Police van near Redcar crashes into Mercedes on emergency call
A 10-year-old child suffered a nosebleed after a police van crashed into a car while responding to an emergency hit a silver Mercedes GLC, which was carrying two children, on Kirkleatham Lane, Redcar, at about 22:00 BST on driver of the police van was checked by paramedics at the scene and taken to hospital for checks. He suffered force has urged anyone who witnessed the crash to get in touch.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) - the police complaints watchdog for England and Wales - has been approached for comment.
