EXCLUSIVE Private jet boss gets a parking ticket when he leaves his £2.2million Koenigsegg hypercar in Kensington

A private jet boss was hit with a parking ticket after leaving his £2million Koenigsegg Jesko hypercar on a street in Kensington. The luxury car, which belongs to Ameerh Naran, the CEO of Vimana Private Jets, was pictured with the bright yellow fine slapped on its bonnet outside Dishoom in west London. While the supercar, worth around $3,000,000 (£2,228,742) sat on Derry Street, the entrepreneur enjoyed lunch at the Rooftop Gardens, according to his Instagram. A parking charge notice (PCN) issued by the borough of Kensington and Chelsea can cost £160, however this can be reduced by half is paid within a 14-day period. This type of Koenigsegg model boasts a 5.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 1280 horsepower on regular fuel and a 1600 horsepower on E85 fuel. The car can go from 0 to 62mph in only 2.79, with a staggering estimated top speed of 310mph. Mr Naran, 39, heads one of the 'most sought after private jet services in the world', his website says, boasting access to more than 5,000 aircrafts across the globe. Originally from Zimbabwe, he first stepped foot into the aviation at the age of 23, and has since developed an opulent clientele which includes politicians as well as royals. In an 2020 interview with Forbes, Mr Naran revealed plans to launch a hypercar with 1048-horsepower, 5-litre, twin turbo engine, stemming from a childhood dream. The CEO was once a promising racing driver in his youth, but due to a lack of financial backing, his career on the track never sped off. However off the back of advice from former Jaguar design director, Ian Callum, and head of design at BMW Adrian van Hooydonk, he studied industrial product and automotive design at university. 'Growing up in Zimbabwe I decided my purpose in life was to build cars and I've been obsessed ever since,' he said in 2020: 'I told my parents at the age of four that's what I would do.' And despite earning credits and celebrity endorsements from the likes of the Kardashians, the entrepeneur was always desperate to find his way 'back into cars', establishing his own car manufacturer, Naran Automotive. It comes after the businessman previously revealed his average client spending a staggering around $1,000,000 (£742,914) a month on 'personal family travel'. According to the CEO, Paris and Geneva are among the top destinations for Vimana clients, who mainly come from Asia, the Middle East and the US. In 2024, Mr Naran said he used freight forwarding licence to transport clients' purchases means that while shoppers pay VAT on goods as they buy them. But when the items are taken to their destination outside the European Economic Area, the tax is reimbursed by a company called SkyBlue Exports, which earns a percentage of the VAT as a fee. Among the companies the private airline broker works with are top-end jewellers like Ferrara Diamonds and Catherine Best among others, as well as pricy department store Harrods and British stalwart Asprey London, which sells luxury versions of items like jewellery, home wear, and handbags. According to Mr Naran, he previously had a client who receives a monthly budget from her husband to spend on clothes of $2,000,000 (£1,485,828). MailOnline has contacted Mr Naran for comment. His parking fine debacle comes after a disgruntled Michael McIntyre had his £195,000 Mercedes sportscar towed away from the same street. The comedian, 49, was photographed in May speaking to an official as his high-end £195,000 vehicle was hoisted on to the back of a lorry with its wheels clamped. Michael looked unimpressed as he had an animated discussion with an official, who wore a yellow hi-vis jacket as builders watched on. The funnyman looked dapper in a navy suit and pink shirt while he sported his signature square glasses for his unfortunate outing into the city. Michael's vehicle, a Mercedes-AMG GT R, had been hoisted on to the back of a tow truck as it was moved from the street. The TV star's vehicle was towed after it was parked in a parking bay reserved for police vehicles.

Bolton man's plea to council after they 'unfairly fine' him and his disabled wife

A Bolton man says he's been fined unfairly after parking in a disabled spot while on a seaside day out. James Abercrombie, 48, was in Lytham St Annes with his wife Rachel,46, who has fibromyalgia and uses a wheelchair, for a visit to a food festival. Mr Abercrombie, who lives in Deane, says that when the couple, who have a blue badge on their car, arrived at the resort's council-operated St Pauls Avenue car park, he pulled into a disabled bay, meaning that, according to the council's rule he did not have to pay for a ticket. To his surprise, though, a few days after he returned home from their day trip, he received a parking ticket and was ordered to pay £25, with a letter claiming that he was parked in a non-disabled bay. The couple have been fined an initial £25 for the ticket, which Mr Abercrombie hasn't paid and is disputing, but this will rise to £50 if not paid by May 28. "My wife has suffered with cancer and has fibromyalgia, so I push her around on a wheelchair, we just wanted to meet some friends and have a coffee. "You'd think Fylde would want to welcome disabled people for a more diverse audience, but clearly not. Mr Abercrombe says he parked in the middle spot marked with a wheelchair (Image: Supplied) "I could have parked on the double yellows, as we have the right to with a disabled badge, but that would inconvenience other drivers." Mr Abercrombie added: "If we have parked in a non-disabled bay, then it certainly wasn't clearly marked, and if so, why are there only two disabled bays if that's the case?" Fylde Council has been contacted, but has chosen not to comment. Their website states: "If you park in a designated disabled bay [with a blue badge] you can park free of charge for up to 3 hours." The Bolton man says that they were not parked for longer than three hours, and a letter from Fylde Council suggests they believe he parked in a non-disabled bay.

Justin Bieber looks stressed and gaunt as he gets a parking ticket in LA after concern for his ‘unhealthy' appearance

JUSTIN Bieber looked rather stressed and gaunt after getting a parking ticket in Los Angeles. The 30-year-old hitmaker was seen departing Credit Bank in Beverly Hills wearing some oversized jeans and sliders while grabbing his crotch several times. 6 6 6 6 Looking gaunt and "unhealthy" again, Justin has once again sparked concern while making his first appearance since a tiff with his wife Hailey Bieber. This was Justin's first appearance since publicly apologizing to Hailey for once telling her she would never be on the cover of Vogue. According to TMZ, Justin was issued a parking ticket after he had difficulties trying to park his very large vehicle. It is understood that his swanky G-Wagon exceeded the height limit. The outlet reported that the singer then decided to park his SUV - which has no front license plate - in a loading zone instead. Soon after, a traffic cop came by and wrote a ticket before popping it on Justin's windshield. Fans of Justin have since reacted to the snaps after they appeared on social media. "Maybe leave him alone? dude is clearly going through some shit," said one person. A second added: "He looks unhealthy." While a third penned: "He's going off the rails again. I feel bad for his child." And a fourth said: "He may have a medical issue stop talking about peoples appearances he's not required to tell yall shit none of y'all business!" 'DUDE LOOKS UNWELL' This comes just mere days after the singer sparked concern for his health while attending a Toronto Maple Leafs game with wife Hailey. Sitting rink side at a hockey game at Scotiabank Arena, Justin could be seen grinning beside his wife. Reacting to a snap shared by NHL on Instagram, social media were quick to react to Justin's appearance. One person said: "Dude looks unwell." Another asked: "Is he sick?" "Dude loooks messed up," said a third. A fourth person then said: "What's up with bros face though?" CONCERNING SNAPS At the start of May, we reported that Justin had shared snaps on Instagram of him using a bong. Sharing some photos from a trip away at a recording studio, one snap saw Justin's pal, Australian singer Eddie Benjamin, playing guitar. In the snap, Justin was visible through an open door in the left corner, and he appeared to be smoking from a bong. Another photo then saw Justin on a patio with a mountain view behind. The snap seemed rather normal, though a bong could be seen on the floor, which comes as speculation around Justin's health continues to run rampant. Also, earlier in the year he shared other snaps with a bong, with some of the pictures even showing him using the item. 'HARD DRUG USE NOT TRUE' But despite the concern around Justin's health and recent alleged drug use, he is said to be doing better than ever. "The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true," his representative told TMZ back in March. They added how the rumors about how Justin is doing is "exhausting and pitiful". They then noted how it "shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive". His rep then said how the singer is "in one of the best places in his life". This statement was issues after Justin sparked concern for his health after looking hollow-eyed earlier this year. 6 6

Woman says she got parking ticket without parking in Redington Shores lot

REDINGTON SHORES, Fla. (WFLA) — If you're thinking about driving to the beach this weekend, be careful where you park and where you drop off guests. A Redington Shores woman said she feels she was wrongly ticketed by a beach parking lot service even though her car was never parked there. Jackie Deppe lives near the Redington Shores pier, so one day she loaded up her car, dropped off a few things, drove home, and walked back to the beach. 'We spent the day on the beach, hanging out. Somewhere around 5:00, I walked back home. I got my car to go back, picked them up, and then left. And that was really the end of it. Or so I thought,' said Deppe. About two weeks later, she got a parking ticket in the mail. The invoice shows her car on camera, coming and leaving, with the times codes allegeding she was there almost four hours. They are charging her $75. 'I think the picture showing me pulling in and pulling out is correct. However, I pulled in and pulled out and pulled in and pulled out again,' said Deppe. The Premium Parking location (P2937) on Gulf Boulevard has cameras, QR codes for payment, and there were about two cars parked there Friday evening. The connecting pier is still damaged, which some beachgoers said could be a reason it's slow. 'They don't really park here, they just bring their stuff out here and go find parking somewhere else because there's no reason to pay that much,' said Alexie Latorre, a beachgoer. '$75 ticket for a minute is kind of crazy.' 8 On Your Side called Premium Parking and gave them Deppe's invoice number. They said customers can dispute tickets if they can show proof, and then referred us to their corporate office. Deppe said they should have all the proof, and said she doesn't plan to pay them. 'I don't feel that I owe it. It says on here that failure to pay is subject to the vehicle getting booted or towed. Well, if I'm not parked there, they can't boot me and they can't tow me,' said Deppe. 'I'll accept that consequence because I've never parked there.' Signs at the lot said they are under a 24/7 surveillance. Deppe said the cameras should've caught her leaving four times, and walking back and forth to the beach. She said they also should've picked up how her car was never in a parking spot. 8 On Your Side is working to get answers from Premium Parkings' corporate office on this matter.
