Kannada actor Upendra joins Ram Pothineni and Bhagyashree Borse for RAPO 22
Kannada superstar Upendra has joined the cast of Ram Pothineni's upcoming Telugu film, tentatively titled 'RAPO 22'. The film is directed by Mahesh Babu P, who made his directorial debut with Anushka Shetty and Naveen Polishetty's 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty'. Bhagyashree Borse plays the female lead in the entertainer, which is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers will be seen playing a larger-than-life character named Surya Kumar, a role that is a representation of every superstar in the country. Ram Pothineni, known for his action-packed films like 'iSmart Shankar', is set to break away from his usual image in 'RAPO 22'. He will be seen in an unconventional avatar with a complete makeover, reminding fans of his romantic hero days. The movie will mark Ram Pothineni's return to a village drama, a genre he hasn't explored in recent Mahesh Babu P is seemingly crafting a narrative that blends heartfelt storytelling with commercial appeal. The film features a strong supporting cast, including Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Satya, Rahul Ramakrishna, and VTV Ganesh.
