‘Electric Vehicles: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly'
NR | 1h 28m | Documentary | 2025 In the battle between electric vehicles and internal combustion engines, electric is winning—at least with the Federal and California state governments. Surely, the politicians carefully weighed the pros and cons, right? Bestselling author and media commentator Larry Elder is not so sure. He does the thorough analysis politicians avoid as the presenter, investigator, and on-camera host of 'Electric Vehicles: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,' directed by Mathias Magnason.

Buckingham Palace snubs Zara Tindall's 44th birthday days after Prince Harry comments
Zara Tindall has celebrated her birthday but Buckingham Palace has failed to mark the beloved royal family member's big day. The only daughter of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, she is not technically a working royal like her cousins and works as a pro horse rider, even winning a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics as an equestrian. Tindall, who is consistently ranked as among the most popular royals with the public, celebrated her 44th birthday on Thursday. However, none of the official palace social media accounts marked Tindall's big day following a policy change surrounding birthdays after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. In 2022, royal aides announced the palace will only mark the birthdays of 'working members' of the royal family on their official social media accounts. Awkwardly, the snub came just days after Tindall appeared to break rank with the royal family after publicly commenting on the monarchy's feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Last week, Tindall attended the London Sporting Club lunch and candidly spoke about her feuding royal relatives. "It is very hard to see from the outside, but 100 per cent, it is a family that is still going through the same struggles other people do,' the Olympian said, as reported by The Sun newspaper. The down to earth Tindalls live on Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate and share daughters Mia Grace and Lena Elizabeth and son Lucas Philip, who are similar in age to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Tindall serves as godmother to future King George, while her brother Mark Phillips has increasingly become 'like a brother' to Prince William after the Sussex feud. She was also recently spotted attending the Bahrain Grand Prix alongside her other cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, as well her aunt the Duchess of York. Meanwhile, her husband Mike Tindall has publicly defended his in-laws amid Markle's claims about her struggles marrying into the royal family. Reflecting on his own transition into royal life, the former English rugby star admitted it was "easier than it could have been". "Believe it or not, marrying into the royal family was pretty easy for me," he wrote in his memoir, The Good, the Bad, and the Rugby: Unleashed, released in October. In a passage many took to be a cheeky dig at Markle, he wrote: "They were always nice to me, and I was always nice to them. Simple really."

‘It is very hard to see from the outside': Zara Tindall opens up about family struggles amid reported Prince Harry rift
Zara Tindall has given a rare interview that appeared to address her reported estrangement from her cousin Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle for the first time. The only daughter of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, Zara is not technically a working royal like her cousins and works as a pro horse rider, even winning a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics as an equestrian. On Wednesday, Tindall attended the London Sporting Club lunch and reportedly spoke about her feuding royal relatives. "It is very hard to see from the outside, but 100 per cent, it is a family that is still going through the same struggles other people do,' the Olympian said, as reported by The Sun newspaper. 'Whether they are relationships, obviously, it is very easy to see every day. We're still very supportive of each other." Tindall, 43, and her husband Mike Tindall, 46, a retired rugby great, are fiercely loyal to the monarchy and have reportedly cut ties with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for betraying Charles. Elsewhere, Tindall praised her late grandmother Queen Elizabeth II as an 'inspiration to all'. 'We had a very incredible person to look up to who is sadly not here anymore,' she said. "She was amazing and an inspiration to all of us." The down to earth Tindalls live on Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate and share daughters Mia Grace and Lena Elizabeth and son Lucas Philip, who are similar in age to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Tindall serves as godmother to future King George, while her brother Mark Phillips has increasingly become 'like a brother' to Prince William after the Sussex feud. Dave Bautista says "I always look to Clint Eastwood" when approaching a western role: "He's always going to be my gold standard"

Dave Bautista has just checked playing a cowboy off his bucket list as the star takes on the role of weary wanderer Boyce in the upcoming fantasy-western movie In the Lost Lands – a character that he says is heavily inspired by genre icon Clint Eastwood. "I always look to Clint Eastwood," says Bautista to GamesRadar+ when asked if he was inspired by any western actors when approaching the new movie. "You know, I love Clint Eastwood. When I think about cowboys, when I think about westerns, I think Clint Eastwood" In the movie, Bautista plays the cowboy hat-wearing pistol-wielding brawny wanderer Boyce, tasked with venturing into the Lost Lands. But as we get to know the quiet type, it becomes apparent that the character "clearly [mimics] Clint Eastwood's demeanor as a cowboy," as Bautista puts it. "He was a man of few words. I like that," says Bautista of The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly star. "Clint Eastwood acts with his eyes. He's a very subtle actor who doesn't have to do much with his body to convey a lot. And so as far as you know, cowboys go, Westerns go, he's always going to be my gold standard." Although In the Lost Lands isn't your typical gun-slinging cowboy flick as it mixes multiple genres and includes many fantasy and horror tropes such as witches and werewolves, director Paul W.S. Anderson could see that the movie had western attributes as soon as he got his hands on the story. "I had also wanted to make a Western for a long time, so this was a great opportunity for me to kind of indulge in that," adds the helmer. "And I know Dave really appreciated that as well." Based on the short story of the same name by Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin, In the Lost Lands follows a witch named Grey Alys (Milla Jovovich) who is sent by a queen to the Lost Lands in search of a magical power that can turn a human into a werewolf. Guided by drifter Boyce, the sorceress must outwit and outfight man and demon to deliver what she has promised. In the Lost Lands hits theaters on March 7.
