Pucker up! Tarte Cosmetics is launching more maracuja... with a cherry on top. Yes, the beauty brand is tapping into the fruity, of-the-moment trend by partnering with popular fruity frozen snack brand Tru Fru for a first-of-its-kind launch. The limited edition Tarte x Tru Fru collab includes a bundle of six Maracuja Juicy Lips in an exclusive Cherry Crush shade and scent. Additionally, specialty branded frozen snacks will be available in the same flavor, with cherries dipped in dark and white chocolate.
Declaring 2025 as 'officially cherry coded,' Maureen Kelly, founder & CEO of Tarte Cosmetics, calls the collab a no-brainer.
'The intersection of food and beauty is just too delicious to ignore,' she says. 'Your lips deserve to look and smell as good as they feel. Juicy, indulgent and good-for-you ingredients—what more could you want?"
Kelly is definitely onto something, as 'cherry' has been hashtagged in 1.1 million TikTok videos, leaving the app flooded with bag charms, makeup looks and fragrances devoted to the 'cherry aesthetic.' And according to the 2025 Pinterest Palette report, 'cherry red' is among the five unique colors shaping the year, with searches for 'cherry vibe' increased by 325%, 'cherry martini' +80% and 'cherry outfit' +150%. The partnership announcement also dropped on the same day Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin announced its Sweet Cherriez Collection launch—a limited-edition beauty selection for lips and cheeks in the cherry shade du jour.

Tarte's limited, soft red-hued bundle includes each best-selling formula: plump, balm, vinyl, shimmer glass, melt mask and lip oil. Those who purchase from the presale link will also receive a phone case holder and custom Cherry Crush baseball hat. Not only is the limited drop only $50 (a $200 value), but to tack onto exclusivity, the partnering brands are offering an experiential component to the purchase. Consumers will receive the same PR box as their favorite influencers, giving fans an opportunity to create their own unique social media moment. The exclusive signup begins April 3. On April 11, Tarte's website will sell the new maracuja selection.
Then, on May 4, fans can purchase 'Tarte cherries' from Tru Fru at Target while supplies last. The specialty lip product won't be available in store, but each Tru Fru bag will include a QR code for a bounceback to Tarte's website to shop for 20% off.
'At Tru Fru, we believe fruit and chocolate are 'better together' by creating those small everyday moments of happiness we all deserve,' says Tru Fru CEO Harvey Millar, of the Tarte x Tru Fru collab. 'One of our best kept secrets is our Frozen Cherry—and with cherries having such a major moment in pop culture, we thought, what could be 'better together' than teaming up with our friends at Tarte Cosmetics to collaborate on something bold, tarte and fun!'

Why Brianna LaPaglia Wants to 'Marry a Gay Man': 'Done with Those Straight Guys'

Brianna LaPaglia is opening up about marriage — and jokes that she may have given up on dating straight men entirely During Wednesday, May 14's episode of the BFFs podcast, LaPaglia, 25, joked that she may want to get into a "lavender marriage" with a gay man The influencer previously dated musician Zach Bryan and has said that she is hesitant to begin dating again since their tumultuous breakup in October 2024Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia says she's done with dating — straight men, at least. During Wednesday, May 14's episode of the BFFs podcast, LaPaglia, 25, and her co-host Josh Richards, 23, got into a conversation about "lavender marriage" — a century-old concept in which a man and a woman, usually at least one of whom is gay or lesbian, marry each other for secrecy, safety and other purposes — and LaPaglia joked that she might be interested in the concept. "Maybe a lavender marriage is, like, last resort," LaPaglia theorized in the episode, after she and Richards discussed why the concept existed. "Maybe my gay best friend, it's like if we don't find someone, then we get married." "Like a Ted Mosby and Robin Scherbatsky situation where it's like if by 40 we're not married, we marry each other," Richards added, referring to the characters from How I Met Your Mother. "I have a lot of those," LaPaglia replied. "But it's with straight men. I would rather it be with a gay man." Although LaPaglia said that the idea of people hiding their sexualities from their families and communities is sad, she joked: "If anyone needs a lavender marriage and you're cool and fun, I'm in." "Because I'm done with those straight guys," the comedian said. "Hate them. They stink. I really would like to marry a gay man. " "Imagine two divas dating and married, and that's so fun," the comedian continued. "And you don't have to worry about, like, 'Oh my gosh, do I look good for them?' Doesn't matter. You're just, like, perfect." The PlanBri Uncut podcaster's comments come after speculation surrounding her relationship status, following posts shared to TikTok about her "fake boyfriend" and "real boyfriend." In a video posted by Tarte Cosmetics during their TrippinWithTarte influencer event in January, LaPaglia joked that she "brought her fake boyfriend" with her and that she was looking forward to "maybe making him my real boyfriend" on the trip. The internet personality previously addressed the rumors of a new romance and clarified her relationship status in another TikTok posted Jan. 1, confirming at the time: "I don't have a boyfriend." "Everyone thinks I have a boyfriend, probably from my Instagram Stories this weekend, but I don't have a boyfriend. Maybe one day, but not this day or not tomorrow," she said at the time. Rumors about LaPaglia's relationship status also follow her tumultuous public breakup from musician Zach Bryan in October 2024. She opened up about being blindsided when the 28-year-old country singer announced the end of their relationship on then shared details about their relationship and the breakup on BFFs in November last year, when she accused her ex-boyfriend of emotional abuse while they were together. The influencer, who's previously identified as bisexual and said on a BFFs episode that she might be "fully a lesbian," also spoke in a recent interview with Elite Daily, about her new perspective on dating following the contentious split. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. "I feel so emotionally unavailable, which is a little upsetting,' she told Elite Daily. "There have been some really great guys that I think would be amazing for me, but I'm emotionally f----- up right now, where I can't even fathom the idea of letting someone in." "I just want a normal person that can laugh with me, and someone that understands my life, but isn't in the same realm," she said of potentially starting a romance with someone out of the spotlight, before sharing that dating women wasn't out of the realm of possibility. "There were actually some kind of famous women reaching out to me, and I was like, 'What? I didn't even know you were gay,' " she told the outlet. "I feel like I'm late to the game, and it's really intimidating." Read the original article on People

Makeup Lovers Rejoice: Right Now You Can Design Your Own Custom Tarte Makeup Kit For Just $77

We hope you love our recommendations! Some may have been sent as samples, but all were independently selected by our editors. Just FYI, BuzzFeed and its publishing partners may collect a share of sales and/or other compensation from the links on this page. Shopping · We're talking SEVEN full-sized makeup products for a third of their normal price. If you're anything like me, you absolutely LOVE Tarte cosmetics... but balk a little at your very full cart. Well, lucky for us, Tarte's Custom Kit Sale is back again with SEVEN full-sized makeup products for...*drumroll please*... only $77! 😱 (And yes, the coveted Shape Tape Concealer is on the list of discounted items). Tarte And in case you were wondering, that's a value of up to $234 with free shipping to boot! I know, it sounds way too good to be true — but I assure you it's the real deal. In fact, I'm gonna take you through the process of building your own kit (and share what products I'm picking because why not?!). 1. First and foremost, you'll ~pucker up~ and pick out a lip product, aka your new signature lippie. 💋 Tarte You'll want to start by selecting the type of lip product you want: lip balm gloss (great for a more everyday look), plumping lip oil (extra glossy hydration), lip plump/lip plump gloss, lift liner, or their ultra-shiny lip vinyl gloss — and then choose your preferred shade and whether you want a sparkly or solid color. Read their very detailed breakdown of the different maracuja juicy lip products here. I'm totes choosing this sparkly peach lip plump so I can live out my dream of being a mermaid princess. The light pink shade is so perfect for spring and summertime, and I just love how it ✨shimmers ✨ in the light. Not to mention, it feels like a creamy lip balm while ~doing the work~ to give me a thick, luscious pout. 2. Up next, choose something to accentuate your cheeks, be it blush, bronzer, highlighter, or contour will define your cheekbones like a movie star, y'know? Tarte And in terms of blush, there's multiple kinds: Amazonian clay blush, liquid blush, satin plumping blush, or silk stick blush. I've been a long-time fan of their 12-hour Amazonian clay blush, which adds a subtle rosy pop to my cheeks all day long. I'm going to try something different with the Maneater Silk Stick Blush. It'll still give me the natural, everyday kind of look I tend to go for, only it seems easier and more luxurious to apply than clay blush. Also, I'm sure my dry skin is gonna love the antioxidant-packed triple oil blend. Tarte Oh, and BTW, I'm going for the neutral Buff shade (my complexion is pretty similar to the model they're showing it on, and I also have blue eyes and brown hair). I want that ~sun-kissed~ look even on days I don't get outside much. 3. Now, on to the eyes, aka the ~windows to your soul~. Pick carefully if you want to enchant your soulmate. 😉 Tarte The choices are plentiful in this stage with an eye highlight pen (for when you need to convince folks you got enough sleep last night), a fine brow pencil, a brow pencil and gel, dual-ended eyeliner stick, a highlighting eye and cheek palette, and of course, a few different eye shadow palettes. In fact, there's a custom kit exclusive Amazonian clay travel palette! As much as I love Tarte's chocolate-y smelling palettes, I'm going with their best-selling Double Take eyeliner. I've always been a fan of easy-to-apply pen eyeliners, and this lets me choose from liquid or gel formulas — or use both for extra drama! Best of all, it's waterproof and won't smudge (even as I inevitably cry listening to an emotional story on The Moth Podcast). Tarte 4. Can you believe we're practically halfway through? Well, we are, and things are about to get ~complex-ion~. You've got some tough decisions in this section with various options for foundation, concealer, tinted moisturizer, and pressed face powder — and you can only pick one. 😩 Tarte The Shape Tape creamy concealer is quite popular, offering full matte-finish coverage with built-in eye cream for 24-hour moisturizing. Or, you can give your skin an extra boost of love with the skincare-infused creaseless creamy concealer, which features caffeine, niacinamide, cloudberry, and more. The Face Tape foundation is a great choice if you're seeking to cover up blemishes and even out your skintone without weighing it down. But if those aren't calling to you, there are lots more options to choose from. With the days getting longer and sunnier, the BB Blur Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30 is pretty much a no-brainer for someone like me (aka someone who loves being outside but also burns after .002 seconds in the sun). Nothing I love more than makeup that's also skincare. 😊 Tarte Even though it packs in the hydration and sun protection, it offers a matte finish, unlike most sunscreens (and even some moisturizers). According to one reviewer, it "goes on like silk" and another says it "leaves [their] skin feeling soft", which is enough to convince me. 5. Moving on to ~la pièce de résistance~ of any make-up look: mascara. Tarte My pick is the Tartelette XL tubing mascara because I want to make my life as easy as possible. This special peptide-rich formula wraps around lashes for instant definition and lengthening lift, but then rolls off with just water! 🤯 Tarte It's flake-proof, smudge-proof, and sweat-proof with an impressive 24-hour wear time. It's available in classic black or a softer brown. BTW, it won an Allure Best of Beauty Award in 2024. 6. Of course, your makeup is practically useless if you don't have the tools to prep, set, and apply it, which is why you'll choose something along those lines in step six. Tarte For tools, the concealer paw brush is designed for foolproof (and creaseproof) concealer application while the revolutionary buffer brush creates an airbrushed effect with your regular foundation. Your other options include a creaseless setting and brightening powder or a vegan setting spray. I don't want my look going anywhere, so I'm adding the vegan setting spray to my kit. A few spritzes to lock everything in place for a full 16 hours? Take my money!! Tarte This micro-fine, weightless spray also works double time to give your skin a smoother appearance *and* soothe with aloe and cucumber. 7. And last but not least, pick out a makeup bag to store all your new Tarte cosmetics and tools. They're designed exclusively for the Custom Kits and kind of remind me of a little puffy coat (how cute!). Tarte The makeup bag comes in slate grey, cream, or white. I'm going for the slate grey color, as it's only a matter of time before I get it dirty, and it'll definitely be less noticeable than on a white or cream. All three colors are lovely, so I don't feel like I'm compromising by going for the practical choice. Tarte There ya have it, folks! My custom Tarte kit is done — now it's your turn. Have fun and remember that you can't really go wrong with each product costing only $11! Tarte A round of applause for your fabulous makeup decisions: Paramount
