Matt and Emma Willis 'sad' by Netflix decision over Love is Blind

Presenting duo Matt and Emma Willis have spoken about the rules on Love Is Blind and how their relationship has been shaped by therapy Television presenting duo Matt and Emma Willis said they were said when the producers behind Love is Blind made a big decision after the show. Love is Blind is a streaming series on Netflix where equal numbers of single men and women live in separate areas and spend two weeks dating members of the opposite sex in pods where neither one can see the other. ‌ As a result, the focus is meant to be not on how someone looks, but their personality and how one converses with them. During this time period, contestants must decide whether or not they want to be engaged to the other, before spending three weeks in a flat together before deciding, at a wedding ceremony, whether or not to marry their partner. ‌ Busted bassist Matt, 42, and Emma, 49, have been the presenting the UK version of the hit Netflix dating show for the past few years, although recently announced their decision to step back from the accompanying podcast. ‌ But despite building connections with contestants on the show, they revealed they were unable to attend the wedding ceremonies for one key reason. Matt told the i: 'Apparently they tried this with the American hosts and it was too distracting.' Emma then added: 'We should just get ordained and conduct the ceremonies ourselves!' The pair's comments as they discussed their own 17-year marriage and the benefits of therapy within a relationship nearly 20-years after they first met through friends. Emma said that she was the one who made the first move Matt. She said: "I was physically attracted to Matt before I fell in love with him. He was - and still is - the most charismatic person I've ever met. As well as funny and kind.' Matt added: 'I remember the first time I hung out with Emma. Nothing happened. But I walked back to my hotel thinking: 'Oh my god! That is the coolest f****** girl I've ever met.' I remember that very vividly.' ‌ As well as looking back on the good times in their relationship, the pair have also been open about the difficult times in their marriage and how much therapy has helped them. Speaking to the BBC about it ahead of their programme 'Change Your Mind' which looked at therapy, Emma said that it had worked well for them and hoped it would work for other people. She said: 'I think we've both experienced first-hand the effects that it can have. "For us, we're huge advocates of therapy, if it's accessible to you, or simply talking or finding tools or tips and tricks that can help you.' Matt added: 'We've been through a journey and an experience. I've had quite a lot of therapy in my life and it's been transformative for me. It's also knowing the work is outside the room as well.'

Absolutely Everything You Need Too Know About Sandy Gallagher, The Star Of Netflix's Perfect Match

With Love Island coming to an end tonight, you might be wondering how we're going to fill the reality shaped hole in our TV schedules. Step in Perfect Match, Netflix's dating show, which features contestants from other reality shows, who then pair up and compete in a series of challenges. Think of it as all your favourite dating shows, in one. After a successful first couple of runs, the show is back for its third series, with the cast featuring stars from Love is Blind, Temptation Island, Love Island USA and UK and Too Hot to Handle, to name a few. One of the stars who will be making an impact on the show is Sandy Gallagher, who has matched with former Too Hot to Handle lothario Louis Rusell. Sandy Gallagher is a reality TV star who found fame on season three of Netflix's The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On. Since the show, Sandy has been making waves in the fashion, entertainment, and entrepreneurial worlds - and now has a reality TV stint coming up. In an interview with Lady Gunn, Sandy spoke about how her journey to the entertainment industry came as a surprise. 'I never really thought I'd be in the entertainment space, to be honest. I was on a much more traditional route post-college, working corporate sales. I was doing very well at my job when I suddenly felt the urge to quit and try something new,' she told the outlet. 'Shortly after that, I got approached for 'The Ultimatum.' I felt that the timing of this wasn't a coincidence.' Sandy Gallagher was born on 19th November 1995, making her 29-years-old. Sandy certainly had a journey filled with ups and downs while on The Ultimatum! She joined the show with her partner Nick Tramontin after he gave her an ultimatum – he was ready to leave the city and get married, while she felt she was too young. Nick and Sandy had a rocky journey on the show, with Nick's insecurities gradually impacting their relationship. This led to the couple breaking up and embarking on trial marriages with different partners on the show. Sandy went on to form a strong connection co-star star Jr Warren, who had been given an ultimatum by his girlfriend Zaina Sesay. Nick re-coupled with Vanessa but was left single when she left the show. In the end, Sandy and Nick moved back in together, but there was tension when Nick found it difficult to hear Sandy's intimate connection with JR. In the end. Nick decided not to propose, and the pair left the experiment single. The pair had a controversial journey – so how does Sandy reflect on the experience now? 'One of the most surprising things I learned about myself from going on 'The Ultimatum' is how calm and strong I can be through a highly chaotic and challenging time. I guess I never knew how far my strength could go until it was tested to new measures,' she told Lady Gunn. Yes! You can keep up to date with all things Sandy at her handle@sandy_gal.

Kelly Rowland And AJ McLean On Their Dream Bands

We all know the iconic Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child and superstar AJ McLean from the Backstreet Boys. C'mon, they are pop ROYALTY. We recently had the chance to chat with them for Netflix's Building the Band. The duo were genuine, lovely, and charismatic. My inner child was SCREAMING WITH EXCITEMENT. Building the Band is a unique competition show that brings together talented singers from all over the world to build the perfect band. The singers are in complete control of their own destiny as they listen and chat with the other singers, seeking to form their very own bands in individual 'booths' without ever seeing each other. It's all about chemistry. Its kind of like Love is Blind meets American Idol meets The Voice. The individual singers are literally building their own bands based on only hearing each others' voices and having conversations in their own 'booths'. The goal? To build the next great music band! AJ McLean is the host of the Building the Band and Kelly Rowland is a guest judge. Nicole Scherzinger is a mentor/judge and the late Liam Payne is a guest judge. Naturally, we just HAD to ask AJ and Kelly who they would put in their dream bands. And no, they weren't allowed to include their current or past band members. AJ said, "I'm going to say Bruno Mars and Ryan Tedder...I feel like we all kind of grew up on R&B, soul, pop. I think it would be a solid pop, R&B group." For Kelly, her dream band would be, "Roberta Flack and Lauryn Hill." "Oh good one!" added AJ in the background. For the full interview clip and what genre of band they'd be, watch here: Building The Band is streaming now on Netflix. I, for one, am completely hooked. From romance to murder mystery: Here's what is coming to Netflix in August

A new month means we are about to be treated to a slew of new content arriving on Netflix. From series and documentaries to romcoms and murder mystery movies, check out some of our top picks landing on the streaming giant this August. An ambitious American student travels to Oxford in England to fulfil her dream, but encounters a charming local who changes both their lives. My Oxford Year stars Sofia Carson, Corey Mylchreest, Dougray Scott, and Catherine McCormack. Perfect Match is taking the reality dating show and turning it on its head by inviting a number of well-known faces from other matchmaking series and seeing can this show help them find their true love. The couples who win the challenges are then given the chance to break up other couples and bring new singles into the mix, all while trying to find their own perfect match. The long-awaited second season of the hit series Wednesday is finally returning to our screens, with our young Addams now being joined at Nevermore by her brother, Pugsley. With new mysteries to unravel and a few loose ends to tie up, Wednesday is sure to come back to our screens with a bang. The first four episodes arrive in part one, with part two arriving in early September. This adult animated film really needs to be seen to be believed as this raunchy comedy is all about a dog getting his last 'thrill'. The official synopsis explains: 'After learning he's getting neutered, a dog has 24 hours to squeeze in one last balls-to-the-wall adventure with the boys.' With three Irish contestants in this year's mix, fans of the reality dating series will be glued to their screens for the second UK-based Love is Blind. For those unfamiliar with the show, Love is Blind sees 30 single men and women date in isolation pods, and form connections based solely on conversation. The only way they can meet face-to-face is if they get engaged, and then they move in together and start planning their wedding, ultimately deciding if they've really found the one or not before the big day. The Biggest Loser was one of the most popular reality competition series in the 00s, but the long-term effects have long been wondered about. This three-part documentary series examines the show's impact on contestants, exploring both the positive and negative consequences of its weight-loss approach and the intense scrutiny of reality TV filming. Starring Vanessa Kirby, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Zack Gottsagen, Stephen James, Randall Park, Julia Fox, Michael Kelly, and Eli Roth, Night Always Comes is a new crime thriller movie based on the 2021 novel of the same name. Facing eviction in a city her family can no longer afford, a woman plunges into a desperate and increasingly dangerous all-night search to raise $25,000. Hostage is a gripping five-part political thriller that stars and is executive-produced by Suranne Jones in her first collaboration with Netflix. When the British Prime Minister's husband is kidnapped and the visiting French President is blackmailed, the two political leaders both face unimaginable choices. Forced into a fierce rivalry where their political futures and lives might hang in the balance, can they work together to uncover the plot that threatens them both? One of the most anticipated films on the Netflix calendar for 2025 is the adaptation of the hit murder mystery series by Richard Osman. Starring Helen Mirren, Celia Imrie, Pierce Brosnan and Sir Ben Kingsley as the Thursday Murder Club's quartet, the group of retirees will see their casual sleuthing take a thrilling turn when they find themselves with a real whodunit on their hands. Unknown Number: The High School Catfish Pic: Netflix In this latest true-crime documentary, a teenage girl and her boyfriend become the targets of relentless harassment from an anonymous phone number. As authorities dig deeper, they uncover a secret that challenges everything they originally believed about the case.
