Dubai Traffic to Ease: RTA Opens New 1.8km Flyover in Major Upgrade
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), working with Etihad Rail, has opened a new 1.8 km flyover. The new flyover on Al Yalayis Street is set to improve traffic flow to and from Dubai Investment Park. Etihad Rail officials confirmed their 'ongoing commitment to collaborating with the relevant authorities in the UAE to ensure that operations align with the highest global standards.' 'The goal is to provide efficient transport services for both goods and passengers in key areas, ensuring connectivity and the safe, effective delivery of railway services,' the statement continued. The new flyover connects vital routes that enhance mobility to and from Dubai, supporting Etihad Rail's efforts to 'strengthen social bonds, improve the movement of goods, and support economic growth across the country.' Future plans include extending the flyover towards Jumeirah Golf Estates, with construction of a two-lane road in each direction to further enhance network connectivity and ensure smooth traffic flow in the area.
