. A power outage in west London, which is impacting 230 customers, is expected to be restored by Sunday, 4:30 p.m.
