Like the latest generation of smartwatches, the Oura Ring 4 is a sophisticated health tracker that monitors your body by using an array of sensors to capture all sorts of data. Your heart rate, temperature, sleep, and movement are just a few of the information that the smart ring collects, and they're translated to personalized insights that will let you learn more about your physical wellbeing through an Oura membership that costs just $6 per month or $70 per year. These Editor-Approved Travel Accessories Are on Sale for Prime Day 2025
Deals and pricing updated as of 5:05 p.m. on July 9, 2025. Amazon Prime Day is here—and there's no better time for travelers to refresh their gear and save big with top deals on travel accessories. The annual mega-sale returns this year bigger and better than ever, with thousands of deals across all major categories. We're excited to see Amazon's steepest discounts of the year on some of the most essential travel accessories, from noise-canceling headphones and wearable tech to portable steamers, tote bags, and toiletry bags. These are the travel accessories that help make the journey on any long-haul flight, cross-country road trip, or transatlantic cruise that much smoother—and many of them are editor-tested and approved. Below, we gathered all the can't-miss Amazon Prime Day travel accessory deals to shop now, with discounts as high as 60% off. While deals run through Friday, July 11, there is no guarantee bestsellers will still be in stock, so don't delay adding something to your shopping cart ASAP. For even more Prime Day sales, head to Traveler's Amazon Storefront. Top picks Wearable tech One of this year's top Prime Day deals is on the popular Oura Ring. The smart ring is a favorite of mine, and it's currently 15% off for Prime members. The Oura Ring tracks your sleep patterns, daily steps, and heart rate, making it easier than ever to stay on top of your goals while traveling. Also on sale: smart watches and fitness trackers designed for active travelers on the go from Apple, Garmin, Samsung, Fitbit, and more. Noise-canceling headphones Noise-canceling headphones were among our readers' most-purchased items last Prime Day, so we're glad to see bestsellers from Apple, Beats, Marshall, Sony, and Soundcore are discounted again. Whether you're trying to block out noisy plane neighbors or listen to your favorite podcast on your daily commutes, a high-quality pair of headphones is always essential. E-readers Prime Day is a great time to save on a new e-reader: The Kindle Paperwhite, Paperwhite Essentials Bundle, and Scribe are currently 30% off. These lightweight gadgets keep you entertained on flights and train rides without the bulk that comes with packing heavy books in your backpack. And if you already love your Kindle, grab this remote-controlled page turner that makes reading in bed a whole lot easier. Portable chargers Never worry about your phone dying just before takeoff ever again. A portable charger takes up minimal space in your backpack or tote bag and ensures you're always powered up. A few of our favorite compact chargers are currently on sale. Portable fans Portable fans are key to staying cool this summer, whether you're waiting in line at a concert or lying by the pool. These editor-approved fans are extremely lightweight and easy to stash in a fanny pack or crossbody bag. They have a few different speeds and pretty good battery life for such small devices. Lightweight steamers Sure, some hotels have irons, but they don't always do the job at dewrinkling formal dresses or suits. It's a smart idea to bring along your own steamer that won't take up a ton of space or weight in your suitcase, but still works well. Many of our favorites that have been tested and reviewed are on sale right now, including editor-favorites from Nesugar, Hilife, and Proctor. Tote bags A trusty tote bag is a must-have for any beach trip or day at the farmer's market. I always pack one in my carry-on to hold souvenirs I pick up during a day of sightseeing. Below, a few stylish, packable tote bags on sale that we love, including Bagsmart's puffer-life tote and Simple Modern's waterproof bag that has enough room for the whole family's beach day essentials. Handbags We're also seeing great deals on handbags, from chic shoulder bags to versatile crossbody bags. These stylish bags are easy to transition from daytime shopping to evening dinners in town. Go for a neutral hue like ivory, black, or camel that will match most of the outfits in your capsule wardrobe. Travel pillows Make sure to bring a supportive neck pillow with you on your next red-eye. These ultra-soft pillows help keep you a little more comfortable in that cramped middle seat. Many travel pillows on the market are bulky, but there are plenty of options on Amazon that are lightweight, supportive, and best of all, packable. Find a few of our favorites below that all happen to be on sale. Sleep masks Speaking of catching some in-flight z's, a super-soft sleep mask is a non-negotiable. These masks help block out light and soothe you as you soar through the sky. I also use an eye mask when I arrive at a destination in a different time zone, when I need a nap during the day, and have to pretend it's nighttime. Toiletry bags Every traveler needs a roomy Dopp kit that can hold toiletries, skincare essentials, and makeup. Many of our go-to toiletry bags, like this best-selling hanging kit from Bagsmart, are currently discounted. Below, you'll find options ranging in size and shape, with nice features like water-resistant exteriors and separate compartments. We also included an easy-to-clean makeup brush holder with a magnetic closure that fits nicely in any weekender bag. Toiletry bottles We're also seeing discounts on reusable toiletry bottles. These leakproof bottles hold shampoo, conditioner, face wash, serums, sunscreen, and more without the fuss of buying miniature versions of all your everyday products. If you want to ditch the plastic and upgrade your current set of toiletry bottles, go for Cadence capsules (a favorite of mine). These leakproof capsules are magnetic and designed without any right angles, so they're easy to clean and refill again and again. The Flex Extender lets you add more product inside a capsule, which is especially nice for longer vacations. I pack a few of these capsules on every trip. Packing cubes If you haven't tried packing cubes yet (seriously, why?), now is the perfect time. Several packing cubes, including compressible versions, are part of Amazon Prime Day's travel accessories discounts. Whether you're a chronic overpacker who needs to save some extra room or a traveler who just wants to separate their shoes and dirty clothes, packing cubes will always come in handy. I never travel without them! Reusable water bottles A well-insulated reusable water bottle comes in handy on every trip, but especially those in hot and humid climates. Owala's FreeSip bottle is an editor-favorite for its leakproof mouthpiece, while Stanley's viral tumbler has gained a bit of cult following for its sleek look. Travel umbrellas These lightweight umbrellas are great for travelers who are headed to rainy cities. They don't weigh down your tote bag and come in handy if you get caught in a downpour. Bestsellers from Weatherman and Repel are both on sale for Prime Day, making now a great time to snag a new, reliable umbrella.

I've tried every big-brand smart ring on the market — Oura's Gen3 is a steal at 34% off in flash sale
AS The Sun's reviews manager, I've tried fistfuls of smart rings. I've got my hands on (or, more specifically, in) big names like Samsung and Ultrahuman, as well as lesser-known brands like RingConn and Amazfit. However, there's no getting around it: Oura makes the best smart ring out there. And that's reflected in the price: the new Oura Gen4 will cost you a minimum of about £300, even on sale — if you want a posh Gold or Rose Gold finish, be prepared to spend up to £500. Thankfully, Amazon's mega Prime Day sale means you can get the slightly older Gen3 Ring for just £165. Amazon's decision to make its 2025 Prime Day four days long means that the I've tried both the Gen 3 and Gen 4, and I can testify that the difference between the two does not justify hundreds of pounds of extra cash. Let me set out the differences: Oura Ring Gen3 Oura Ring Gen4 Best price at time of writing £165 in the Amazon Prime Day Sale £283 in the Amazon Prime Day sale Battery Life Up to 7 days Up to 8 days Thickness 2.7mm (Heritage) or 2.9mm (Horizon) 2.88mm Weight 4-6g depending on size 3.3-5.2g depending on size Design Fully titanium interior and exterior, 0.3mm sensors Titanium exterior, epoxy interior, 1.3mm sensors Sensing 8 sensing paths Up to 18 sensing paths with "Smart Sensing" Sizes 6-13 4-15 Waterproofing 100m/328ft 100m/328ft Charging time 20-80 mins 20-80 mins Oura Gen3 Horizon Smart Ring, £249 £165 from Amazon BUY HERE The point I'm trying to illustrate here is not that the Gen3 is as good as the Gen4, because it isn't. The point I'm trying to make is that the Gen4 represents a series of marginal improvements on the Gen3, most of which are unnoticeable. For example, are you going to notice carrying an extra 0.7g or 0.8g on your finger? That's about the weight of a single paperclip. What I care more about is the thickness, and if you get the Gen3 Horizon, it's actually slimmer than the Gen4. Some people have said that the Gen4 is more comfortable, thanks to the fact it has less protruding sensors, but likewise, I haven't noticed it. And while, on paper, the accuracy of the Gen4 is better, the Gen3 is already so accurate that I haven't noticed much of a difference in my metrics. It's the same story with the battery life; charging your ring every seven days or every eight days essentially comes to the same thing. What would have been really useful is if the Gen4 came with a charging case, like the RingConn Gen2. Oura notoriously doesn't run many sales — we've been following the brand for years and this is the first sizeable discount we've seen on any of its products. Amazon data backs that up; according to price tracker CamelCamelCamel, the Gen3 Ring has never been so cheap on the platform. In summary, if you're on the fence between dropping £165 on the Gen3 or £283 on the Gen 4, I'd recommend you save your money and opt for the Gen3. It has all of the tech that makes the Oura Ring the best smart ring on the market, with none of the off-putting pricing. Pebble Halo Smart Ring arrives with a digital display, stainless steel design, and a sub-$100 price tag
Indian smart wearables brand Pebble today announced Halo Smart Ring as its first smart ring, "designed for consumers who want their tech to blend seamlessly with their personal style." The biggest highlight of the Pebble Halo Smart Ring is its active digital display, which shows time, battery status, and health and fitness data. Speaking of, the Pebble Halo Smart Ring comes with the usual slew of health and fitness features, including a step counter, a heart rate monitor, sleep tracking (supports REM sleep), stress monitoring, and blood oxygen level measurement. The brand says it also supports multiple sports modes, but doesn't provide specifics. Additionally, the Pebble Halo Smart Ring comes with a chant counter and supports gesture control for playing games, scrolling videos, controlling music and the camera, and flipping pages in e-book readers on the connected device. Pebble hasn't revealed the battery capacity of the Halo Smart Ring, but claims it will have an endurance of 3-4 days, with the charging time being two hours. The Halo Smart Ring has a stainless steel body and is water and dust-resistant; however, Pebble says that "prolonged exposure to water can damage the device" and advises users to remove it "before any water-related activity." The Pebble Halo Smart Ring weighs 190g, has Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, and comes in six sizes (7 to 12). You can buy one in black, silver, or gold color starting July 4 in India through Pebble's official website or Flipkart. Pebble Halo Smart Ring's color options The Pebble Halo Smart Ring is priced at INR7,999 ($95/€80), but you can get it at a special launch price of INR3,999 ($45/€40) if you pre-book one through Pebble's website.
