Presented by Australia's Showmen Productions, the high-energy family favourite runs from the 30th of July to the 25th of August (excluding the 18th), with daily performances at 2:50pm in the Palais Du Variete at Assembly George Square Gardens. Blending traditional circus skills with a modern twist, the hour-long production features a mix of acrobatics, aerial stunts, juggling, illusions, and comedy. At the heart of the show is Western Australian performer Magnus Danger Magnus as the flamboyant ringmaster, joined by crowd favourite Nathan Green, whose clowning includes squeezing himself inside a giant six-foot balloon — a guaranteed hit with younger audiences. Huge circus arrives at Edinburgh shopping park ahead of four-day show 'like no other'

More info A huge circus has arrived in Edinburgh at a busy shopping park ahead of a four-day 'one-of-a-kind' show. Big Kid Circus has shared images of the set-up at Fort Kinnaird before the first show gets underway on Thursday, May 15. The event, promising a family day out like no other, will also feature a huge 30-foot King Kong and a diverse cast of performers from every corner of the world. Aerial images show the huge red big top erected and ready to go at the retail and leisure park with shows at 4.45pm and 7.30pm on Thursday and Friday and 12pm, 2.45pm and 5.30pm on Saturday. The last two shows will take place at 12pm and 3pm on Sunday. Tickets for all seats are priced at £9.99 with a box office already open on site for customers to book their place. Describing the show on their website, Big Kid Circus say: "Prepare to be amazed as Big Kid Circus celebrates its monumental 20th anniversary in 2025 with a family day out show unlike anything the UK has ever seen! For the first time, witness the 30-foot-tall King Kong, a towering spectacle that will leave both kids and adults in awe.
