To get breaking news alerts, click here A blue Toyota crashed on Highway 101 near Nipomo, flipping onto Thompson Avenue and bringing northbound traffic to a crawl Sunday afternoon, according to CHP's traffic incident page. An overturned vehicle was reported at 3:20 p.m., with Cal Fire and medics reported en route one minute later, the CHP page said. The Toyota flipped over on its roof and landed on Thompson Avenue. It was expected to be towed by Four Corners Grover Beach Towing, according to the CHP page. In the meantime, CHP blocked off both north and southbound lanes on Thompson Avenue, according to the CHP pages. The incident appeared to be slowing traffic in the area of Highway 166 as well, according to the Caltrans QuickMap.

According to the California Highway Patrol's traffic incident report page, at least two vehicles were involved in a crash near the San Luis Bay Drive off-ramp around 8:06 p.m. One, a gray Chevy Tahoe, reportedly rolled over and was on its side blocking the No. 2 lane, according to the CHP page. An Audi sedan and a Honda Accord were meanwhile both in the center divider, according to the CHP page. It was unclear which, if either, were involved in the crash. The crash was slowing traffic in the vicinity as of 8:20 p.m. Saturday, according to the Caltrans QuickMap.

To get breaking news alerts, click here Two vehicles were involved in a head-on crash on Highway 1 in southern San Luis Obispo County on Wednesday afternoon. According to the California Highway Patrol's Traffic Incident Information Page, at around 3:53 p.m., two vehicles collided head-on at the top of the hill at Via Concha Road, blocking both lanes of the road. The crash happened near Monarch Dunes Golf Club. According to emergency scanner traffic, two people were injured in the crash. One patient with moderate injuries required extrication from their vehicle and was removed by around 4:05 p.m., while the other was able to pull themselves from the car with minor injuries, according to the scanner. Multiple emergency response vehicles were dispatched to the scene of the crash.

The crash occurred around 4:16 p.m. near the Grand Avenue off-ramp, according to the CHP traffic incident report. A black Mazda CX9, burgundy Honda Pilot, white Toyota sedan, black Lexus SUV and white work truck were all involved, according to the CHP page. The vehicles were at one point blocking the right lane, CHP reported, and the Honda Pilot was not driveable. The crash happened right during what is usually the busiest time along that stretch of Highway 101. According to Caltrans QuickMap, southbound traffic was backed up from Grand Avenue to Avila Beach Road as of 5:30 p.m.
