Rising hot stars Harissa Adlynn and Daniel Fong lead the way for Astro's hotly anticipated new drama 'Kerana Seorang Lelaki'

Get prepared for another emotional and riveting roller-coaster local drama filled with twists and plots as the highly-anticipated "Kerana Seorang Lelaki" makes its way into the much-followed Tiara slot in Astro Prima's channel 105 from Aug 11. Led by two young stars, Harissa Adlynn and Daniel Fong, the drama depicts the consequences when a husband's highly guarded secret is revealed, pitting two families with different cultures and opposing views against each other over wealth and financial issues. For the record, the show will air from Monday to Friday and is expected to run for 40 episodes. Astro's top slot in the Prima channel has seen many top dramas being shown here and also scooping up top awards in the past. The drama sees the reunion of the audience's favourite couple from "Beautiful Love Revenge", Harissa Adlynn and Daniel Fong, who are entangled in a forbidden love story this time. They are ably supported by two influential female personas, veteran actress Marissa Yasmin and the elegant Soo Wincci, who play mothers from two different family backgrounds, but are bound by their love for the same man. Helmed by renowned director Michael Ang and produced by Darkwave Pictures, this drama also sees the debut of So Wincci as the main antagonist in the Astro Prima channel. The conflict begins with the sudden death of Richard Wong (played by Steve Yap), a corporate figure who apparently lives a secret life with two families who don't even know each other. The existence of two wives and children from different marriages sparks a clash between Madame Clarissa (Dr Soo Wincci), a high-status and assertive woman, and Puan Linda (Marissa Yasmin), a caring mother from a humble life. This clash of two worlds leads to a struggle for wealth, power, and affection, including a tragic love story between two children who actually share a blood relationship. Also starring are Arena Wan, Kahoe, Aiman Ameer and Nabil Aqil, completing the line-up of new and experienced actors who will bring the conflict and deep emotions to life in this drama. According to Norzeha Mohd Salleh, Head of Astro Malay Channels, ''Kerana Seorang Lelaki' takes viewers on a heart-wrenching story about a love gone wrong, a disputed inheritance, and two families at war over a man's secret past. "In a world divided by rank and power, two women rise not just to defend their rights, but also the dignity and future of their children. This script challenges the question of who is worthy of love, inheritance, and trust, making it a drama that not only entertains but also invites the audience to get into the characters' roles. "'Kerana Seorang Lelaki' is also not just a story of ordinary family conflict; it highlights real-life issues such as social gaps, religion, the importance of maintaining lineage, destructive greed, and the struggles of women in a world that often marginalises them. The female characters in this script are portrayed as brave, complex, manipulative, yet emotional, reflecting the real challenges that many women face today." Amid this conflict between the two mothers, their children, Kasih and Daniel, who were once a couple, without knowing they were siblings, become victims of family intrigue. Tensions escalate when Richard's will sees his company's empire being handed to, Kaseh and Daniel, sparking an inheritance battle that ignites the hatred of two worlds. AXA to acquire 51% stake in Italian direct insurer Prima

French insurer AXA has agreed to acquire a 51% share of Prima, a direct insurance provider in Italy, for €500m ($578m), strengthening motor insurance operations in the country. The transaction includes provisions for call/put options pertaining to the remaining 49% of Prima, which will be subject to an exercise price correlated with the company's financial performance. As a managing general agent, Prima operates a proprietary technology platform to distribute its products via various channels including price comparison websites, its own website and a network of more than 1,500 affiliated agents. In fiscal year 2024, Prima reported gross written premiums totalling €1.2bn within Italy. The company operates with a workforce exceeding 1,200 individuals and has established offices in key cities such as Milan, Rome, London and Madrid. Prima CEO George Ottathycal stated: 'We are delighted to become part of the Axa Group. Axa strongly believes in our strategic plan and will provide assets and expertise which will enable Prima to further unlock its potential, leveraging expertise with a leading global insurance Group." AXA's direct distribution segment generated €3.5bn in premiums across multiple geographies in 2024. The move is expected to enhance AXA's direct distribution capabilities in Europe, leveraging Prima's digital infrastructure and expertise. AXA European Markets & Health CEO Patrick Cohen said: 'We are excited to announce the acquisition of Prima, which will not only significantly enhance our position in the Italian P&C [property and casualty] market but also bring capabilities to strengthen our direct business in European markets." The deal is set to conclude by the end of 2025, subject to standard closing conditions and regulatory consents. Upon the deal's completion, existing investors Blackstone, Goldman Sachs and Carlyle will relinquish their investments in Prima, with Neurone continuing to maintain its position as a key shareholder in the company. AXA recently won a London court case against Santander, securing a £680m (€781.53m) ruling for mis-sold payment protection insurance policies. These policies, underwritten by two companies AXA acquired from Genworth in 2015, were originally sold by a company Santander bought in 2009. Strictly's Dianne Buswell shares 'right time' update about baby plans with boyfriend Joe Sugg

Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg have been a couple since they competed on Strictly Come Dancing together in 2018, and the loved-up pair have often spoken about their future together Dianne Buswell has delivered a six-word update regarding her baby plans with boyfriend Joe Sugg. The smitten duo have been romantically linked since they linked up on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018. ‌ The pair reached the competition's finale, though Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton ultimately claimed the coveted Glitterball Trophy. Yet once the series wrapped, Dianne reveals she and Joe, 33, discovered they yearned for each other's company. ‌ Romance quickly flourished between them, before they moved in together the following year. By 2021, they had purchased their own property together. ‌ This progression has sparked fan speculation about potential nuptials and even the possibility of expanding their family. Dianne has previously mentioned the couple are "playing their marriage by ear". The 36 year old has now provided an insight into the duo's family aspirations during a chat with Prima magazine, revealing: "We've always wanted kids, it's just finding the right time," reports Wales Online. ‌ "I don't feel worried about taking time out from dancing, I just don't see the point in worrying. When everything aligns, it will happen. I have to have that vision. I like to practise manifestation, I'm quite spiritual." Previously, Dianne disclosed that whilst she meticulously organises her professional life, she adopts a more relaxed approach to her romantic future with Joe. She confessed: "I plan my work a lot, but that's probably as far as I go with planning. I'm quite an unorganised person actually. "Joe and I don't really talk about that kind of thing. We're both so relaxed so we just play it by ear. We really enjoy each other's company so much and whatever happens, happens." ‌ The Aussie dancer has been dropping hints to Joe about her readiness to tie the knot. This comes after Chris McCausland, who triumphed on Strictly with Dianne last year, made a cheeky yet pointed remark regarding her ring finger. In a chat about fingers, Dianne gestured to her ring finger and quizzed: "What's that one, your best friend finger?" which prompted Chris to jest: "It's the one Joe's done nothing with." Dianne agreed with a playful retort: "Exactly, we need to remind Joe what that finger holds. That finger is feeling very lonely, it needs something to weigh it down with." Dianne has also been candid about her and Joe's plans for a family in the future. In an interview in 2022, she mentioned they plan to start a family 'when it feels right', signalling they're not rushing to grow their romance into a larger family just yet. Joe, the younger brother of famed YouTuber Zoe Sugg, was 27 when he first crossed paths with Dianne and has confessed she's his first "proper girlfriend". Speaking openly with The Sunday Times in 2021, Joe shared: "Dianne is my first girlfriend. Other than, like, my penpal from when I was 10."
