If these Google Pixel 10 leaked prices are correct, I'll be impressed when it launches

Looking forward to Google's flagship upcoming phone for 2025? There's a lot to look forward to, with rumours suggesting a big update to the chipset, some huge camera upgrades, and potentially all-new sensors. But the best part? It looks like you might be able to get the Pixel 10 series for the same price as the Pixel 9 line-up – and I'll be mightily impressed if this turns out to be the case. Read more: Best phones to buy in 2025 reviewed and ranked Now, this isn't anything we haven't seen before. But in a year where Apple's likely sharpening its price hike sword, Google's restraint is… well, impressive. This latest report comes from WinFuture's Roland Quandt, and details alleged prices for all Pixel 10 models. According to Quandt, the Pixel 10 will retail for €899 (likely $799/£799), starting at 128GB. The Pixel 10 Pro will begin at €1099 (likely $999/£999) for the same storage, while the Pro XL jumps to €1299 (likely $1199/£1199), but now starts at 256GB. And if you're in the market for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, expect to fork over €1899 (likely $1799/£1749) – again, for 256 GB. Quandt only shared the Euro prices, but I've added in other currencies since it's the exact same pricing playbook as last year's Pixel 9 line-up. Google's also expected to introduce a range of new colours. The base Pixel 10 will get its usual playful line-up with Obsidian, Frost, Indigo and Lemongrass. Meanwhile, the Pro models are expected to lean more minimalist with Obsidian, Porcelain, Moonstone, and Jade. The 1TB models will allegedly stick to Obsidian… for some reason. While I appreciate the lack of a price bump, there's still the reality that €1899 for a foldable is eye-watering. That's especially the case when there are options with better specs for a similar price. Still, the base Pixel 10 model at $799/£799/€899, if it delivers on the upgrades it's rumoured to include, could be a contender for the best smartphone of the year. If you're eyeing the Pixel 10 series, it is expected to debut on 20 August. The phones will likely hit shelves (and doormats) a week later. If these prices are correct, I'll be impressed with the big G.

Samsung Galaxy S26 series leak hints at an Edge future (again)

Hadlee Simons / Android Authority TL;DR The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will reportedly gain a 200MP main camera and a 50MP tele camera. Samsung's middle Galaxy S26 model apparently has a 50MP ultrawide camera, much like the Galaxy S25 Edge. This ultrawide camera potentially hints at the Galaxy S26 Plus being swapped out for an S26 Edge. We already know that Samsung is hard at work on the Galaxy S26 series, and we've seen a few leaks already. Now, a trusted outlet has revealed some more details about Samsung's 2026 flagship Android phones. WinFuture reports that three Galaxy S26 phones are in development and are codenamed NPA1, NPA2, and NPA3, citing an unnamed database. The NPA abbreviation could stand for 'Next Paradigm.' After all, the Galaxy S25 phones were internally referred to as Paradigm and codenamed PA1, PA2, and PA3. The outlet says it also spotted a few technical details about the NPA3 model, which is expected to be the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The database points to a 200MP main camera, but there's no word if this is an upgraded sensor in line with a recent leak. A 50MP telephoto camera was also mentioned, while partners are apparently building the first parts for 5x optical zoom. This presumably means a 50MP 5x camera is making a return. Otherwise, an unspecified ultrawide camera was also mentioned in the database. There's no word on a 3x camera, though. There are no technical details for the NPA1 model, which is expected to be the base Galaxy S26. However, WinFuture says the NPA2 model is listed with a 50MP ultrawide camera instead of the Galaxy S25 Plus's 12MP ultrawide lens. This change would be in line with the Galaxy S25 Edge, which offers a 50MP ultrawide camera. That doesn't necessarily guarantee the S26 Plus will be replaced by the S26 Edge per previous reports, but it does raise more questions about the fate of a Plus model. Samsung's new phones are still half a year away from their expected January release window. Don't be surprised if we see plenty more leaks and rumors between now and then. Got a tip? Talk to us! Samsung is reportedly cooking up a major camera upgrade for at least one Galaxy S26 model

Now that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 are finally out of the bag (while the so-called Galaxy G Fold is still not), the time has come to delve deep(er) into the expected specifications and features of Samsung's next big high-end handset family. I'm not talking about the Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8... just yet, but rather the non-foldable Galaxy S26 trio (or quartet) that has been (fairly timidly) making headlines for several months now. As we inch closer to a presumed January 2026 announcement, the usual rumormongers and industry pundits are likely to focus more and more on these currently mysterious Android powerhouses, which are already starting to take shape. The first interesting tidbit revealed in a new WinFuture report (translated here) is the purported internal codename of the Galaxy S26 series. This is NPA (short for "Next Paradigm"), which would tie directly to the PA (or "Paradigm") codename of the early 2025-released Galaxy S25 trio. After the S24 family was known on the inside as "Eureka" and the Galaxy S23 series carried the (not so) secret designation "Diamond", Next Paradigm seems to suggest the Galaxy S26 will strongly resemble the S25 lineup, which is definitely not good news for Samsung fans dreaming of a radical 2026 redesign. The Galaxy S25 Plus is unlikely to get a direct sequel next year. | Image Credit -- PhoneArena Of course, you shouldn't despair already and be sure that Samsung will play things totally safe here, especially with one Galaxy S26 version tipped for a pretty significant upgrade in a key department. That's right, the "NPA2" model will apparently come with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, which would represent a massive improvement over the 12MP resolution of the same type of camera found on the back of the Galaxy S25 Plus and S25 Edge. Why am I comparing the NPA2 with two existing devices? Because Samsung seems to be working on just three rather than four different Galaxy S26 models, which means the NPA2 could replace both the aforementioned Plus and Edge handsets. If that happens, there's a good chance the "vanilla" S26 and the S26 Ultra will be joined to market by a Galaxy S26 Edge with an ultra-high-end camera system instead of a Galaxy S26 Plus. The death of the Plus has been rumored a couple of times before, mind you, so while not etched in stone, it's now an exceptionally strong possibility (at the very least). Sadly, not very much at the moment. Specifically, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is tipped to rock a 200MP primary rear-facing camera (which may or may not use a different sensor as the S25 Ultra) and a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom support. The other two imaging sensors are largely shrouded in secrecy, and the same unfortunately goes for the entire camera setup of the "base" Galaxy S26 model. That is, of course, if we rely solely on this latest report, which is not really our style. The Galaxy S25 is likely to get its own sequel with an upgraded camera in early 2026. | Image Credit -- PhoneArena Instead, I'd like to remind you all of a rumor from a couple of months back calling for a pretty exciting main camera upgrade as far as the compact S26 is concerned as well. That means Samsung's "Next Paradigm" might not prove to be a paradigm shift, but there's still plenty to look forward to even for the most demanding shutterbugs around. And that's before we can get into things like raw power and battery life enhancements, which... are currently unclear. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! Google Pixel 10 price leaked ahead of August launch

Pixel fans, are you ready for the next-gen phones? While Google is keeping the details under wraps, the rumours and leaks have covered it all. And now it looks like Google's next-gen smartphones are sticking to familiar territory when it comes to pricing. According to a tipster, Roland Quandt of WinFuture, the entire Pixel 10 lineup in Europe will carry the exact same price tags as the Pixel 9 series. So, if you were hoping for a surprise discount or bracing for a price hike, well, neither is Pixel 10 lineup prices (leaked)At the top end of the price pyramid is the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Google's sleek foldable flagship, which may start at 1,899 (around Rs 1,72,000) for the 256GB version and go all the way up to 2,289 (around Rs 2,07,500) for the 1TB variant. That top-tier storage option is new this year, a bit of added luxury, if you can afford it. Credit: Bluesky Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro XL has seen a subtle reshuffle. While prices remain identical to the Pixel 9 Pro XL, Google has removed the base 128GB model. Now, the Pro XL starts at 256GB for 1,299 (around Rs 1,17,700), followed by 512GB at 1,429 (approximately Rs 1,29,500), and a massive 1TB at 1,689 (around Rs 1,53,100). Technically, that does mean the entry point for the XL model has gone up, but only because the cheapest version is no longer part of the family. As for the standard Pixel 10, prices begin at 899 (around Rs 81,500) for 128GB and go up to 999 (around Rs 90,600) for the 256GB version. The Pixel 10 Pro remains the versatile middle child with four storage options: 128GB at 1,099 (around Rs 99,500), 256GB at 1,199 (approx Rs 1,08,500), 512GB at 1,329 (around Rs 1,20,200), and the maxed-out 1TB model at 1,589 (around Rs 1,44,200).In short, if you already memorised last year's Pixel 9 pricing, congratulations! You're fully prepared for this year's launch. The only real shakeups are the storage changes on the XL and Fold variants. If you were swayed by that earlier rumour claiming the Fold would be cheaper this time? Yeah, that one's officially Google seems to be keeping things steady in Europe, it's still unclear if the US and other global markets will see price adjustments. That said, the Indian market usually mimics the same as Europe. Google Pixel Buds 2a may get a price hikeInterestingly, while phones remain flat on the pricing graph, Google's next-gen earbuds are getting a bit more expensive. The upcoming Pixel Buds 2a, which surfaced earlier this month, are set to launch at 149 (approx Rs 13,500), a noticeable bump from the original Pixel Buds A-Series, which retailed for 109 (around Rs 9,800). That's a roughly Rs 3,700 jump, which might sting a little for budget-conscious Pixel 10 lineup: Expected launch The speculation is that Google will follow the tradition of launching its flagship series in August. The Google Pixel 10 lineup is expected to launch in August. - Ends

Google's Aggressive Pixel 10 Pro Pricing Decision

Pixel 9 Pro XL Ahead of a launch in late August, more details on the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro handsets are becoming clear. This week, we have more of an idea on Google's pricing strategy, and it looks both familiar and aggressive. Pixel 10 And Pixel 10 Pro Pricing The details come from WinFuture's Roland Quandt. European pricing shows that the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold will all go on sale with the same pricing for the same storage options. That means the Pixel 10 will start at €899 with 128 GB storage, the Pixel 10 Pro starting at €1,099 for 128 GB, the Pixel 10 Pro XL at €1,299 for 256 GB and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold at €1,899 for 256 GB, Of note, there is no listing for a 128 GB variant of the Pixel 10 Pro XL; for 2025 the Pro XL storage starts at 256 GB in Europe. It may be that availability in the territory is limited, or Google has decided to drop this option. That should become clear as we get closer to the launch date. With smartphone prices sneaking up across the various portfolios, Google retaining the pricing on the Pixel family can be seen as an aggressive push to The Pixel 10 Priority While many will be drawn to the premium experience that the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL will deliver, the base Pixel 10 may be the key handset in this family. With an expected move from the Pixel 9's two camera lenses on the main camera to three, the new Tensor G5 mobile chipset, and the increased use of generative AI, the Pixel 10 is the smartphone most likely to reshape the market with its €899 price tag. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold's New Focus One pricing decision that may come as a disappointment is with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. It has been previously reported that Google would aggressively price its foldable to focus the foldable market on a general consumer audience. Instead, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold pricing on show here matches the Pro Fold from 2024—matching the other smartphones in the Pixel 10 family. With Samsung's increased focus on the consumer experience with the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip 7, plus Honor's prioritisation of design and fashion with the Magic V5, perhaps Google is focusing on using the Pixel 10 Pro Fold as an ongoing reference design for this part of the market? Pixel 10 Pro Launch Dates Google is widely expected to launch the Pixel 10 family at a 'Made By Google' event on Aug. 20, with a retail release the following week.
