Obsessed with the nighties in Netflix's Too Much? Here are the prettiest we're shopping (and wearing all day)

If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission - learn more I am, most definitely, a pyjama person. I spend an obnoxious amount of time in silk camisole-and-short sets and feather cuff shorts, because their both a) cosy and b) prettier than most of the clothes in my wardrobe. So I entirely related to fellow nightwear person Jessica (Megan Stalter) when I recently binged Netflix's Too Much. In the new Lena Dunham romcom – a masterpiece, I might add – the American protagonist has a love affair not only with 'musician' Felix (Will Sharp), but also billowy, twee nighties. While I've not worn a nightie since my teenage years, her cutesy selection got me thinking. Firstly, an airy cotton nightie is exactly what I need to sleep without melting in the endless heatwave that's been this summer. Secondly, if I revert to my teenage nightie-wearing ways, I wouldn't only have a cute and flowy bedtime outfit – I'd also definitely get away with wearing it outside the house in the sunshine. A good way to ease into this trend is with a loose-fitting nightie, which is basically the same as a summer dress, only you buy it from a different part of the store. The appeal? First, they tend to come in cute pastel colours perfect for warmer months. Second, they're so loose it practically feels like you're wearing nothing at all, which anyone who's commuted on the London tube in July knows is a joy that can't be overstated. For fellow comfort lovers, here are 9 of the best nighties on the high street that you can get away with wearing as summer dresses. Happy shopping! Charlotte Church seriously distracts Good Morning Britain viewers with outfit that 'looks like nightwear' - jeering that 'Ofcom will be waiting for complaints'
Charlotte Church seriously distracted Good Morning Britain viewers on Wednesday with an outfit that 'looks like nightwear'. The singer, 39, appeared on the ITV show to chat to Richard Madeley, 69, and Kate Garraway, 58, about her time on celebrity version of The Traitors. The Crazy Chick songstress was over the moon to be reunited with her co-star Kate, who has also taken part in the first series. Charlotte opted for a purple low cut shirt and nude lace v-cut cami underneath, which was on full display for everyone watching. The star styled her hair into loose waves and accessorised with some dangling gold earrings. Many rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their shock over her choice of attire for 7:55am. The singer appeared on the ITV show to chat to Richard Madeley, 69, and Kate Garraway, 58, about her time on celebrity version of The Traitors 'OFCOM eagerly awaiting complaints regarding Charlotte Church's outfit. #GMB.' 'You're hardly dressed for a.m. TV Charlotte. Is this your nightwear?' 'Charlotte Church is on breakfast TV in a low cut dress, push up bra and covered in snake tattoos. 'She's a wellness guru apparently.' Kate was very happy to see her Traitors pal Charlotte and confessed that she hasn't seen anyone since filming the show earlier this year. She confessed: 'It was such a weird experience, it was so intense, wasn't it?' The journalist also asked how she was, to which Charlotte said: 'I'm good, I'm really good. 'I'm out here in Victoria Park in Cardiff it's a beautiful morning, I'm really happy to be here talking to you both.' Many took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts on Charlotte's choice of clothing Richard explained that Kate has been really good to not give away any spoilers from the show. And he was keen to know what it was like actually taking part. Charlotte said: 'I think that it's a very diff experience to how it is to watch it. 'It's intense. Yeah, but it was fun, it was fun and intense. 'That's it. I can't say anything else!' Taking issue with cryptic comments, one viewer complained: 'Why have Charlotte on if she's not allowed to talk about it? Absolute waste of time?' Richard - who has taken part in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here - pointed out that during those kind of shows, you forget you're being filmed. Charlotte said: 'What I was taking away from it, it's so, it's immediately so iconic, The Traitors... 'You can forget you're being filmed.' 'It's different to those other shows. You definitely know you're on telly.' Back in April The Celebrity Traitors cast touched down at Inverness Airport to take part in the series. Charlotte Church and Paloma Faith both turned heads in their kooky travel outfits after flying to Scotland alongside fellow sleuths Alan Carr, Stephen Fry, Jonathan Ross and Tom Daley. The Traitors, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, hit our screens on BBC back in 2022. It has become a huge hit and had three successful series.

Shoppers race to M&S as new pj bundles spotted – they're super soft, wash well and cheaper than Primark
FASHION fans are racing to M&S to snap up super comfortable pyjama sets, that are cheaper than some Primark pjs. After a long gruelling day at work, there's nothing better than throwing on your favourite nightwear set, and sitting back and relaxing on the sofa with a cup of tea. 4 4 And what better way to treat yourself after a particularly stressful day than to pick up a brand new set of pyjamas on your way home. Eagle eyed shoppers have spotted that high end supermarket M&S is selling a stunning selection of pj sets in stores, and they're perfect for penny pinchers. Sharing their find on the UK Shopping For You by Mosheez Facebook page, a public page with 9.1k followers, one fashion fan said: "Marks and Spencer ladies pyjama set summer 2025." Attached to the post was a pair of short sleeve crop leg pyjamas, priced at £12.50. The stylish set features a light pink t-shirt and trousers, adorned with an adorable chilli pattern. According to the M&S website, the pyjamas come in a wide variety of colours and patterns, including an elegant coral coloured seashell design and a vibrant blue jungle pattern. The M&S pjs come in a wide range of sizes, from extra small to extra extra large, so there's something to fit all bodies. M&S said: "These cotton-rich pyjamas are a playful pair, thanks to their all-over chilli pepper print. "Easy regular fit, with short sleeves and cropped legs. Comfy elasticated waist. "StayNew™ technology keeps them looking and feeling good, wash after wash." Lingerie expert gives verdict on 'comfiest bra ever' Plus, the pyjamas are even cheaper than some sets sold by fast fashion giant Primark. For example, Primark's Essential Jersey Long Pyjama Set's, which are available in four different colours are currently priced at £14. Shoppers have been sharing their love for the pyjamas on social media, and via the M&S website. One person commented under the Facebook post: "These are lovely, so comfy and light to wear. Timeline of M&S cyber attack Saturday, April 19: Initial reports emerge on social media of problems with contactless payments and click-and-collect services at M&S stores across the UK. Customers experience difficulties collecting online purchases and returning items due to system issues. Monday, April 21: Problems with contactless payments and click-and-collect persist. M&S officially acknowledges the "cyber incident" in a statement to the London Stock Exchange. CEO Stuart Machin apologises for the disruption and confirms "minor, temporary changes" to store operations. M&S notifies the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and engages external cybersecurity experts. Tuesday, April 22: Disruptions continue. M&S takes further systems offline as part of "proactive management". Wednesday, April 23: Despite earlier claims of customer-facing systems returning to normal, M&S continues to adjust operations to maintain security. Contactless payments are initially restored, but other services, including click-and-collect, remain affected. Thursday, April 24: Contactless payments and click-and-collect services are still unavailable. Reports surface suggesting the attackers possibly gained access to data in February. Friday, April 25: M&S suspends all online and app orders in the UK and Ireland for clothing and food, although customers can still browse products. This decision leads to a 5% drop in M&S's share price. Monday, April 28: M&S is still unable to process online orders. Around 200 agency workers at the main distribution centre are told to stay home. Tuesday, April 29: Information suggests that the hacker group Scattered Spider is likely behind the attack. Shoppers spot empty shelves in selected stores. Tuesday, May 13: M&S revealed that some customer information has been stolen. Wednesday, May 21: The retailer said disruption from the attack is expected to continue through to July. "And perfect leg length as I am only five foot." Another person left a review on the website stating: "I love this set. "Very soft & comfy, just what I need." A third person said: "Lovely cropped pyjamas in a nice bright summer colour, excellent value for money." M&S is still dealing with the aftermath of a cyber attack so online orders are currently paused. However, you can still browse their website, and can pop in store to shop for products as normal.

Armarium Resort 2026 Collection
'Vespera is not an ending, but a beginning. It is the moment before something happens. It is the stillness before the wave,' wrote Giorgia Gabriele in the collection notes for Armarium's resort 2026 lookbook. Vespera, the Latin word for evening, is an exploration of the night as a suspended dimension on the edge of the unconscious. The garments do not suggest transformation, but revelation; they are designed for women seeking an uninhibited way to express themselves. For the first time, Gabriele has presented a wardrobe entirely dedicated to nightwear in all its variations, yet one that is crafted to be worn effortlessly throughout the day. The pieces are defined less by function and more by mood. 'I like to observe women and the way they engage with the world, but sometimes that leads me to overlook my own inner dimension,' said Gabriele. 'This season, there were no external influences—it is profoundly personal, even in the way it conveys a kind of confidence that should be embraced not only when the light begins to dim.' A distilled expression of the collection is a black sheath dress studded with tubular glass and crystal fringe: the open back is closed with fabric panels constructed like origami. Bra straps are used as laces on the back of boxy jackets, allowing the fit to be adjusted and the silhouette to shift. Collar bars, traditionally hidden on men's shirts, are exposed and transformed into jewelry. Tuxedos and flared leather skirts, ultra-light knit dresses, and inside-out constructions— the tension between structure and sensuality is palpable. The color palette moves between anthracite gray and glossy silver, rich black and buttery tones, punctuated by a vivid red—used for the first time in a striped poplin—and touches of oxford blue. New jewelry includes the mussel-shell brooch and a twisted rope parure. The season's footwear highlights include a deeply cut ballerina lined in suede, an ultra-bare sandal, and an ankle-strap pump.
