2025 Yezdi Roadster: Refreshed Styling
The 2025 Roadster continues to retain its silhouette, but there are subtle changes to the bodywork on the motorcycle. The retro offering gets a new round LED headlamp with a cowl, a resculpted teardrop-shaped fuel tank, curved mudguard, and a slim LED taillight. The top variant skips the brake light altogether, with the indicators doubling as the brake light.

2025 Yezdi Roadster: Revised Ergonomics
The new Yezdi Roadster gets revised ergonomics with repositioned footpegs. The front footpegs for the rider have moved to a forward position for a more relaxed stance, while the rear footpegs for the pillion have moved lower for a comfortable seating triangle. The handlebar position remains the same, while you do get a wider handlebar on the top variant for a more stylish look. Yezdi has also revised the cushioning foam on the seat to make the Roadster more comfortable for longer rides.

The new Roadster continues to be underpinned by a steel frame with telescopic forks at the front, while the twin shocks at the rear are new and intended to bring a more comfortable ride quality to the motorcycle. The bike rides on new alloy wheels borrowed from the Jawa 42 Bobber, wrapped in tubeless tyres. It also gets a wider 150-section rear tyre, as opposed to the 130-section rubber on the older model. Braking performance comes from a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc. The bike comes with dual-channel ABS and traction control.

2025 Yezdi Roadster: Updated Engine
Powering the 2025 Roadster is the 334 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder Alpha2 engine, borrowed from the Yezdi Adventure. The motor is tuned to produce 28.6 bhp and 30 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox with an assist-and-slipper clutch. The engine has been updated for improved performance and refinement over the predecessor, and gets a subtly revised exhaust note as well. The new motor has also been optimised for E20 fuel compliance.

2025 Yezdi Roadster: Factory Custom Kits & Accessories
Yezdi is offering a host of customisation options, including six factory custom kits. You can also choose different hydrofoam handlebars, LED turn indicators, a removable pillion seat, luggage panniers, fly screens, engine guards, and more. The round digital console has been retained on the motorcycle.

The new Yezdi Roadster is available in two variants - Standard and Premium. The Roadster Standard is priced from ₹2.10 lakh onwards, going up to ₹2.22 lakh. Meanwhile, the Roadster Premium gets an all-black paint scheme and is priced at ₹2.26 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Bookings for the new Roadster are now open, while deliveries are set to commence in a few days.

Ola Electric showcases Bharat cell, rare earth-free motor at ‘Sankalp'
Company Images Ola Electric on Friday launched its first indigenously manufactured 4680 Bharat cell battery and a rare earth metal-free motor at its annual 'Sankalp' event, held at the company's Gigafactory in Tamil Nadu. This was Ola's first public showcase at the 107-acre lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility. The 4680 Bharat cell, available starting today, offers 10% higher energy density and a battery life of around 15 years, the company claimed. It can be used in Ola vehicles, energy storage devices such as solar units, and even drones. Ola Electric also unveiled the new S1 Pro+ scooter, powered by the 4680 cell, with a top speed of 141 km/h and a promised range of 501 km. Its price has been cut from Rs 1,99,999 to Rs 1,69,999, with deliveries beginning September 22. Ola's second major announcement was a motor built with ferrite instead of neodymium, eliminating the need for rare earth magnets. These magnets, typically the strongest permanent magnets, have become a supply risk for India's auto industry as China tightens exports. 'The next generation of motor technology does not need rare earths. And your company has already built it,' said founder Bhavish Aggarwal at the event. The company also introduced MoveOS 6, its upgraded operating system that follows MoveOS 5. The new version adds features such as a voice assistant, camera, customisable motor sounds, personalised ride insights, and speed boost. According to Ola, MoveOS 6 will improve energy efficiency by 15%, reduce weight by 25%, and cut costs by 43%. These Gen4 upgrades are scheduled for release early next year. As part of the MoveOS 6 rollout, Ola will launch the S1 Pro Sport, a sport-segment scooter priced at Rs 1,49,999 (tentative), expected in January 2026. Classic Legends has been steadily updating the Yezdi motorcycle range for the 2025 model year, and the Yezdi Scrambler is next in line for a major refresh. The 2025 Scrambler has been spotted testing on Indian roads, and it will feature a series of mechanical changes aimed at enhancing performance and rideability. The updated model is expected to be launched in the next few months as a follow-up to the recently launched 2025 Roadster and 2025 Adventure. An Instagram user, adventure_journey_, posted a video clip of a test mule, and it is evident that while the overall silhouette remains unchanged, the 2025 Yezdi Scrambler does feature visible mechanical updates. The first of which is the new engine cover that gets a bronze finish and replaces the all-black boxy cover on the current-gen model. The Scrambler will derive its power from the updated Alpha2 engine that was debuted earlier this year with the new Jawa 350 and Yezdi Adventure. The test mule further features a new split pillion grabrail setup instead of the current single-piece grabrail. This 334 cc single-cylinder unit makes 29 bhp and 29.8 Nm of peak torque and carries new internal components. That said, the Scrambler's engine could feature more changes that make it the most aggressive out of the entire lineup. The motorcycle is also expected to feature a revised sprocket setup for enhanced acceleration. 2025 Yezdi Scrambler: Updated suspension setup The current Scrambler is built around a double cradle frame held up by 41 mm telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged twin shocks adjustable for pre-load. It rides on a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel fitted with a 320 mm front disc and a 240 mm unit at the rear. The latest test mule appears to carry over similar hardware components, but the 2025 Scrambler is expected to come with some tweaks to enhance rider comfort.
