Netflix drops Wednesday season 2 trailer as Lady Gaga's absence puzzles fans
Netflix has released the full trailer for Wednesday season two, part two, which will see the return of Gwendoline Christie's Principal Larissa Weems. Netflix has just released the trailer for Wednesday season two, part two, offering a glimpse of the remaining episodes from the latest series. It comes after viewers were baffled by the fact there were only four episodes when it was first shown. The programme arrived earlier this month with Wednesday Addams (portrayed by Jenna Ortega) tackling a new mystery centred around the Willow Hill Asylum, deceased Outcasts, and killer crows. The preview reveals the return of Principal Larissa Weems (Gwendoline Christie) following Wednesday's awakening from her unconscious condition, as reported by the Mirror. In the clip, Weems smiles and declares: "Rise and shine sleepy head," whilst Wednesday attempts to work out why she's witnessing the former Nevermore headmistress, who died at the hands of Marilyn Thornhill/Laurel Gates (Christina Ricci), in the first season. Weems continues to clarify: "This isn't hell, but I understand the confusion", before stating: "Because I am your new spirit guide, surprise." Weems will now be mentoring Wednesday following the teenager's loss of her psychic powers along with Goody's book, which could have helped her in recovering them. Unfortunately for Wednesday, no one else can see Weems apart from her. Alongside Weems in the new expanded role Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan) remains at large and intends to eliminate both Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) and Wednesday. Tyler adopts a hooded disguise as he operates covertly and seems to be present at Nevermore. Nevertheless, a determined Wednesday promises Enid that she will sort out the Tyler situation. But her friend tells her: "Fix it? You're the reason he escaped." There's also a glimpse of the fundraising gala at Nevermore that Principal Dort (Steve Buscemi) has organised to bring in money for the school, plus a Tango between Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (Luis Guzmán). Wednesday later connects with Grandmama (Joanna Lumley) as they enjoy clay pigeon shooting, before Morticia joins the pair for a mystical crystal ball session. Morticia and Wednesday have a row as the teenage detective insists on learning the family's major secret, presumably questioning both her mum and grandmother about Aunt Ophelia, who's been absent for two decades. The preview concludes on a menacing note as a voiceover cautions: "There will be a price to pay." A headstone hints Wednesday could also meet her end if she's not careful. Christie hinted at her comeback before the trailer's release when she appeared at the Outcast Assembly event as part of the programme's Global Doom Tour. The Game of Thrones star stepped onto the platform as a recording of her voice was played. Fans heard the recording of Weems declaring: "Did you really think Nevermore would let me go so easily? I was never gone, you just stopped looking." The second instalment will also showcase an appearance from Lady Gaga, but the international pop sensation and performer hasn't featured in the trailer. Netflix has previously confirmed that Lady Gaga will portray the legendary Nevermore teacher, Rosaline Rotwood, who is set to cross paths with Wednesday. Although she was absent in the dream series, it's anticipated that she will make a grand entrance.

Wednesday season 2 part 2 trailer lands with huge star and it's not Lady Gaga
Fans will be left stunned at the surprise cast addition Netflix has just dropped the trailer for Wednesday season two, part two, teasing the remaining episodes from the recent run after fans were left confused over only getting four episodes and furiously speculating about the rest of the run. The show landed earlier this month with Wednesday Addams (played by Jenna Ortega) taking on a fresh mystery involving the Willow Hill Asylum, dead Outcasts, and murderous crows. The teaser sees the return of Principal Larissa Weems (Gwendoline Christie) after Wednesday wakes up from her comatose state. Weems grins and says: 'Rise and shine sleepy head,' as Wednesday tries to figure out why she is seeing former Nevermore's headteacher, who was killed off by Marilyn Thornhill/Laurel Gates (Christina Ricci) in season one. Weems goes on to explain: 'This isn't hell, but I understand the confusion', before adding: 'Because I am your new spirit guide, surprise.' READ MORE: Wednesday season 2 explains what happened to Christina Ricci's Laurel Gates after brutal bee attack Weems will now be guiding Wednesday after the teen lost her psychic abilities as well as Goody's book which would have helped her to regain them. Unfortunately, for Wednesday, only no one else can see Weems apart from her. Along with Weems in this new expanded role, Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan) is still out on the loose and plans to kill both Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) and Wednesday. Tyler dons a hooded cloak as he goes undercover and appears to be at Nevermore. Nonetheless, a defiant Wednesday vows to Enid that she will fix the Tyler situation. But her friend tells her: 'Fix it? You're the reason he escaped.' There's also a sneak peek at the gala at Nevermore that Principal Dort (Steve Buscemi) has thrown to raise funds for the school, as well as a Tango between Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez (Luis Guzmán). Wednesday later bonds with Grandmama (Joanna Lumley) as they go clay pigeon shooting, before Morticia joins the duo for a supernatural crystal ball reading. Morticia and Wednesday clash as the teen sleuth demands to know the family's big secret, presumably asking both her mother and grandmother about Aunt Ophelia, who's been missing for 20 years. The trailer ends on an ominous note as a voiceover warns: 'There will be a price to pay.' A gravestone suggests Wednesday could also be killed off if she's not careful. Christie teased her return prior to the trailer's drop when she turned up at the Outcast Assembly event as part of the show's Global Doom Tour. The Game of Thrones and Severance actress walked onto the stage as a recording of her voice played. Fans heard the recording of Weems saying: 'Did you really think Nevermore would let me go so easily? I was never gone, you just stopped looking.' The second part will also feature an appearance from Lady Gaga, but it looks like the global pop star and actress hasn't appeared in the trailer. Netflix previously confirmed Lady Gaga will play legendary Nevermore teacher Rosaline Rotwood, who will cross paths with Wednesday. Despite being a no-show in the dream series, it's likely she will be making a grand entrance.

‘Wednesday' S2: Who Is the Mystery Woman at the End of Part 1?
Wednesday season two part one has finally arrived on Netflix and while it has answered a lot of questions, such as who is Wednesday's stalker, it's also left us with some very pressing queries—namely, who is the mystery woman at the end of part one? During the fourth episode, Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) uncovers a secret operation taking part in Willow Hill. It's called LOIS and was set up by one of the former teachers of Nevermore Academy and now run by his daughter Judi Spannegel (Heather Matarazzo). Wednesday, along with the ever reliable Uncle Fester (Fred Armisen), head down the basement of Willow Hill, where they discover Judi has been keeping a number of Outcasts prisoners in order to conduct test on them and transfer their powers to Normies. Wednesday and Uncle Fester liberate the prisoners, and there's one woman who intrigues Wednesday and for whom she makes a special effort to escort out. Given the significance of these scenes it's likely this unknown woman is going to be a bigger characters in the next part of season two. But who is she? Here's all the theories we have so far. Throughout the season, Wednesday's Aunt Ophelia is mentioned a lot. She's the sister of Morticia and is a massive point of contention between Wednesday and her mother. As the season progresses we come to understand that Ophelia has been missing for the past 20 years and she shares a lot of similarities to Wednesday, including their shared psychic ability. Morticia frequently points out that just like her aunt, Wednesday is struggling to master her skills and Morticia is worried this could lead to the problems and breakdown that her sister faced. When the sisters were younger Ophelia pushed her psychic abilities too far and produced the same black tears Wednesday does and so her mother Hester (Joanna Lumley) sent her away to Willow Hill. But while the family assumes she is missing, could it be that she's actually been in the basement of Willow Hill all this time? There's a lot of clues to suggest so. Firstly, she's been missing for two decades. Maybe she hasn't been missing at all but in fact been kept prisoner, which is why she's never been seen or communicated with the family. We also know for sure that she was a patient at Willow Hill, with Uncle Fester also confessing to Wednesday Morticia had once asked him to break her out. However, he never did. Given how much emphasis the show has put on Aunt Ophelia as a character, the most likely explanation is she is the one who Wednesday finds and looks after at the end of season two part one. Another person some fans are theorizing the mystery woman is in fact Tyler's mother. During season one we learnt that Tyler (who is also a hyde) is the son of the Detective Galpin and Francoise Galpin, who was an outcast and a hyde. After giving birth to Tyler, Francoise went onto have postpartum depression which led to her hyde being released, and she was then locked up in Willow Hill. We're told that she then died in Willow Hill. However, now fans are theorizing that maybe she's more alive than previously thought. It's a very plausible theory given how much Detective Galpin was investigating LOIS. Perhaps he was suspicious of what happened to his wife all those years ago, and then when he got close to the truth that's why he was killed off by Judi and her crows. The series also puts a lot of emphasis on Tyler rejecting Miss Thornhill as a mother figure, with one of the final scenes between them being when Tyler says to her: 'You're not my mother, you're my master,' and maybe this is to open up the chance to reunite Tyler with his mother. There's also a small possibility that the mystery woman is neither of the characters, and is simply a red herring meant to throw the audience off. However, with everything being so intentionally thought out in Wednesday, we're doubtful she's a character who doesn't hold some significance to the overall plot. Wednesday season 2 part 1 is available on Netflix right now.

The most alluring beauty moments of Wednesday Season 2 come from the Addams matriarch
Here we woe again. At Nevermore Academy, class is back in session. The school break was longer than it usually is, but nothing works like it should in the world of Wednesday Addams. As we'll have it, our favourite chaos crew of Outcasts have come back for more mayhem and mystery, bringing back its returning rotation of characters, amid new additions. For Season 2 of Wednesday, Tim Burton expands his imaginary world, bringing back his seminal cast, of Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guizmán, Emma Myers and Hunter Doohan—so we can all expect bloodletting hours ahead as we binge through the first four episodes of the second season. To bring the full fantasy to life, a few facets have fallen into place. Like the incredible set of Nevermore, the eccentric characters and various types of species, and of course, the brilliant costuming and signature makeovers that have been done to transform the cast into their on-screen characters. Take Enid for example, which sees Myers adopt her signature rainbow-hued palette, but this time with a little more spunk and confidence—a showcase of how she's grown into her own after finally being able to 'wolf out' towards the ending of Season 1. Then there's Bianca high-shine pout, one she definitely carries from the first season, all the way through. Yet it is the matriarchs of the Addams family that have really stolen our attention. There's new face Joanna Lumley who plays Wednesday's grandmother Hester Frump, a mortuary mogul with just the right amount of gothic sass—in part delivered through her wispy, towering updo. Then there is Morticia Addams herself; a divine soul of the shadows, with her sleek, lengthy black tresses, stark dove-like mien and vampy lips. Behold, some of the best beauty looks from Wednesday Season 2 so far. Courtesy of Netflix 1 / 8 The queen of shadows Morticia Addams will reign. Her silky black tresses set against those utterly defined cheekbones casts her in a regality like no other. Courtesy of Netflix 2 / 8 Summer glow-up Post-school break and wolf camp, Enid returns to Nevermore that much more assured. That vivacious personality is going nowhere, and her signature rainbow-streaked blonde mane returns with a little more curls and bounce in them. Between her colourful manicure do and her inner eye corners enlivened with a magenta hue, there's nothing that's stopping her from being Wednesday's ultimate side-kick again. Courtesy of Netflix 3 / 8 A throne of gray The real besties of the show? Wednesday Addams and her grandmother, Hester Frump. Bonding with Wednesday over all things morbid and macabre, she is the very epitome of Outcast wisdom, wearing her years in a wispy, gravity-defying mane—pulled back and sculpted to reveal her own signature lip, a darker matted plum compared to the sharp, vampy lip of her own daughter, Morticia. Courtesy of Netflix 4 / 8 Like mother, like daughter As she watches over her daughter, Morticia takes on the idea of camping out in the woods in style, bringing out her own brand of gothic. Top hat in tow, she pairs her motherly countenance with a pair of braids, much like the one that's become a signature of her daughter's. Courtesy of Netflix 5 / 8 The darkness awaits As for the star of the show? Still allergic to most colours, she defines her eye line with dark shadows and wears a deep purple pout—still a far way from her own mother's defined hue. Courtesy of Netflix 6 / 8 Hypnotic siren Bianca Barclay is still very much in the know when it comes to what goes down at Nevermore, and the siren shows exactly how she can enchant the crowd with her signature blue eyes and high-shine pout. Courtesy of Netflix 7 / 8 Vampy close-up Her sharp vampy lip a stark contrast to her pale mien, it's her dark shadows that really steal the show, with her lengthy, volumised lashes. Courtesy of Netflix 8 / 8 Not quite an Addams Wednesday has some major fans (and stalkers) ever since saving Nevermore, and Agnes wears it on her sleeve with her copycat braids. Yet her micro bangs are an auto tell, as she keeps the rest of her countenance kept minimal and natural.
