INVASION Season 3 Trailer Teases Apex Alien Threat and High-Stakes Global Team-Up — GeekTyrant
Apple TV+ has unveiled the intense new trailer for Invasion Season 3, which is set to premiere on August 22 with a ten-episode run.
Created by Simon Kinberg and David Weil, the sci-fi drama continues to explore an alien invasion through multiple global perspectives, but this season brings those threads together in a major way.
According to the official synopsis, 'in season three, those perspectives collide for the first time, as the series' main characters are brought together to work as a team on a critical mission to infiltrate the alien mothership.
'The ultimate apex aliens have finally emerged, rapidly spreading their deadly tendrils across our planet. It will take all our heroes working together, using all their experience and expertise, to save our species.
'New relationships are formed, old relationships are challenged and even shattered, as an international cast of characters must become a team before it's too late.' It's a major shift for the show, moving from scattered survival stories to a unified global counterstrike.
Returning cast includes Golshifteh Farahani, Shioli Kutsuna, Shamier Anderson, India Brown, Shane Zaza and Enver Gjokaj, with Erika Alexander joining the lineup as a new series regular.
