How the Beckham family feud really began

Perth Now3 days ago

A rumoured rift between Victoria Beckham and her eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz reportedly came to a climax at the couple's wedding in 2022.
A source told People that actress Peltz, 30, had felt wronged by her mother-in-law when Posh stole the couple's first dance on their big day.
'Marc Anthony, who is a friend of the Beckhams, offered to perform as a gift at the wedding,' the source explained.

Peltz was reportedly confounded by the act, feeling 'Victoria ruined her wedding, and couldn't understand why'.
The Bates Motel star and Brooklyn, 26, married in Florida's Palm Beach at the Peltz ocean-front family estate — owned by the actress' billionaire businessman father Nelson Peltz.
While the location might have been picturesque, a second source has revealed the reception was far from tranquil following the supposed act.
'It was such a jaw-dropping moment that it left the whole room in absolute shock — you could hear a pin drop,' they told the publication.
Peltz was said to have 'run from the room crying' after seeing Victoria share a slow-dance with her son.
'Nicola felt like Victoria did this on purpose, when she knew it was a pre-planned romantic dance meant for Brooklyn and Nicola. What she couldn't understand was why,' the source added. Brooklyn Beckham married Nicola Peltz in 2022. Credit: Brooklyn Beckham/IG / IG
Other insiders have claimed the rift between the two generations has been ongoing, despite attempts from Brooklyn and Peltz to remain amicable.
The young pair have even shared in family gatherings, including Christmas last year, posing amicably for photos and posting them online.
Celebrating their third wedding anniversary in April, Brooklyn publicly re-affirmed his love for his wife in a sweet Instagram post.
'Happy 3 year anniversary baby x I love you with all my heart x I'm so lucky I get to spend everyday with you and wake up to your beautiful face everyday you are my world x I love you so much Nicola xxxxxxx ❤️,' he wrote to the platform.

Judy Greer reveals what she plans to change ahead of her 50th birthday

Judy Greer "doesn't want to make any changes" in her life just because she is turning 50. The '27 Dresses' star - who has been married to TV executive producer Dean E. Johnsen and is stepmother to his two children - will celebrate her milestone birthday in July and joked that she is "kind of boring" so she is just planning on going on a trip with her family to mark the occasion. She told PEOPLE: "I'm taking a trip with my family. I guess I'm kind of boring. Everything in my life is really nice and really good, and I'm really happy, so I kind of just don't want to make any changes." Throughout the course of her career, Judy has become known for her roles in films such as '13 Going On 30' and 'Jawbreaker' but admitted as she moved towards the end of her forties that while she felt "very lucky" to be working, there was still a "long way to go" in terms of providing actresses her age across the board with "better" things to do. She said: "I'm very lucky to be an actress in my 40s right now because there are great roles for us.' 'There are great directors and writers out there, and so I think that we're just getting served better material than those women were when I was in my 20s. There's a long way to go. Please don't get me wrong, but it's a start and I'll take it!" Judy can now be seen in the Apple+ sports comedy series 'Slick' and stars alongside Owen Wilson, Peter Dager, Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay and Timothy Olyphant. The synopsis reads: "After the collapse of his marriage [to Greer's character Amber-Linn] and getting fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, ex-pro golfer Pryce Cahil hedges his bets, and future, entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi [Dager]."

Kristin Cavallari's children begged her to put them on social media

Kristin Cavallari's children begged her to put them on social media. The 38-year-old reality star is mother to Camden, 12, Jaxon, 11, as well as nine-year-old Saylor with her ex-husband Jay Cutler, and insisted that keeping them off her platforms forever was just "not realistic" even though she would want it to be that way. She told People: "They have been asking me for years to post them. I guess it was maybe a year and a half ago that I finally posted Camden. He's almost 13, Saylor is nine — she'll be 10 in the fall. It's sort of the curse of being the second or the third kid. They just sort of naturally do what the oldest is doing. In my perfect world, would they all be 12 [before] deciding if they were posted? Sure. But also, it's just not realistic." However, the former 'Laguna Beach' star does enjoy being able to share her children with her fans because they have been the "biggest part" of her life since they were born, and she wasn't able to let people in as much as she may have wanted to without showing them. She said: "It is nice for me to be able to show that with people because my kids are the biggest part of my life. They always have been since I became a mom. "And I could only let people in so much without showing my kids, so to be able to now share that world with everybody? People [can] see at the end of the day, I am just a normal mom. That is my life." Kristin also isnsited that she is just like "every other parent" and thinks that is "good" for others to see that sort of thing because she believes that a lot of people have certain misconceptions about her. She said: "I'm going to basketball practice and games like every other parent. I'm at school. I was on a field trip last Friday. I am doing all the normal mom things. "And I think it's probably good for people to see because I think people's idea of me is very different than who I actually am."

Debbie Harry reveals poignant birthday plans following the death of her Blondie bandmate

Debbie Harry wants spent her 80th birthday remembering her Blondie bandmate Clem Burke. The 79-year-old rock star shot to fame as the lead singer of the 'One Way Or Another' hitmakers in the 1970s alongside drummer Clem - who died in April at the age of 70 - and wants to keep things relatively simple as she celebrates the life of her late co-star. She told People: "I hope to be with my friends and to celebrate the life of my drummer, Clem Burke, who recently passed, and celebrate my own life." Clem died following a "a private battle with cancer" and at the time of his death, the band noted that his "influence extended far beyond" that of the band. Debbie hasn't let thoughts of her upcoming birthday consume her but admitted recently that she often still feels as if she is 25. She added: "I don't walk around thinking every minute, oh my God, I'm going be 80 — but that's sort of how I feel. My mother used to say in her head she was 25 and I'm the same." However, Debbie doesn't want her life now to look like it did when she was 25 years old and instead has found a kind of "beauty" in the passage of time. She said: "But thinking about it all the time could be your downfall. And I don't really want the same kind of life I did when I was younger. I've done that! That's the beauty of ageing — you know what it's about. You have it in your heart and soul and your memory bank … or does that sound like an excuse? Should I go out and party every night Meanwhile, Debbie revealed that has kept "everything" from her time in Blondie and is hoping all her clothes and memorabilia from her heyday in an exhibition one day. She said: "I have everything. I have everything, and I hope to put on a little exhibition at some point!"
