Strictly's Dianne Buswell shares 'right time' update about baby plans with boyfriend Joe Sugg
Dianne Buswell has delivered a six-word update regarding her baby plans with boyfriend Joe Sugg. The smitten duo have been romantically linked since they linked up on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018.
The pair reached the competition's finale, though Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton ultimately claimed the coveted Glitterball Trophy. Yet once the series wrapped, Dianne reveals she and Joe, 33, discovered they yearned for each other's company.
Romance quickly flourished between them, before they moved in together the following year. By 2021, they had purchased their own property together.
This progression has sparked fan speculation about potential nuptials and even the possibility of expanding their family. Dianne has previously mentioned the couple are "playing their marriage by ear".
The 36 year old has now provided an insight into the duo's family aspirations during a chat with Prima magazine, revealing: "We've always wanted kids, it's just finding the right time," reports Wales Online.
"I don't feel worried about taking time out from dancing, I just don't see the point in worrying. When everything aligns, it will happen. I have to have that vision. I like to practise manifestation, I'm quite spiritual."
Previously, Dianne disclosed that whilst she meticulously organises her professional life, she adopts a more relaxed approach to her romantic future with Joe. She confessed: "I plan my work a lot, but that's probably as far as I go with planning. I'm quite an unorganised person actually.
"Joe and I don't really talk about that kind of thing. We're both so relaxed so we just play it by ear. We really enjoy each other's company so much and whatever happens, happens."
The Aussie dancer has been dropping hints to Joe about her readiness to tie the knot. This comes after Chris McCausland, who triumphed on Strictly with Dianne last year, made a cheeky yet pointed remark regarding her ring finger.
In a chat about fingers, Dianne gestured to her ring finger and quizzed: "What's that one, your best friend finger?" which prompted Chris to jest: "It's the one Joe's done nothing with."
Dianne agreed with a playful retort: "Exactly, we need to remind Joe what that finger holds. That finger is feeling very lonely, it needs something to weigh it down with."
Dianne has also been candid about her and Joe's plans for a family in the future. In an interview in 2022, she mentioned they plan to start a family 'when it feels right', signalling they're not rushing to grow their romance into a larger family just yet.
Joe, the younger brother of famed YouTuber Zoe Sugg, was 27 when he first crossed paths with Dianne and has confessed she's his first "proper girlfriend". Speaking openly with The Sunday Times in 2021, Joe shared: "Dianne is my first girlfriend. Other than, like, my penpal from when I was 10."

The One Show host Alex Jones confirmed the return of her co-host after a lengthy absence from the BBC programme. Alex Jones has disclosed that one of her previous co-presenters is making a comeback to The One Show next week. At the end of Friday's (August 1) programme, the Welsh host, who recently provided an update to her followers, i nformed BBC audiences that Ronan Keating was returning to the iconic green sofa following an extended absence.
