'I did not know all the horrible, horrible things that man has done.'
He then shared a goodbye post on July 29, saying he was done with social media.

Did a man die performing TikTok water tank challenge? Truth behind viral video

A video allegedly showing a man dying while performing the dangerous 'TikTok Water Tank Challenge' has gone viral across multiple social media platforms, including X and Reddit. Man performing the dangerous 'TikTok Water Tank Challenge.'(X) The clip shows a man entering headfirst into a large water-filled barrel during what appears to be a TikTok livestream. After a few seconds, he begins to thrash around frantically inside the tank before going completely still. Viewers were quick to assume that he had drowned due to limited movement and lack of oxygen in the confined space. The footage quickly spread, sparking fear, outrage, and a flurry of reactions online. One person wrote, 'Is it really worth doing these foolish things just to try to feel validated and accepted by others? You don't play with life, and this is the perfect example of the misuse of social media.' Another wrote, 'Forgive me but excuse me, the thing is that when someone dies because of these kinds of viral challenges and nonsense they got themselves into, I find it very hard to empathize with them and mourn their death. The truth is, I think if you're capable of doing innocent things for a few simple.' However, not everyone believed the video was authentic. Some users called it staged or outright fake. One user commented, 'They don't say the name, where was it? When? The tank isn't small, was there no one else there? The broadcast continued, in conclusion: fake.' Another added, 'Nah, totally false, first of all, the tank is big enough to allow turning, when he sticks out his hand, he could easily have stuck out his head, the tank is smaller than him, I once saw him jump into the tank and he always put on a show of not being able to get out.' Smil King remains active on TikTok and has posted several similar water tank videos.

Tchaikovsky's ‘Swan Lake' gets an Odissi retelling

Bhubaneswar: A city-based Odissi dance institute, in collaboration with Germany's L`Arte del mondo, organised a teaser production titled 'Indian Swan Lake' here on Wednesday. The production intertwined the timeless beauty of Swan Lake with the Nala and Damayanti story from the epic 'Mahabharata'. "Odisha takes immense pride as its classical dance heritage finds global resonance through Indian Swan Lake, a remarkable confluence of Tchaikovsky's timeless masterpiece and the graceful elegance of Odissi. This cultural collaboration is a testament to Odisha's enduring artistic legacy and its evolving presence on the global stage," chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi said in a social media post. Swan Lake is a ballet composed by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875–76 and is one of the most popular ballets of all time. Blending the story of Swan Lake with the Odia retelling of Nala and Damayanti, the abridged version of Indian Swan Lake portrayed the symbolic grace of the swan, an icon shared in both cultures, through an innovative fusion of western classical ballet and Odissi dance. The performance was jointly directed by European choreographer Deda Christina Colonna and eminent Odissi exponent Dr Aruna Mohanty, while the musical composition featured a harmonious blend of Tchaikovsky's original score with new compositions by Massimiliano Toni, Agnimitra Behera and Dhaneshwar Swain. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Woman sells ring given by ex, then jeweler tells her 'This can't be true' Daily Sport X Undo The work was organised by Werner Ehrhardt, director of L`Arte del mondo, and supported by the Embassy of India in Berlin, Germany, and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi. The original production, held in June 2025, was presented at three prestigious venues in Germany —Aschaffenburg, Leverkusen and Schloss Sanssouci in Potsdam (Berlin). The production was praised for its seamless integration of Indian and European artistic traditions. The event, which drew a large audience of art lovers and cultural figures, was graced by several distinguished guests. Describing the collaboration as a cultural milestone, the speakers lauded the initiative for elevating Odissi to international prominence and fostering artistic exchange between India and Europe. Plans are underway to bring the production to various prestigious stages across India next year.

"Not American Eagle, but they're American": Gracie Hunt flexes $288 jeans with a jab at Sydney Sweeney

Gracie Hunt's subtle fashion dig at Sydney Sweeney (Instagram and American Eagle) Gracie Hunt is once again proving she doesn't need a red carpet to set trends or spark conversations. The Kansas City Chiefs heiress and former Miss Kansas USA turned Instagram into her own runway this week, delivering a bold style statement paired with a sly remark that many believe was aimed squarely at actress Sydney Sweeney . Her fashion-forward post did more than just flaunt $288 denim—it lit up the internet with speculation and subtle shade. Gracie Hunt's Denim shade steals spotlight with a sly dig at Sydney Sweeney In a stunning carousel of sun-kissed images posted Wednesday, Gracie stood confidently in a sleek sleeveless black mock-neck top, high-waisted blue jeans, black Gucci belt, and sky-high platform heels. Accessories included a black handbag, layered gold jewelry, and that signature pageant-worthy poise. But what stole the spotlight wasn't just her outfit—it was the caption beneath. 'Denim days & dreamy nights 💙🌄 I like the view and my jeans (not American Eagle—but they are American) 😉👖🇺🇸,' she wrote. View this post on Instagram A post shared by ColorsTV (@colorstv) Fashion fans didn't take long to connect the dots. The post appeared to be a cheeky response to Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle commercial, which ends with the lines: 'My jeans are blue. Sydney Sweeney has good genes.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Free P2,000 GCash eGift UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo Critics had already panned the campaign's tagline for being cringe-inducing and outdated—and Hunt's quip landed like a well-timed jab. Even Gracie's mom, Tavia Hunt, joined the fun in the comments, writing, 'I love your jeans. And your genes.. 💙' A perfectly layered compliment that fed into the post's playful energy. When fashion becomes a soft battlefield Though Gracie Hunt has never been one to court Hollywood drama, this subtle fashion feud shows she knows how to use her platform with precision. Her blend of glam and grit continues to define her personal brand—whether she's posting from NFL sidelines or sandy Florida beaches, like she did recently with boyfriend Derek Green, son of former Chiefs QB Trent Green. As for Sweeney, she hasn't responded to the apparent dig, staying busy with acting gigs and brand deals. But this moment highlights the new battleground of modern celebrity culture, where fashion campaigns and Instagram captions can blur into clever rivalries—each line parsed by eager fans for deeper meaning. Gracie might not have a script to deliver, but her captions? They're delivering drama in the most stylish way possible.
