Alabama football 2025 season preview, predictions: Brody Dalton
Not only did Alabama not lose anyone to the portal, but the Crimson Tide also added only two transfers during the window as well, both of which were tight ends.
One of those two was Brody Dalton, a transfer addition from within the state of Alabama where he played previously at Troy, and brings a significant amount of collegiate experience to the Crimson Tide's tight end room.

Committed to UAB, Dalton, a three-star prospect, was also rated the nation's No. 121 overall tight end, as well as the No. 100 player in the state of Alabama where he attended Fyffe High School.
Prior to Alabama, Dalton was considered as the nation's No. 396 overall player in the transfer portal from this past offseason, according to 247Sports. Dalton, who committed to Alabama in April 2025, was also considered a three-star prospect, as well as the No. 19 overall tight end.
