Eric Bana's 'Untamed' gets renewed for second season after smashing hit; co-creators guarantee even tougher challenges
Eric Bana, the 'Troy' actor, will soon be reprising his role as Kyle Turner in 'Untamed' for the second season. The critically acclaimed series had climbed the Top 10 ladder quickly after its release on July 17, and the new season is expected to turn up a notch for the thrills and challenges of the ISB agent. Eric Bana will return for 'Untamed' season 2 Bana's Turner, who works to enforce human law in nature's vast wilderness, will not be in his comfort zone, unlike the first season, where he knew his land. 'I am absolutely thrilled that we get the chance to bring another season of Untamed to life. The response to Season 1 has been a testament to the incredible effort by our crew to deliver something truly unique. I can't wait to take Kyle on his next journey,' the 56-year-old actor said to Netflix 's Tudum. At the finale of season 1, Kyle distanced himself from Yosemite after experiencing one of the hardest cases of his career that took a toll on him, mentally and physically. The co-creator, Mark L. Smith, said that Kyle would be back on his feet, and they would be making him go through quite uncomfortable situations. The details about the upcoming season 'Each national park has such a different cultural identity, geographical identity. Being able to explore those places through the case and through Turner's journey is what's so fascinating,' Elle Smith, the co-creator, said, dropping the crumbs that the landscape will be tougher and will be incorporated into storytelling to increase the risk factor. The return of the cast is not confirmed by the team, as they are considering changing the cast with respect to the locations. However, the season 1 cast is adored by the fans as well as the creators, including Sam Neill, Rosemarie DeWitt, Lily Santiago, Wilson Bethel, Raoul Max Trujillo, William Smillie, Joe Holt, and Josh Randall, according to Variety.

Midsomer Murders mystery over 'missing' new episodes as fan favourite takes on new role
Midsomer Murders' theatre show might soon be getting underway but fans have been left puzzled by a set of 'missing' episodes that are yet to air on ITV Midsomer Murders fans have been left puzzled over a string of 'missing' episodes. A new version of the hit ITV drama is now in the works, with a stage show seeing a former star take on the lead role. Daniel Casey - who played young Troy in the first series of the hit ITV show alongside John Nettles, who played DCI Barnaby - will now take on the role of Barnaby in a special UK tour of Midsomer Murders: The Killings at Badger's Drift. Speaking about his new role, Daniel said: "I never expected to revisit the world of Midsomer, with its weird and wonderful characters and all their dark, twisted secrets. So to be asked to play the iconic role of Detective Chief Inspector Barnaby in this new stage adaptation of The Killings at Badger's Drift was a real surprise. Workshopping the play, you realise the characters have an inherent theatricality, which is perfect to bring to the stage. "It has brought back some wonderful memories of such a happy time in my career playing Sergeant Troy and the fantastic time I had working with the amazing John Nettles and to be stepping into his shoes as Barnaby is both a little daunting and incredibly exciting." John also had his say on his former second-in-command taking on the lead role. "How wonderful that the original tale of murder and intrigue in Midsomer will be solved by Daniel, in this new stage version of Badger's Drift. Daniel brought the young Troy to life so brilliantly in the original TV pilot of the book and I'm delighted that he gets to lead the investigation in this theatre adaption," he said of the new part for his former sergeant. "He has a fabulous track record in his stage work – and had a marvellous DCI to teach him the detecting ropes, back in the day!" Ahead of the stage show, fans have been desperate to find out when the programme will be back on ITV. It has aired sporadically as of late, owing to TV schedules and changes. There had also been fears that the show might have been axed. However, the 24th series has been confirmed for ITV eventually, with the four-episode line-up already airing abroad. Kicking off with The Devil's Work, the synopsis reads: "The demise of the Shirewell patriarch sparks a vicious inheritance dispute when eldest son Lucian announces plans to break up an estate that's been in his family for centuries." Following that, there will be Book Of The Dead, Claws Out and A Climate Of Death.

Alabama football 2025 season preview, predictions: Brody Dalton
During the spring transfer portal window, there simply was not much action from the Alabama Crimson Tide. Not only did Alabama not lose anyone to the portal, but the Crimson Tide also added only two transfers during the window as well, both of which were tight ends. One of those two was Brody Dalton, a transfer addition from within the state of Alabama where he played previously at Troy, and brings a significant amount of collegiate experience to the Crimson Tide's tight end room. Let's take a look at everything you need to know about Alabama's newest tight end, Brody Dalton, entering the 2025 season. Brody Dalton player information Brody Dalton career stats Dalton will be entering his fifth season of college football in 2025, having previously played collegiately at both UAB and Troy from 2021-24. Over those four seasons, Dalton has hauled in a combined 24 receptions for 339 yards and three touchdowns, a majority of which came the last two years while at Troy. Brody Dalton 2024 stats Dalton is coming off a breakout 2024 campaign in which he posted multiple career-high's statistically at Troy. With the Trojans, Dalton had a career-high 15 receptions for 188 yards and three touchdowns. Brody Dalton recruiting ranking Coming out of high school, Dalton was considered as the nation's No. 2,275 overall player in the 2021 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Committed to UAB, Dalton, a three-star prospect, was also rated the nation's No. 121 overall tight end, as well as the No. 100 player in the state of Alabama where he attended Fyffe High School. Prior to Alabama, Dalton was considered as the nation's No. 396 overall player in the transfer portal from this past offseason, according to 247Sports. Dalton, who committed to Alabama in April 2025, was also considered a three-star prospect, as well as the No. 19 overall tight end. Brody Dalton 2025 season outlook A position group that is loaded with options, it feels likely that Dalton plays a role for the Crimson Tide at some point in 2025. However, as to what that role is currently likely comes as an unknown, as both Josh Cuevas and Danny Lewis Jr. are at the moment expected to start, while others such as Kaleb Edwards are other options. Based on his experience though, it feels likely that Dalton will see time for the Crimson Tide this season, potentially coming in a notable role as both a pass catcher and blocker. Overall, expect Dalton to play a role in some form for the Crimson Tide this fall, providing depth and experience. Aurum strikes 7.5-gold ounce dirt in West African ground
Aurum Resources has reported exceptional recent results from ongoing exploration diamond drilling at the company's Boundiali gold project in Côte d'Ivoire, where it holds an 80 per cent interest in the BM tenement. The company has completed 23 diamond core holes totalling 5728.9 metres of drilling at its BM Target 3 deposit within Boundiali. The program has yielded more high-grade gold intercepts, including a best hole delivering 4.2m at 80.64 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 107m depth, including 2.9m at 116.66g/t gold and 1.43m at an astonishing 234.35g/t gold. A separate run intercepted 5.66m at 6.99g/t gold from 121m. A 234.35g/t gold grade equates to more than 7.5 Troy ounces of gold per tonne. A second-best hole intercepted 13m at 2.18g/t gold from 40m, including 5m at 3.39g/t gold. A third-best hole in the current assays cored through 3m at 4.32g/t gold from 332m, including 1m at 8.88g/t gold. 'It is my pleasure to announce further shallow high-grade gold intercepts at the Boundiali project, including 234.35 g/t gold over 1.43m within 80.46 g/t gold over 4.2m from 107m.' Aurum Resources managing director Dr Caigen Wang All depths are downhole dimensions. The true widths are estimated to be between 60–80 per cent of the downhole lengths. The latest results further strengthen the overall highly prospective indications gained from a growing body of recent drilling results. These now include 17 selected holes with hot intercepts such as 3m at 50.56g/t gold from 124m, including 1m at 150.5g/t gold, a long run of 29m at 1.55g/t from 178m, including 13m at 2.19g/t gold, and a separate hole which nailed 1.19m at an eye-watering 277.54g/t gold from 31m. The last results equate to 8.9 ounces per tonne. Aurum Resources managing director Dr Caigen Wang said: 'It is my pleasure to announce further shallow high-grade gold intercepts at the Boundiali project, including 234.35 g/t gold over 1.43m within 80.46 g/t gold over 4.2m from 107m. This intercept, located 70m west and 100m down dip from a 230m-long artisanal open pit, was from drilling targeting extensions of known mineralisation in the current BMT3 MRE.'
