The young partygoer who became an internet sensation for his distinctive bob haircut while dancing in Ibiza is the son of a career criminal jailed for armed robbery, we can reveal. Jack Kay, 26, has gone viral on TikTok when he was filmed cutting shapes on the party island, donning a gold chain and a pair of sunglasses, gripping a baby pink cup in his hand. In the footage, his bright, white teeth contrast perfectly with his black vest as he purses his lips and throws out his best moves to the groove of the music. But it was the partygoer's distinctive bob haircut that caught the attention of thousands on social media - with many internet users desperate to know who the man, who claims to be a 'normal' lad from Newcastle, really is. Now the Daily Mail can reveal that Jack hails from Lemington, Newcastle upon Tyne, and is the son of a convicted armed robber, John Edward Kay, 45. His father has been in and out of jail for more than a decade, with his most recent stint behind bars being in 2023 after he broke into an elderly man's home on Christmas Eve 2021. John had broken into the victim's house while he was sleeping in the property, waking the old man up with his banging. He then stole a pair of car keys from the dining table and drove off with the vehicle. The three-strike burglar was jailed in January 2023 for two and a half years after judges described the incident as a 'terrifying ordeal' for the elderly resident. It was the third time Jack's father had been jailed for a burglary. In 2015 he was imprisoned for stealing £700 worth of jewellery and personal items from a woman's unoccupied home. The break in happened just months after he had been released from jail for an armed robbery at a petrol filling station. In 2009, as he attempted to rob the kiosk, John fired a shotgun at the Jet filling station in Blaydon, Gateshead. Petrol station worker Glynis Graham had been working alone when John approached with the 12-bore shotgun and demanded to be let in. When he was refused, he fired shots into the glass screen as she fled the scene. He was later jailed for 12 years after detectives found the blood drops at the scene to match his DNA. Last night Jack broke his silence on his new found fame, taking to Instagram to announce he was just a 'normal person from Newcastle'. He told his followers: 'Appreciate all the love and messages of everyone. I will get back to everyone quick [as] I can. 'It's just a lot for me to take in at the moment. I am just a normal person from Newcastle. 'It's crazy, stay locked in, got some big news coming.' He went on to share a picture with Tony Truman, the co-owner of Ocean Beach Ibiza nightclub. Other details have since come to light about Jack's life back in the UK after a woman has now claimed she is his girlfriend. Hundreds of people have since commented on the video, with one saying: 'Girl least u knew he didn't cheat, there's like every angle of him on TikTok just having a ball.' Another added: 'Have a word with his barber then because I don't know how he leaves the house.' A third joked: 'So was his haircut a choice or was it forced upon him by his barber?' Since the footage spread online, Mr Kay - now known as 'Ibiza final boss' - has uploaded a brand new video to TikTok: but this time with friends. He can be seen wearing the same iconic sunglasses and gold chain pulling out more dance moves from under his belt, as a mate puts his arm around his neck. A montage of photos also shows the partygoer enjoying himself with 'the lads'. Somebody commented under the video: 'Short back and Battle of Hastings, cheers mate.' Hundreds of people have since commented on the video with one saying: 'Girl least u knew he didnt cheat theres like every angle of him on tiktok just having a ball.' Another person said: 'Short back and magna carter please mate.' And a third concluded: 'Are the mandem from Sherwood Forest as well?' Mr Kay has already developed a fanbase with some admirers even using him as their artistic muse. Someone who had painted a portrait of the reveller captioned their social media post: 'Excellent use of free will if I do say so myself.' A number of people have even taken selfies with the Ibiza final boss as they bump into him on the island. Tony Truman, co-owner of Ocean Beach Ibiza, posed for a picture with the young champ while another fan mistook him for the DJ and presenter Charlie Sloth on their first encounter.

McGregor, a former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, then landed another blow just seconds later to leave the reveller on the floor. The Irishman, who was wearing tight white pants and a black and white shirt, has not fought since 2021 and was protected from his victim by his entourage after flooring him. One party-goer told The Sun: 'Clearly something's been said to annoy him and he's reacted very badly. 'The guy seemed to fall to the floor, and his mates came to pick him up and get him away. 'There [didn't appear to be any] consequences for Conor, but the guy he punched was taken away and I didn't see him again.' The violent scrap came just hours after McGregor was seen partying with Katie Price at Wayne Lineker's famous O Beach club. McGregor sported red shorts, a cap and sun glasses while puffing on a cigar and playing up to the crowds at a wild day time party. Price shared a picture of the pair on her Instagram page with the caption: 'You legend,' after McGregor tagged her in his own story and said: 'Forever'. Tottenham defender Kevin Danso also posted a picture with the former fighter on his Instagram. Lineker, meanwhile, expressed his disappointment with McGregor over the incident, having revealed the identity of the man involved - someone called Joe Gomez.
