On today's Beyond The Gates recap:
Orphey Gene's: June is freaking out about seeing Regina. Jacob tries to deescalate the situation, and both sisters get teary eyed. June sees the picture of her children on Regina's phone and wonders where she got it. She grabs Regina's phone and begins to break down. Regina says the picture is June's and they had the picture taken together. June says it never happened and she simply found the picture. Regina is stunned June doesn't recognize her own children.
Naomi apologizes thinking June was told too much too soon. June insists her sister is lying to her as she has no children. Regina can't believe June abandoned her children and wonders where in the world they could possibly be. June asks for everyone to leave her alone and walks out.
Regina thinks Naomi is wasting her time as she has tried for years with her sister. She was done when she left those babies all alone. Naomi wonders what happened in her life to put her in this position. Regina is finished and asks not to be called again.
Andre's Pad: Ashley is thrilled by Andre bringing Paris to her. He says they are going to pretend they are in Paris for the evening. This evening, they will be dancing in a Parisian dance club. He kicks things off with champagne and pops the cork. They toast to Ashley saying yes to the desires of her heart. Ashley says she loves not knowing what comes next in her life. She loved Derek but he was offering her the opposite. Ashley doesn't want to discount what's right in front of her. The two enjoy dinner and then a dance.
Joey's Gambling Pit: Joey thinks Vanessa looks amazing who is only there to talk business. Vanessa says he was outbid for a property which pisses him off. She thinks it's best to walk away from the deal as she is looking out for both of them. Joey reluctantly agrees and then asks to double the money being funneled through her business. Vanessa doesn't quite know what to say when Joey says they have each other's backs (Girl, he will throw you under the bus the first time he gets). Just then, a tipsy Doug arrives and says he is ready to gamble. He sees Vanessa with Joey and then takes a seat to play his hand.
Vanessa is furious as Doug said he would stop gambling. Joey motions for the dealer to leave and he does quickly. Vanessa says they can't afford to go into debt again. Doug goes OFF saying every dollar he spends at the casino will get funneled through his wife's company because she and Joey are in bed together… figuratively, of course. Joey wants Doug to head out but he still wants to play a round of cards. That being said, Doug knows he's as likely to play cards tonight as he is to see under his wife's dress. With that, Joey throws him against the wall and tells him to get gone. (I'm so curious where folks stand with Doug. He was rude, but I'm not mad).
Hotel – Ted's Room: Ted writes Eva a check and she promises to pay everything back. Ted has questions about something else and mentions Leslie's words about the accreditation issues being Kat's doing. Eva says she should have done her due diligence despite Kat's actions. She says she is trying to let go of Kat's actions to make peace. Eva asks her father to let it go. Ted says Kat has crossed a line for the last time.
Leslie's Apartment: Leslie looks through designer fashion choices and says she has to buy everything she sees. Eva arrives and is pissed off about Leslie outing Kat. She wonders how her mother knew and Leslie says she just figured it out and there should be consequences to her actions. Eva just wants to make peace but her mother says they are just getting started. Eva needs to lock in and get ready for the battle and eventually get ready to move into the #1 daughter's seat.
Eva plays with her mother who thinks Ted turned her down. She goes OFF before Eva pulls out the check. Eva wishes her mother would learn to trust her as she is good on her own. Leslie gets fresh and asks if she could ask for more next time as she has needs and dreams. Eva thought her mother needed money for the basic necessities. She says she does but also wants to invest in her future. Eva and Leslie get snarky with one another before parting ways.
Fairmont Country Club: Kat rolls her eyes when she sees Tomas' call. He wants to hook up with some takeout from Orphey Gene's, but she says she's about to work out. He asks to meet up later and pushes until she agrees. Just then, she gets a text from her father.
Orphey Gene's: Eva arrives to see Tomas (Ooooh, he double booked?). He says he didn't reveal anything she said to Kat. Eva realizes their last encounter was good (wait til you hear the details, Eva!) and says she is happy for Tomas. He apologizes for what almost went down between them and thanks her for putting on the brakes. He says he wasn't playing games and if he wasn't in love with her sister… Those words stop and stun Eva. After he hems and haws, she realizes he and Kat did the deed. With that, she tells him to go find Kat and wishes him a good night. Afterwards, she begins to break down.
Hotel – Ted's Room: Kat arrives and says she can't stay long. Ted goes in about her vendetta against Eva. Kat counters saying Leslie and Eva are trying to ruin their lives. Ted asks about tricking Eva into missing the accreditation deadline. Kat is all kinds of evasive until her father calls her 'Katherine.' Kat says if Eva misunderstood it's on her. Ted simply asks her to steer clear of her sister (Did y'all hear her call Eva a nepo baby with a straight face?). She never admits anything and makes a quick exit.

31 Surprisingly Stylish Pieces From Amazon

A bow-backed babydoll one could reasonably assume was from Anthropologie or J. Crew. It just screams, "I'm going to the Hamptons this weekend." An adorable tennis skort that will have you leaping for joy — without flashing anyone. Why? Because this amazing piece comes with A POCKET! A sheer lace-style top that you can wear under a dress or overalls for extra texture during the day or over a dark bralette for a sultry look at night. A pair of trendy mesh ballet flats that bear a striking resemblance to a certain Alaïa pair, but without you needing to take an extra mortgage out. Or a pair of mesh jelly sandals because I will not let you spend almost $800 on jellies. With these, you can try out the trend, let your tootsies breathe, and shout "Row, shmow!" A swimsuit with ruched sides and drawstrings that allow you to customize your fit, sort of like a corset. Reviewers like that the strings can change how much coverage you get, so you can adjust the look throughout the day. A pull-on midi skirt so you can finally pull off THE Instagram fashionista look: tied tee, chunky chain, Baggu crescent bag, sneaks, and this amazing skirt. And once you're sick of that look, you can style it a million other ways, from sandals to big boots. A comfy long-sleeve/short set that's the closest you're getting to wearing pajamas to the group hang. The stripes are SO cute, I wouldn't blame you if you wore these from bed to brunch. A pair of rhinestone cutout jeans you may have seen worn by a certain pop star at a certain football game. OK, not this exact pair — we're not all millionaires — but close enough! A chic lil' shoulder purse so you can feel as effortlessly cool as a Parisian without any of the risks that come with living in Paris — getting Ratatouille'd, for example. A lightweight crewneck cardigan sweater you can count on to keep you warm in the mornings and evenings when the sun isn't quite ready for the job. I would say this is a great choice for chilly offices, but we all know we need a full-on parka for that type of tundra. 🥶 A simple, reliable tank with a fun V-neck that spices up an otherwise normal basic. Despite its low price, customers are happy with the quality and fit. One reviewer said it feels "soft like satin or silk." Or if you'd prefer a crewneck (and maybe a fun pattern), a tank you'll be glad to have for every grocery store run, outdoor dinner, or intense mini golf game. Wear as a tunic with leggings, tuck it into some high-waisted pants, or — you know, what? You can kinda style this anyway you want. It's that versatile. A puffy sleeve top so darling, even teddy bears will get jealous. The square neckline is basically like a giant spotlight for your favorite necklace. Chunky ankle boots in a timeless sillouette to give any outfit a little edge and a lot of comfort. The elastic sides make it easy to throw these on, so I foresee these being your go-to boots. Breathable and machine-washable pointed-toe flats with stretchy knit uppers that'll have you tap dancing with glee when you try them on. When your dancing shoes start to get dingy, just toss 'em in the wash. A beautiful tennis bracelet no one has to know is actually made with zirconia. You just need to decide if you want yellow, white, or rose gold plating — or OK, all three. A layered necklace set with three classic chains — herringbone, curb, and rope — that'll elevate any outfit, even your dog-walking uniform. Thanks to their gold plating, the necklaces are hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant, making them a great budget option when solid gold is out of the question. A spandex-blend slip maxi dress that's the closest you can get to wearing a nightgown outside while still looking ready for date night. Reviewers say that this fabric is not only comparable to a certain Skims dress, it might actually be even better. And a scoop-neck tee offering the same buttery softness as the beloved Skims top. Bonus: This one comes in more colors than it costs. A midi corset dress if you love the House of CB Carmen dress but not the price. ($225?!) You can still enjoy a cinched back, front tie, and all the compliments of the real deal. A quilted floral jacket perfect for unpredictable weather. Can't complain about chilly mornings when it's an excuse to wear something this cute. A pair of crossover flared leggings providing a silhouette so enticing, you'll find yourself getting distracted every time you see your reflection. If the 5,800+ happy reviewers are to be believed, these pants are so comfortable, you'll be asking questions like, "can I wear these to a wedding?" And a super-soft longline sports bra some have compared to Lululemon's Align tank top for an Equinox-level workout look at a Planet Fitness price. Reviewers say it offers a little less compression, so you can wear it on casual days, too. A tie-front cropped shirt perfect for making your vacation pics even more memorable. Remember that time we went to the boardwalk and we couldn't go more than 10 steps because people kept complimenting you? A bodycon pencil dress because you can alwaaaays use another LBD. Whether it's formal or casual, it all comes down to the right accessories — love a do-everything piece! A large satin scarf that's so versatile, it'll likely be named "most worn" by You magazine. You can style it as a scarf, top, belt — or tie it around your bag when your tote wants to accessorize, too. High-waisted palazzo trousers because they offer all the comfort of sweats while still serving up major voted-best-dressed-in-high-school looks. A denim pencil skirt that goes with pretty much anything but is still special enough to get a ton of "where did you get that?"s. A stretchy faux-wrap tee if you're stuck in a T-shirt rut. You can still wear tees — this one is just a step in a new direction. A pair of retro-style oval sunglasses so similar to Miu Miu, you could possibly trick friends into thinking you splurged on a $489 pair. Just be sure to correct them before they expect you to pay for lunch. A lantern-sleeve mini that says "Cinderella on a casual day" to me. Just look at those romantic puff sleeves and back ribbon that was definitely tied by birds! A tiered maxi skirt seen on many a Pinterest board. This dreamy chiffon number is double-layered, so it isn't see-through or likely to blow up in the wind. A lacey corset top that is basically screaming, "hey, can you take a picture of me?" Whether it's you at the trendy new cocktail bar or just picking up a coffee order, the likes are gonna come roooollllingg in. A square-neck cami proving that less is more. Pair it with some jeans and start aura farming! Reviewers rave that this basic feels high-end, citing the super soft, double-layered fabric and amazing fit. A cute faux-wrap dress for basically all occasions. One flight attendant says this dress is great for packing on trips, thanks to its lightweight material! Strappy chunky heels perfect for tearing it up on the dance floor this wedding season. Despite the solid, budget-friendly price, reviewers confirm there's no painful break-in period. A one-shouldered dress that's slightly toga-like, which gives you the perfect excuse to declare this your Italian summer. Someone needs to order you an olive plate and Aperol Spritz STAT. A pair of high-waisted biker shorts you should buy now before summer is in full swing and you're staring at your dresser wondering what you can put on that you won't sweat through in 90 seconds. These shorts + giant T-shirt = summer uniform. A crescent bag that perfectly straddles the line between formal and casual. I can easily see you wearing this cutie every darn day! A cross-strap bikini totally worth the unusual tan lines you might get from wearing it. Picturing you and this swimsuit taking long romantic walks on the beach. :')

Grove City corn maze transformed into marriage proposal for farmer's now-fiancée

A corn maze at a Grove City farm was revealed recently to be a giant proposal message for a farmer's now-fiancée. Air travelers that fly over Circle S Farms will see "Will you marry me, Caroline?" written out in a cornfield, a message from farmer Timothy Sullivan for Caroline Liggett. Sullivan and other workers began planting 13 acres of corn using a computerized tractor on June 3. By mid- to late-June, his proposal message was visible from the air. "I've been super nervous about other planes or helicopters flying over and possibly them seeing it or taking a picture. So, I felt like every time I opened up my Facebook, I cringed a little bit hoping that the image wouldn't be there and somebody hadn't ruined the surprise," he said. Sullivan convinced Liggett to fly over the cornfield with him, under the ruse that he was interested in learning to fly. When they first passed the field, she didn't see the message. So, Sullivan asked the pilot to circle around one more time, the engagement ring hiding in his pocket. Then, she saw the message. "I was just like so amazed that somebody put that much effort in planning into a proposal like that and you know, I expected he would do something quite elaborate and intentional, but nothing to that extreme by any means," Liggett said. Sullivan and Liggett actually work at competing agricultural companies; he's with Corteva Agriscience and she's with WinField United. "It was only fitting that our proposal would happen with the cornfield," Liggett said. She accepted the proposal, and the wedding is planned for early summer 2026. Beyond The Gates Recap: Hayley Loses Her Baby

Beyond The Gates Recap: Hayley Loses Her Baby originally appeared on Daytime Confidential. On today's Beyond The Gates recap: Ashley's Place: Naomi urges Ashley to tell her what she knows about her dad and Hayley's baby. Ashley tries to put Naomi off who reminds her friend she is a bad liar. Ashley says she can't reveal folks' medical information, even to a friend. Ashley offers to pay her a dollar so they can have lawyer/client confidentiality. Naomi explains the legal grey area she'd be getting into and doesn't want to cost Ashley her job. They decide to try to discuss a hypothetical situation without names. They take a seat, and Ashley tells her a story about a pregnant woman who refused an ultrasound… They go back and forth until Naomi says she actually saw a sonogram picture of the baby, which contradicts Ashley's story of no ultrasound happening. Naomi can't imagine why anyone would fake a sonogram. Ashley says Dani has a theory and says she brought Hayley into the doctor's office the last time and is convinced she is faking the pregnancy. Naomi doesn't buy it as Hayley already has the ring but Ashley isn't quite as certain. They shift the conversation to Ashley, Derek and Andre Richardson. Ashley knows there are bigger fish for Naomi to fry right now and says they can continue the conversation later. With that, Naomi exits. Uptown: Dani is seated when Hayley stumbles out from the back screaming with blood on her. Dani goes to Hayley, but she screams not to touch her. Dani backs away but tries her best to help but Hayley says, 'don't do me any favors, bitch.' She would rather go to the hospital with a stranger than Dani. She points at a stranger, Sammy, who agrees to take her to the hospital. Dani calls Bill and fills him in on the situation with Hayley. They hang up and Sammy walks back in. Dani asks what happened and he says he got her to the hospital but returned to get her phone and purse. He tries to leave with those items when Dani stops him saying he looks familiar. Sammy simply says he hopes Hayley doesn't lose her baby and exits. Orphey Gene's: Vanessa sits thinking about her last encounter with Joey. Just then, Doug shows up and Vanessa tells him to back off Joey. Doug takes a seat and is not surprised his wife only summoned him to discuss Joey. She recognizes he's been drinking, and he says he has nothing else to do since he quit his job. Doug goes off on Ted, but Vanessa redirects him to how dangerous Joey is. Doug gets all kinds of loud, and Vanessa tells him to quiet down. She talks about what Joey is capable of and thinks back to his story about disposing of a man. Doug refuses to be intimidated and thinks he has Joey exactly where he wants him. Vanessa stops her husband dead by saying he put a bug in Doug's car. They calm down and say they care for each other, and Doug says he worries about his wife's association with Joey. He says if something happens with the money Joey will protect himself. Vanessa gets it but is in way too deep. Doug promises not to try and expose Joey. He cares about their marriage and wouldn't want the mother of their children, Donnell and Deanna, to go to prison. Doug says he appreciates his wife and Vanessa thanks him for backing down. Joey's Gambling Pit: Elon arrives to see Joey to talk about the murder in the park. Joey pretends he doesn't know of what he speaks. Elon recalls having a conversation in Bill's office about Kenneth but nothing about him being killed. He says he knows Joey is up to his neck in this murder business and it's his job to bring folks to justice. Elon says the case is closed and wants Joey to be thankful for the favor. Joey says Elon was saving his own behind as so many major players were connected, including himself. As Elon and Joey shake hands, Jacob walks in the room. Joey exits to leave father and son to discuss. Jacob asks his father why the park murder was closed without an arrest. Elon reminds his son to stay in his place and wonders why he's being questioned. Jacob thinks his dad is involved in a conspiracy. He always thought his dad was the most honest of cops which seems to gut his father. Elon explodes and says his son has no clue how much he has been protected. Elon reminds Jacob how his moral code seems to have family exceptions noting his mother and mother in law avoiding arrest. He can't imagine why his son thinks he can break the rules but no one else can. With that, Elon commands his son to cease all investigating of the park murder and assigns him to desk duty. Bill and Hayley's Digs: Hayley is on the sofa messing with her tablet when Naomi arrives. She immediately asks why her ex-bestie lied about the ultrasound. Endings Joey and Vanessa meet up at the gambling pit. She says she convinced Doug to back off. Doug opens a burner phone at Orphey Gene's and makes a call. Sammy/Randy is in an adjacent booth and Doug can't believe he's showing himself in public. Dani flashes back to the earlier scene with Hayley and Sammy. Just then, she gets a text from Andre who wants to talk. Hayley thinks Ashley snooped in her personal records, but Naomi says she would never do that. Before they can resolve anything, Bill arrives to check on his beloved. Hayley says she's not ok as she lost the baby. . Keep checking back for the latest Beyond The Gates recaps!
