Hamas: Settler killings escalating, call for mass mobilization, public rage
The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) stated that killings committed by Israeli settlers in the West Bank are escalating dangerously and require urgent mass mobilization and public outrage to confront their brutality. The latest attack occurred Saturday evening near the town of Aqraba, southeast of Nablus, where one Palestinian youth was killed and five others wounded.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Hamas mourned the martyrdom of Muin Sobhi Abu Kabr Diriyah, who was killed while confronting the settler attack in the Mahfuriya area near Aqraba. The movement emphasized the urgent need to resist escalating settler assaults with full force and to ignite widespread anger across the West Bank to deter both the Israeli occupation and its settlers.
Hamas called on Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem to actively participate in field mobilizations and solidarity events in support of Gaza, which has endured over 22 months of genocidal aggression and starvation. It also stressed the importance of unified efforts to defend Islamic holy sites, especially Al-Aqsa Mosque.
