Netflix customers are being warned to be on the lookout for a fake email that is doing the rounds as it's been claimed that people are trying to scam you out of your personal data Netflix viewers have been issued an alert as another scam is doing the rounds. Users of the streaming service have been urged to "stay safe", as "fake emails" are circulating claiming to be Netflix, and it's recently been brought to people's attention. ‌ Advice was shared on TikTok by tech guru hustlewithchips who works to alert people to scams circulating online, and one of the latest targeting people at the moment comes in the form of an email. ‌ Brits have been urged to look out for the warning signs and "ignore it" if they think it looks suspicious in any way at all. In the clip, he said it's likely you'll receive an email if you haven't already, so you need to be vigilant as one woman previously explained. ‌ He said it's crucial people keep an eye on their inboxes to ensure they don't fall for any scams, explaining: "It could cost you all of your personal data. Scammers are now pretending to be Netflix, and they're sending emails that look incredibly real and totally legit. "Now, they're claiming that your payment failed, and they're asking for you to update your account." He then showed a picture of what the emails look like. ‌ He added: "Netflix will never, and I mean never, ask for your personal information through an email. So, if you get one of these emails, my recommendation is to delete it immediately." Over the past few months, people have reported issues with Netflix scams, and the streaming giant has issued advice on how to handle such situations. There are various types of scams that you might encounter. The Netflix website advises: "If you get an email or text message (SMS) asking for your Netflix account email, phone, password or payment method it probably didn't come from Netflix. Below are tips for identifying and handling suspicious emails and texts to keep your account safe." ‌ Netflix will never request personal information via text or email. This includes credit or debit card numbers, bank account details or Netflix passwords. The service also won't ask for payment through a third-party vendor or website. It further warns: "If the text or email links to a URL that you don't recognise, don't tap or click it. If you did already, do not enter any information on the website that opened." Scammers can only obtain information if you provide it, so avoid clicking any links in the messages and refrain from replying. If you're worried about an email, forward it to phishing@ for further guidance, and then delete the email. ‌ If you've already clicked a link, there are some steps you need to take. Netflix recommends: "Change your Netflix password to a new one that is strong and unique to Netflix. "Update your password on any other websites or apps where you used the same email and password combination. To help keep your accounts secure, it's best not to use the same email and password combinations for any websites or apps. "Contact your financial institution if you entered any payment information, as it may have been compromised. Forward the message to phishing@ with the steps above."

Despite Sharing Kids, Cristiano Ronaldo Said He Won't Propose To Georgina Rodríguez Until He Feels A 'Click' In Their Relationship — And It's Sparked A Huge Debate About Marriage

Whether or not you're a soccer fan, I don't doubt you've heard the name Cristiano Ronaldo. He's regarded among the best soccer players in history and is one of the most globally famous people on the planet, currently ranking as the most followed person on Instagram by quite some margin. And while Cristiano's career is focused on the soccer field, there's no shortage of interest in his personal life, too — not least, his love life. Though he's been rumored to have had romances with a number of famous women over the years, his most notable relationships have been with supermodel Irina Shayk (whom he dated between 2010 and 2015) and his current girlfriend, Georgina Rodríguez. Georgina and Cristiano met in 2016 while she was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store in Madrid, Spain. Since then, the pair have welcomed two children, 8-year-old Alana Martina and 2-year-old Bella, whom they raise alongside the soccer star's other children: 14-year-old Cristiano Jr. and 7-year-old twins Eva Maria and Mateo. With over 716 million Instagram followers between them, Cristiano and Georgina are an incredibly public couple. And, for many years, there's been speculation as to whether the two will ever marry, particularly because they're now based in Saudi Arabia, where it's illegal to live together or have children before marriage. And now, a resurfaced video of Cristiano explaining why he's held off on proposing is making the rounds online — and the discourse is a lot. In case you didn't know, Georgina has a popular Netflix show, I Am Georgina, which documents her lavish life as a mom and ultimate WAG. The first season, which came out in January 2022, details how she and Cristiano first met and, notably, includes the couple addressing speculation about why they aren't married. 'They're always joking about the wedding: 'When is the wedding?!'' Georgina says in a confessional, translated into English. 'Since Jennifer Lopez's song 'El Anillo' came out, they started singing it to me, and well, it's not up to me.' If you're not familiar, 2018 song 'El Anillo' tells the story of someone impatiently waiting for their partner to propose, singing in the chorus, 'I have it all, but where's the ring?' Netflix / Via Explaining his take on the situation in a separate confessional, Cristiano reassured that he's '1000% sure' that he and Georgina will get married one day, but only when he feels a certain change in their relationship. 'I always tell her: 'When we get that click,'' he said, gesturing a click with his fingers. 'Like everything with our life, and she knows what I'm talking about. It could be in a year, or it could be in six months, or it could be in a month.' Well, it's been three years, and that specific clip from I Am Georgina has resurfaced on X in a big way. As you'd expect, it's left people very divided: On one side of the debate, people have taken issue with the whole 'click' thing, finding it strange to suggest you've yet to 'click' with someone you share a life and family with. Netflix / Twitter: @Steadi_lady And while plenty of users have suggested the reason they aren't married might have less to do with a 'click' and more to do with Cristiano wanting to protect his assets, others have highlighted that marriage means different things for different people — and it certainly doesn't have to be the primary goal of a person's life. Netflix / Twitter: @Sylvianenyee Netflix / Twitter: @Itunuuu_A Netflix / Twitter: @AMahimbwa Honestly, just a few minutes spent watching Georgina's show or scrolling her Instagram will indicate that she's seemingly living a happy life. And with that in mind, maybe it's not that far-fetched to believe she's not worrying too much about a ring right now. But still, what are your thoughts on this whole thing? LMK in the comments.
