SHOWBIZ: American artiste Jared Leto accused of sexual impropriety by 9 women
LOS ANGELES: Nine women have come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against actor and musician Jared Leto, describing his behaviour as "predatory, terrifying, and unacceptable," according to a recent investigative report published by Air Mail. The report details accounts spanning years, with multiple women accusing the 53-year-old of inappropriate behaviour, including sexually suggestive communication with minors and unwelcome advances. One woman told Air Mail that in 2006, when she was 16, Leto approached her outside a Los Angeles café. He was sitting with then-19-year-old actress Ashley Olsen at the time. The woman claimed Leto grabbed her arm and initiated a brief conversation before asking for her phone number. "He called a few days later," she recalled. "I don't know if he was on drugs or what… It was the weirdest, grossest voice… [But] for me, it's Jared, you know?" She said Leto invited her to a party at his house, but she declined. Despite her refusal, she claimed he continued calling her late at night. "The conversations turned sexual. He'd ask things like: 'Have you ever had a boyfriend?'" Model Laura La Rue recounted a similar encounter from 2008, when she was also 16. At a private event in Beverly Hills, she said Leto watched her "so intensely" that it made her uncomfortable. Another woman said she began texting with Leto while underage. During visits to his home, she claimed he asked her sexually inappropriate questions. Allie Teilz, a DJ and music producer based in Los Angeles, resurfaced a 2012 Facebook post via Instagram last month in which she wrote: "You're not really in LA until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage… In a kilt.. And a snow hat," Air Mail reported. A representative for Leto has "expressly denied" the various women's accusations reported in Air Mail, including Teilz's, which the representative said were "demonstrably false". Leto himself has yet to comment on the allegations. The frontman of the rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2014 for his work in the biographical drama, Dallas Buyers Club. His other acting credits include House of Gucci, Blade Runner 2049, Morbius, and Fight Club.

After Jared Leto's sexual misconduct allegations, Disney faces backlash over Tron: Ares casting: 'Beyond stupid'
Jared Leto, the Oscar-winning actor and lead singer of Thirty Seconds to Mars, is facing serious allegations of sexual misconduct, with a new report detailing claims from at least nine women. The report has now brought back attention to Leto's past behaviour with resurfaced online claims that he leads an 'island cult.' With social media erupting over the details, Leto's upcoming film Tron: Ares with Disney is now also under public scrutiny. New investigation reveals multiple allegations against Jared Leto According to Airmail, the women interviewed described a pattern of inappropriate conduct spanning years, with some alleging they were underage at the time. The publication states that the claims include Leto allegedly exposing himself to a 17-year-old, engaging in sexual behaviour with an 18-year-old, and asking inappropriate questions to girls as young as 16. Leto, 53, has denied all accusations through his representatives. In response to the Airmail report, his team stated that there had been no misconduct, inappropriate communication, or recruitment. They also emphasised that Leto has been sober for over 35 years and that claims suggesting otherwise are 'demonstrably false.' Victims speak out about alleged inappropriate behaviour, repeated contact, and disturbing encounters One of the accusers, a former model who was 16 in 2008, told Airmail that she met Leto at an animal rights event and later visited his studio, where she claims he flirted and appeared nude. Leto's representative said she had applied to be his personal assistant—an assertion she denies. Another woman, also 16 at the time, claimed that after a brief meeting at a Los Angeles cafe, Leto began calling her late at night. She told Airmail that he repeatedly contacted her for weeks, and the calls turned sexually suggestive. A third woman alleged that Leto began asking her sexual questions when she was still underage. After she turned 18, she claims he exposed himself, masturbated in front of her, and forced her to touch him. She also stated that she was not the youngest girl at his parties, some of which allegedly encouraged underage guests to skinny-dip—though a promoter who helped organise those events told Airmail he never witnessed such behaviour. These testimonies came to light shortly after a DJ reposted a 2012 Facebook status on Instagram last month, where she accused Leto of acting inappropriately when she was 17. She described his actions as predatory. After going public, she shared over 50 responses from other individuals claiming to have had similar experiences, some reportedly as young as 14 to 16 at the time of their encounters with the actor. Jared Leto's island cult allegations resurface Amid the resurfaced sexual misconduct claims, rumours about Jared Leto leading an 'island cult' have resurfaced online, fueled by photos from his past Mars Island retreats with fans. While the events were marketed as immersive music experiences, some have long described the atmosphere as cult-like. it's been known for several years now that Jared Leto has a weird island sex cult, but he's only now getting allegations? Jared Leto has a long list allegations of rape, sexual coercion, and sex with minors, yet went on to start in Morbius and other countless films. And not to mention he has a cult on some island Oh no, Jared Leto got accused of sexual misconduct?? I can't believe it! He seems so normal usually! Pic unrelated. Tron: Ares and Disney face heat for casting Leto As the backlash grows, Disney is being widely criticized for moving forward with Tron: Ares, in which Leto plays the lead role. While the studio has not commented on the allegations, fans have been voicing concerns online about the decision to continue working with the actor, pointing out that the claims surrounding him have circulated for years. Disney was beyond stupid for casting Jared Leto in Tron Ares. Movie is coming out at the end of the year and now who knows what they are going to do. The film is part of a major franchise revival, and public pressure is building for Disney to reevaluate its association with Leto in light of the serious accusations. As the controversy around Jared Leto deepens, an old tweet from Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has resurfaced—and it's only adding fuel to the fire. James Gunn's old tweet resurfaces, sparking fresh questions. Back in 2018, actor Dylan Sprouse had tweeted a sharp jab at Leto, saying, 'Yo @JaredLeto, now that you've slid into the DMs of every female model aged 18–25, what would you say your success rate is?' Gunn replied with a pointed and sarcastic follow-up: 'He starts at 18 on the internet?' like these are pretty high profile people! even crazier when you remember marvel fired james gunn and cast jared leto in a small timeframe The tweet, which many now view as a veiled accusation, is going viral again. And fans are wondering if this was an open secret in Hollywood all along. Gunn deleted the tweet years ago, but screenshots are flooding social media once more, especially as more women step forward with claims against Leto.

Jared Leto Denies Sexual Misconduct Allegations After Nine Women Come Forward in New Exposé
Jared Leto is facing serious allegations of sexual misconduct from nine women, according to a bombshell exposé published Friday by Air Mail. The claims span years and include accusations from women who say they were underage at the time of their encounters with the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman. A representative for Leto has denied all allegations. The accusations recently resurfaced after Los Angeles-based DJ Allie Teilz reposted an old Facebook status to her Instagram Story, writing: 'Youre [sic] not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage… In a kilt.. And a snow hat.' She added: 'I was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was 17.' Teilz followed up with a second post, stating: 'He knew my age and didn't care. What he did was predatory, terrifying and unacceptable.' Among the other accounts shared in Air Mail, one woman said that 'it's been an open secret for a long time' that Leto was known to text teenage models. Another alleged that she was just 16 when she met him in 2006. According to her, Leto obtained her phone number and began calling her late at night, making sexual comments. When the woman speculated he may have been using drugs at the time, a spokesperson for Leto pushed back, saying: 'He has not had a drink or used drugs in over 35 years.' Laura La Rue, a model who also said she was 16 when she first encountered Leto, described a similar experience. She claimed he invited her to visit him at his music studio. In response, Leto's team said: 'Their communications contain nothing sexual or inappropriate,' and further stated that 'Ms. La Rue later applied to work as Mr. Leto's personal assistant, further underscoring the absence of anything inappropriate in any of their interactions.' According to Air Mail, La Rue denied ever applying for the job. Another accuser told the publication she began texting with Leto while still underage, and that his behavior intensified after she turned 18. She claimed that during a visit to his home, he began masturbating in front of her. 'All of the allegations are expressly denied,' Leto's representative told Air Mail. Leto rose to fame in the mid-1990s as Jordan Catalano on the cult hit My So-Called Life before earning accolades for roles in Requiem for a Dream (2000), Dallas Buyers Club (2013), and Suicide Squad (2016). Outside of acting, he's found success as the frontman of Thirty Seconds to Mars, which he co-founded with his brother in 1998. Known for his commitment to method acting, Leto sparked controversy with his approach to playing the Joker in Suicide Squad. He once told E! he tried to 'create an element of spontaneity' on set by sending castmates strange items—including 'used condoms' and 'anal beads.' The cast included Margot Robbie and Cara Delevingne. However, Leto later walked back those comments in 2016, clarifying: '99.9 per cent of what people read is bulls*. There were no used condoms.' The scrutiny around Leto's behavior has circulated online for years. In 2018, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody actor Dylan Sprouse tweeted: 'Yo @JaredLeto now that you've slid into the DMs of every female model aged 18–25, what would you say your success rate is?' James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy, replied with a jab of his own: 'He starts at 18 on the internet?'

9 Women Accuse Jared Leto of Sexual Misconduct: Know Full Timeline of Allegations Involving Underage Girls
Trigger Warning: This article includes references to s*xual assault. On Saturday, June 7, Air Mail published a detailed report in which nine women accused actor and musician Jared Leto of inappropriate and, in some cases, s*xual behavior. The report outlines allegations that date back to the early 2000s, including claims that Leto targeted girls who were underage at the time. The Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman has expressly denied all the accusations through a representative. He has not issued a personal public statement. What are the allegations against Jared Leto? Several women alleged that Jared Leto's behavior followed a pattern that had been long-standing. Some say they were teenagers when they first encountered the Oscar-winning actor. One woman, who was 16 in 2008, said she met Leto at Urth Caffé in Los Angeles. "He got my number," she said, and later called her at night "with the weirdest, grossest voice. I don't know if he was on drugs." She added: "The conversations turned s*xual. He'd ask things like, 'Have you ever had a boyfriend? Have you ever sucked a d---?'" Her mother said she overheard one of the calls. Another woman claimed she met Leto at a party at his home in the 2000s when she was 18. She said she was not the youngest person there and claimed the event focused on getting girls to skinny dip. Leto's team denied any such activities, and nightlife promoter Brent Bolthouse told Air Mail he never saw anyone skinny-dipping. Here's what Laura La Rue said about Jared Leto Model Laura La Rue said she was 16 when she met Leto at an animal rights event in 2008. They later exchanged emails, and she visited his studio in 2009. She said Leto flirted with her and teased her during the visit. During another visit when she was 17, La Rue alleged Leto walked out nude. "I thought maybe this was just what adult men do," she told Air Mail. Leto's representative stated that their communication was not s*xual and claimed La Rue applied to work for him as a personal assistant. La Rue denied applying for the job. In May, DJ and music producer Allie Teilz reposted a 2012 Facebook status saying: "You're not really in L.A. until Jared Leto tries to force himself on you backstage…In a kilt…And a snow hat." She added in Instagram Stories: "I was assaulted and traumatized by this creep when I was 17…He knew my age and didn't care. What he did was predatory, terrifying, and unacceptable." Leto's representative said Teilz's claims are demonstrably false. Another woman said she began texting Leto while underage. When she was 18, she visited his house and claimed Leto suddenly pulled his p*nis out and started mast*rbating, then placed her hand on him and asked her to spit on it. Another woman said Leto approached her at a café in 2006 when she was 16. He was sitting with Ashley Olsen, then 19 years old. She said he grabbed her arm, and they had a brief conversation, after which he got her number. Leto allegedly invited her to a party, which she declined, but said he continued to call her late at night. So far, Jared Leto has not personally addressed the claims. His representative has denied all allegations, saying the actor has not used drugs or alcohol in over 35 years and that the claims lack merit.

Jared Leto faces sexual misconduct allegations from multiple women
Washington [US], June 8 (ANI): Jared Leto, the Oscar-winning actor and frontman of the rock band 'Thirty Seconds to Mars', is facing serious allegations of sexual misconduct from multiple women, some of whom claim they were underage when the incidents occurred. As per reports obtained by People magazine, in an interview, nine women described troubling interactions with the 53-year-old actor. The accounts span over a decade and outline what some allege to be a long-standing pattern of predatory behaviour. Among the accusations, women claim Leto exposed himself, asked sexually explicit questions, and initiated inappropriate contact, sometimes when they were just teenagers. One woman told in the interview, "It's been an open secret for a long time," referring to Leto's alleged behaviour, as quoted by People magazine. According to People magazine, a representative for Leto "expressly denied all allegations" in a statement to the publication in response. One accuser, model Laura La Rue, said she first met Leto at an animal rights event in 2008 when she was 16. After maintaining email contact, she visited his studio in 2009 and alleged that he flirted with her and once emerged naked from a room, as if it were completely ordinary behaviour. "I thought maybe this was just what adult men do," she reflected, as quoted by People magazine. While a representative for Leto claims there was "nothing sexual or inappropriate" in their exchanges and that La Rue even applied to be his assistant, a claim she denies, La Rue insists her experiences were unsettling. Another woman recounted meeting Leto when she was 16 at a cafe in Los Angeles. She alleged that he called her at night, using what she described as a disturbing and sexually charged tone. "He changed his voice, the way he talked. It scared me," she said, adding that he asked invasive questions about her sexual experience. Her mother reportedly overheard the conversations and corroborated her account to the outlet, as per People magazine. Several women allege similar behaviour, including one who claims that during a visit to Leto's home when she was 18, he exposed himself and began masturbating. One woman who attended a party at Leto's home in the early 2000s said she was 18 at the time and observed what she believed was a deliberate effort to encourage young women to skinny dip. "I was definitely not the youngest person there," she said, as quoted by People magazine. A representative for Leto dismissed the allegation, asserting that "there was never any recruiting, complaints or impropriety." Brent Bolthouse, a nightlife promoter who organised events at Leto's residence, said he "never saw anyone skinny-dipping." The allegations gained renewed attention last month when DJ Allie Teilz referenced her own experience on social media, saying she was "assaulted and traumatised by this creep when I was 17," as quoted by People magazine. Leto's team has labelled her accusation as "demonstrably false." As per People magazine, no criminal charges have been filed as of now. (ANI)
