Peter Andre forced to climb through window to rescue trapped son
Peter Andre turned into a real-life superhero when he saved his son Theo from being trapped in a toilet cubicle. The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, who shares eight-year-old Theo with wife Emily, along with daughters Amelia and Arabella, was forced to spring into action during their family holiday in Cyprus.
Peter also has a son, Junior, and a daughter, Princess, from his previous marriage to Katie Price, with whom he is currently at odds.
The drama unfolded while the family were enjoying a visit to Camel Park in Mazotos. Young Theo found himself locked inside a public loo, prompting his dad to take swift action. It comes after Princess Andre says she's 'independent' from parents as she breaks silence after Katie Price row.
In true heroic fashion, Peter clambered up the side of the toilet block and managed to squeeze through an open window at the back. He shared the entire incident on Instagram, narrating the situation whilst sporting a pair of flip-flops.
In the video, he explained: "Right guys, we have a bit of a situation here because these are the toilets. This is the door, it's completely locked from the inside and the outside, and someone can't get out."
He then showed Theo, whose face was blurred for privacy, stuck inside the toilet wearing a T-shirt and shorts. The youngster exclaimed: "It's boiling in here!".
Thankfully, Peter was able to get inside the toilet facility and rescue Theo by passing him through the gap. Addressing the crowd, he said: "Ladies and gentlemen there's always ways to get out of these situations, be careful."
However, the pop star found himself in a bit of a pickle as he struggled to climb back out of the window. One of his children couldn't resist teasing him, shouting: "You're embarrassing us dad!"
The Australian singer turned reality star wasn't stuck for long and freed himself from the predicament. He clearly found the humour in the situation, writing alongside the clip: "Saved the day and I'm still embarrassing."
Supporters were quick to praise him, with one posting: "In all seriousness, well done superhero dad [clapping emoji]." Another added: "Good on you, Pete."
It comes after Peter took to social media to address comments made by his former wife, Katie. In a statement shared on his Instagram, he said: "For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.
"The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood."
Peter went on to add: "Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months."
Following Peter's post, a spokesperson for Katie told the Mirror: "Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn't feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she's dealing with this the right way and it's now in her lawyers hands. Kate will no longer be gaslight and bullied as she once was..."

We live in an age where new words are creeping into our lexicon all the time, thanks to the internet and big shifts in popular culture. And there's no better way to see these shifts than what's been added to the Cambridge dictionary each year. For 2025, one of the new words is 'tradwife' (along with Gen Z's fave slang Skibidi and TikTok's delulu). But what does tradwife mean? And who are some popular examples? According to the Cambridge Dictionary, a tradwife is a 'married woman, especially one who posts on social media, who stays at home doing cooking, cleaning, etc. and has children that she takes care of.' Shorthand for 'traditional wife', the term has been around since 2018, but has become more popular after a growing trend on Instagram and TikTok has shown more young women embrace traditional gender roles. Two of the most famous tradwifes on social media are Hannah Neeleman, aka Ballerina Farm, and Nara Smith. Both have amassed cult followings on social media, where they show videos of their daily life cooking, caring for the home, and raising children - all while looking impossibly glamorous and together while they do it. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar last year, Nara addressed her thoughts on being labelled a tradwife, saying she doesn't view herself in that way. 'That's one of the narratives that I have a really hard time wrapping my head around: the tradwife, whatever it is,' she said. 'You don't see me getting on a plane, hopping to New York, modelling, coming back – all while I have a newborn – paying bills, filming content, getting my kids dressed.' In a 2024 interview with The Sunday Times, we had a glimpse into glimpse Neeleman's day-to-day life as a mother of eight on the family's Utah farm. The interview garnered significant interest, because Neelman also spoke about how she didn't associate herself with the term. 'We are traditional in the sense that it's a man and a woman,' she said of her dynamic with her husband, Daniel. 'We have children, but I do feel like we're paving a lot of paths that haven't been paved before. So for me to have the label of a traditional woman,' adding 'I don't know if I identify with that.' They're inordinately wealthy... enjoying their lives cooking these beautiful meals and spending time with their children, it's like the one major thing woman can't have – a successful career and be with your children.'
