Unoccupied truck catches police attention, stolen vehicles discovered
One of the three recovered heavy duty trucks in Bradford by South Simcoe Police South Simcoe police spotted an unoccupied truck that caught their attention and led to the recovery of three stolen commercial trucks valued at nearly $600,000 in Bradford. According to police, the recovery happened on Friday, in a commercial plaza on Holland Street West. After further investigation, police determined the truck was reported stolen from York Region a few days earlier. The truck was undamaged and fully loaded with commercial goods with a recovered value of $300,000. Two other trucks were also found in the area also stolen from Halton and Peel Regions, with a combined value of $275,000. No arrests have been made and the investigation is on going.
