Boots slashes price of 'top class' Versace perfume worth £78 to £25
Boots shoppers have said that a Versace fragrance is worth snapping up now it is on offer as part of the shop's latest round of discounts. The luxury brand usually costs fans a small fortune, but this deal knocks more than £50 off its original price tag.
The health and beauty store is having a major sale on a selection of popular perfumes and aftershaves, with some getting up to a 50% discount or better. Normally worth £78 for a 100ml bottle, Boots has an online deal where shoppers can get their hands on The Dreamer by Versace for just £25 - a markdown of around 67%.
The designer brand's Dreamer Eau de Toilette comes in a 'sleek' glass bottle, with an "alluring, sensual and comforting" fragrance. It blends aromatic florals with "deep and rich notes of amber" to create a 'strong masculine scent'.
There are deals in other beauty stores if people are in the market for a new fragrance - such as HUGO Just Different For Him Eau de Toilette (Superdrug, was £58, now £27) and Davidoff Adventure Eau de Toilette (The Perfume Shop, worth £66, now £27.99). But, the Versace deal is only available for a limited time at Boots - and dozens of shoppers couldn't help but praise it.
One Boots customer said: "This, like other Versace perfumes, is a beautiful, long-lasting fragrance at a very good price." Another added: "Fantastic. It's lovely for daytime or evening events." A third wrote: "This fragrance is top class, it takes my breath away. I love the smell so much."
But, not everyone felt the purchase was worth the price. One unhappy shopper claimed: "Not the best aftershave I've ever bought. It doesn't last that long."
Another said: "This fragrance has been reformulated so much that it bears no resemblance to the original at all! It has no longevity or anything." However, the majority of customers felt it deserved a five-star review.
Someone else put: "For the price, this is a great fragrance. Wore it on a trip to Paris and got loads of compliments. Smells more expensive than it is." A fifth person added: "Great smell and excellent price. I would recommend as I've had loads of compliments about how nice it is."
Shoppers have no shortage of deals to try out this summer. Charlotte Tilbury fans will be pleased to find out that a line of products is getting a major discount.
For those who have been waiting for the right moment to try any of the perfumes offered by the makeup and beauty brand, now may be one of the best times. Our shopping team reported this week that the Fragrance Collection of Emotions Discovery Set is currently on sale for £33.60, down from £48, which works out to £11.20 per perfume.

No7 unveils two beauty advent calendars and they're full of anti-ageing best-sellers
The No7 beauty advent calendars for 2025 have already been announced, and they're already causing excitement among skincare obsessives across the UK – despite the fact that it's still August. While advents from Space NK, Selfridges and other prestigious retailers (see my full round-up of the best beauty advent calendars 2025) offer a selection of fragrance, haircare, body care and more, No7's Christmas countdowns are all about make-up and skincare. As fans of the brand will know, the skincare collections are some of the best in the business, especially for anti-ageing products. Just like last year, the brand has revealed two advent calendars for 2025: the 25 days of beauty advent calendar (£60, and the ultimate beauty advent calendar (£175, Both calendars will comprise a selection of No7 best-sellers, from the newly-launched pro-artist make-up range to the restore and renew skincare line. However, the premium 'ultimate' advent iteration boasts full-sized products across all 25 doors. Yes, you read that correctly; unlike any of the other calendars I've seen this year, every single product is full-size, not travel minis. As if that wasn't exciting enough, this year's calendars will feature No7's latest launch, the future renew night serum (£39.95, which promises to minimise fine lines and wrinkles with visible results in as little as a week. Scroll on to find out more, and the key dates and details to shop once they launch. No7 25 days of beauty advent calendar: £60, Following a more traditional advent formula with a mix of full-sizes (10 total) and minis, the 25 days of beauty calendar is one of the most affordable collections I've seen in 2025 so far. Launching on 4 September to anyone signed up to the waitlist (or 6 September otherwise), the 25 items are worth £238, nearly four times as much as the calendar. Plus, waitlist signees will earn the chance to win a £400 Secret Escapes voucher. However, No7 is keeping some of the magic of Christmas alive, and the majority of the calendar's contents are still secret. However, I've spied the future renew peptide cleanser (£19.96, the restore and renew face and neck night cream (£32.95, and – for that perfect Christmas Day lip – the pro artist matte muse lipstick (£14.95, Consider your 2026 skin smooth, luminous and glam. No7 ultimate beauty advent calendar: £175, For true No7 obsessives, the ultimate advent will be your holy grail. I've spotted some of our favourites; the damage reversal SPF 40 day cream (£37.95, uses peptides to minimise existing fine lines and vitamin C to prevent future wrinkles, and the pro-artist lip shine oil (£14.95, delivers vitamin E-infused moisture to dry, lacklustre pouts. Its selection of 25 full-size products (worth more than £530) will refresh your beauty stash for 2026. £175 seems like a lot, but by the standards of beauty advent calendars, where Liberty's offering costs £240, and Jo Malone's costs £360, it's relatively affordable. On top of that, the tiered drawer packaging – complete with a generous mirror – will upgrade your vanity set-up.

Peter Andre has opened up about a recent family holiday to Cyprus in his latest column, in which he also discussed his eldest daughter Princess Andre's new reality TV show Peter Andre has opened up about his family dynamic and admitted they have "struggled" recently. The musician and his wife, Dr Emily Andre, recently jetted abroad to spend some quality time together. Peter, 52, headed to Cyprus a the summer holiday with Emily Andre, 36, and their three kids recently. He had posted some updates from the trip abroad and has now confirmed that the five of them have since returned to the UK. In his latest column for New! magazine, Peter opened up about the holiday. He revealed that they had "struggled" amid a heatwave but shared that his youngest son, Theo, eight, was "very sad" to leave. Peter wrote: "We're back from beautiful Cyprus now, and life is back to normal. It was a fantastic holiday and being in the villa was a dream. It actually got too hot because there was a heatwave and it knocked us for six, even I struggled with it." He said that his son had asked if they could extended their stay on the island though. He added: "But Theo in particular was very sad to leave and asked if we could stay. Sadly, life doesn't work like that and school is starting again soon!" Teasing over their return to the country, which is where both of his parents are from, Peter said that he expects Theo to be "counting down the days". He wrote in the column: "But I think he'll be counting the days until we can go back and make more (hopefully less hot!) memories together." Peter went on to write about his eldest daughter, Princess Andre, 18, who is the youngest of his two kids with Katie Price, 47, now having her own reality TV show. The Princess Diaries, which launched on ITV last weekend, documents the teenager's life, as she builds her own brand. Addressing the project, Peter wrote in his latest column: "I'm very, very proud of Princess and her show." He added: "I think she's absolutely smashed it. She's come across just how she is and how we know her - funny, quirky, kind. "The response has been phenomenal, I think it was number one on ITV when it first came out. But all I want for her is for her to be happy, and hopefully she can do season two, three, four, whatever she wants to do, and soar like an eagle because she's a great, great kid and I'm so proud of her." Earlier this month, Princess' mother Katie claimed that she hadn't been allowed to appear in the show or be involved with her daughter's career. She said on the Katie Price Show podcast: "I have not been allowed to go on any photoshoot, no signings or Superdrug openings or anything like that. Why? Because I'm not allowed and I'm not welcome." The CAN Group, which manages Peter and Princess, later issued a statement to the Mirror. It read: "As a company, our duty of care to our clients is paramount. We would never advise a client on their personal life unless asked and we have never stopped anyone seeing their families." The release of the reality TV show amid rumours of a rift between the mother and daughter. Princess however said in the first episode that they are "so close," whilst Katie had already dismissed the speculation on her podcast. Katie said before the show launched that they "get on like best friends". She said: "Me and Princess have never, ever, ever had an argument to this day or a disagreement. We get on like best friends, mother and daughter." Earlier this week, Peter criticised his ex-wife in a lengthy post on Instagram following the launch of their daughter's show. Katie later reacted in a statement of her own.
