Although there is still a month left of the transfer window, it seems increasingly likely that both stars will remain at Selhurst Park.
Palace have not received any firm offers for either player and are in no rush to sell.
This is good news for the club's fans who are still reeling from their European heartbreak and the fact they look set to be demoted into the Conference League.
Liverpool have been favourites to land centre-back Guehi and have been in talks with his representatives.

The centre-back has just one year left of his contract but has not been pushing for a move.
And the Premier League champions rate him at around £40million - £10m short of Palace's asking price.
Spurs are still interested having failed with a £70m bid in January while Newcastle had three offers turned down a year ago.
Toon have revived their interest this summer, but are still £10m below Palace's valuation.

That mean, as SunSport revealed in May, Guehi could now run down the final year of his contract and leave on a free transfer, opening up a potential switch to Barcelona or Real Madrid.
And the Eagles are increasingly confident of keeping him this summer.

Attacking midfielder Eze has been in line for a move to Arsenal and is keen to move to the Emirates.
Yet the Gunners are not prepared to trigger his £68m release clause.
With Palace not needing to sell financially, they are unlikely to lower their demands and Arsenal could look at other targets.
The club's fans are still stunned at Uefa's decision to drop them into this season's Conference League despite qualifying for the Europa League after winning the FA Cup.
Palace's appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will be on Friday.
They were demoted to the third-tier Conference League by Uefa's Club Financial Control Body in a multi-club ownership case.

Katie McCabe opens up on relationship with Vera Pauw two years after World Cup

Katie McCabe played down the idea that there is any bad blood between herself and former Ireland manager Vera Pauw and said that any clash they had was 'normal'. The Ireland captain publicly disagreed with Pauw in the final group game against Nigeria at the 2023 World Cup when she asked for a change. Pauw said after the match, "If Katie McCabe says that she wants a change, that doesn't mean she's the coach." The idea of a feud would grow legs with Pauw's imminent departure and McCabe sending a tweet with zip-faced emojis after the game, but the Arsenal star poured cold water on any speculation that there is any bad blood between the two. Speaking on Nicky Byrne HQ, hosted by the Westlife star, she was asked about Pauw. "I've had multiple conversations with Vera. She was the manager that helped us get to our first-ever major tournament. She set us up, we did our tactics, we executed our game plan to the best of our abilities, and we got to a major tournament. That will always be etched in history from a women's football point of view." McCabe opened up on the clash between the pair but described it as 'normal' and spoke highly of her former manager. "For me and Vera, the conversations we course, I'm not going to go into it, but yes, we clashed. But that's totally normal. You're allowed to clash when you've both got different opinions on things. She has her version. I think this is what's right, but ultimately we'll come to an agreement. "You're constantly having those conversations and healthy conflicts. Vera, as I've said, we did something incredible together, we achieved history together, and I'll always be grateful to Vera. "I think everyone thinks that Vera and I ended on really bad terms, but we didn't. I thanked her for everything she'd done, she thanked me, we wished each other well."

James Maddison injury update as Tottenham star set to miss majority of season

Tottenham Hotspur's creative midfielder, James Maddison, is set to miss most of the season due to a severe knee injury. The England international encountered this setback during pre-season, and it has now been confirmed that he has torn his ACL and will need surgery. Last season, fellow Premier League player Rodri was sidelined for eight months following an ACL tear. The Manchester City star made his comeback towards the end of the season after being injured in an early season match against Arsenal. Maddison was representing Spurs in a pre-season friendly against Newcastle when he sustained the injury and had to be stretchered off. Thomas Frank confirmed that the injury was to the same knee which caused him to miss the team's Europa League final in May. "We can confirm that James Maddison will undergo surgery for a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in his right knee," Spurs said in a statement. "The 28-year-old midfielder suffered the injury during our pre-season friendly against Newcastle United on Sunday in Seoul. His surgery will take place in the coming days and, following that, James will then begin his rehabilitation with our medical team. "Everyone at Tottenham Hotspur wishes James a full and speedy recovery. We will be supporting him every step of the way." Frank said after the Newcastle game: "We're pretty sure it was the same knee he injured before." Maddison was seen leaving on crutches, and the Spurs boss elaborated on the tough situation. "Yeah, it's like in life and football, I think sometimes life and football can be brutal, but also sometimes very beautiful. So I think it was brutal in what happened to to Madders," he said. "It looks like a bad injury. Of course we don't know exactly the status on it. It didn't look good." The injury also puts Maddison's World Cup involvement in doubt. The seven-cap England international has yet to play for the national team since Thomas Tuchel took over in the dugout, but might have hoped a big season could have put him back in the manager's thoughts. Spurs will now need to decide whether to dip into the transfer market for a replacement. Morgan Gibbs-White and Ebere Eze have both been of interest in the past, while there have been suggestions they could move for Harvey Elliott as RB Leipzig weigh up a move for the Liverpool star. The injury news comes just one day after Spurs confirmed the departure of captain Son Heung-min. South Korea forward Son has moved to Los Angeles FC in a Major League Soccer record deal, worth roughly £19.5million.

Manchester United agree deal for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko

Manchester United are closing in on the signing of Benjamin Sesko after agreeing a deal worth up to £73.7million with RB Leipzig, the PA news agency understands. The talented 22-year-old striker has been the subject of a tug of a war as the Red Devils and Newcastle both attempted to bolster their attacks ahead of the new season. Sesko indicated to United that he favoured a move to them over the Magpies and PA understands they have now agreed a deal with Leipzig worth €76.5m plus a potential €8.5m in add-ons. The Slovenia international has been granted permission to travel to Manchester to undergo a medical and complete the move. United have transformed Ruben Amorim's attack (Adam Davy/PA) Sesko scored 21 goals in all competitions last term and has long been on the Red Devils' radar, stretching back to his move from Domzale to RB Salzburg in 2019. Newcastle had made the first move this summer and reacted to seeing an initial bid rebuffed by making an improved approach worth a reported €82.5m plus €2.5m in add-ons. Ruben Amorim's Red Devils were waiting in the wings and followed with a rival proposal of €75m plus a potential €10m in add-ons. The terms were subsequently tweaked, with United paying slightly more as an initial fee as part of the deal in principle struck with Leipzig. Sesko is United's third attacking addition, following the arrivals of Matheus Cunha (pictured) and Bryan Mbeumo (Nick Potts/PA) Sesko is set to become the fourth signing of the summer as United look to hit back from finishing 15th last season – their worst top-flight campaign in 51 years – and losing the Europa League final to Tottenham. Matheus Cunha joined from Wolves for £62.5m, while Bryan Mbeumo left Brentford for an initial £65m fee that could rise by a further £6m should certain add-on clauses related to team and player be achieved. Teenage wing-back Diego Leon has also linked up with United after a deal was struck with Cerro Porteno in January.
