THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Post-Credits Scene Details Leak as Recent Test Screening — GeekTyrant
Marvel's The Fantastic Four: First Steps held a surprise test screening in Los Angeles recently and now, one of its post-credits scenes has reportedly leaked online.
It's interesting that Marvel actually held an early test screening like this. Some fans believe Marvel might be worried about how this film will land—especially after Thunderbolts* didn't exactly set the box office on fire, despite receiving some of the best reviews. Others believe it's Kevin Feige trying to recalibrate the MCU and get a read on what fans actually want.
But regardless of the studio's motive, one thing's certain, if you hold a test screening on a big film like this, leaks were bound to happen. What we didn't expect was this kind of leak, especially so far ahead of the film's July 25 release.
According to industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH, the post-credits scene in question involves Sue Storm reading to her and Reed's son, Franklin. She briefly leaves the room, and when she returns, Doctor Doom is sitting beside Franklin, mask in hand.
It's explained that his face is never shown but both the costume and mask are described as 'very comic accurate.'
Placing Doom in direct proximity to Franklin? That could mean big things. In the comics, Franklin Richards isn't just any kid, he's a reality-warping powerhouse. So if Doom's already targeting him, it adds serious weight to the theory that the Fantastic Four didn't just survive the collapse of their universe, they were pushed into action because of Franklin.
Doom kicking off the events that lead Marvel's First Family to Earth-616 would be a smart way to tie this origin story directly into the bigger picture, namely Avengers: Doomsday .
The scooper also shared a tidbit about Chris Evans, who fans have speculated might appear in the movie as either Johnny Storm or a variant Steve Rogers:
'I know for a fact he filmed something so it was either cut or will be in the final version of the film."
So it sounds like the door isn't entirely closed on a surprise Evans cameo, just maybe not in this version of the cut. And to be clear, this is only one of the post-credits scenes. Marvel has a history of making eleventh-hour changes, so even if this moment was in the screening, it might not survive the final edit.
Stay tuned, and maybe keep your expectations flexible. We're in the multiverse here.

Twins shortstop Carlos Correa, manager Rocco Baldelli ejected in tense walk-off loss vs. Mariners
Things got fiery between the Minnesota Twins and Seattle Mariners on Saturday. After a controversial strike turned into a heated argument with the umpire, Twins shortstop Carlos Correa and manager Rocco Baldelli were both ejected in the seventh inning. The Mariners went on to win the game 5-4 in extra innings, with second baseman Cole Young getting the winning 11th-inning RBI in his major league debut. Advertisement Following a borderline pitch on third baseman Brooks Lee was called a strike, Correa stepped out of the on-deck circle, seemingly expressing his opinion to Austin Jones, the home plate umpire. Jones promptly called for Correa to be ejected, infuriating the shortstop, who had to be held back from Jones by his teammates. Meanwhile, Baldelli, similarly furious, came over to argue his case. Jones quickly ejected him as well. Twins first baseman Ty France, a former Mariner getting a homecoming this weekend, stepped in for Correa in the batting order. Lee moved to take over Correa's position at shortstop. Advertisement Minnesota took an early 3-0 lead in the second inning. But in the third inning, Cal Raleigh got the Mariners on the board with a two-run homer — his 22nd home run of the year, tying him with Shohei Ohtani at the top of the league. Seattle shortstop J.P Crawford then picked up another two-run bomb to give the Mariners the lead, celebrating the hit with a nasty bat flip — and taking out a chunk of the scoreboard in the process. But the Twins didn't let Seattle end things there, with Trevor Larnach getting an RBI single in the top of the ninth to tie things up at 4-4. After another scoreless inning, the Mariners finally finished the game in the 11th. Young hit a bouncing shot in the infield that was easily fielded by France, but his throw didn't reach home plate in time. Pinch runner Miles Mastrobuoni slid in for the winning run, and Seattle took the 5-4 victory. The Twins and Mariners will complete the three-game series on Sunday.

Lady Gaga Closes Out Netflix's Tudum With Mesmerizing On-Theme ‘Wednesday' Performance Featuring Viral Dance
Lady Gaga, the one and only 'monster queen,' rose out of her coffin to perform a rousing medley of tunes that were very much on-theme with Wednesday, closing out Netflix's Tudum with a nod to her newly confirmed cameo role in the highly anticipated second season of the Jenna Ortega YA drama. The Emmy, Grammy and Oscar winner took the stage at Los Angeles' Kia Forum following the premiere of the first six minutes of Wednesday Season 2, which also showcased new cast member Haley Joel Osment, who plays a serial killer infinitely more likely to be a victim than the eponymous macabre teen he has kidnapped. More from Deadline Lady Gaga's Cameo In 'Wednesday' Confirmed As Netflix Premieres Season 2 Footage 'Stranger Things': Netflix Reveals Premiere Date For Season 5, Split Into Three Volumes 'Happy Gilmore 2' Gets Trailer At Netflix Tudum Beginning her performance at the streamer's annual event, Gaga stepped out from a vertical coffin amid a sea of background dancers dressed in the vein of Gomez Addams (Luis Guzmán), singing track 'Zombieboy' off of her recently released Mayhem, critically acclaimed and largely viewed as a return to form of sorts for the pop/dance icon. After shrugging off her coat and commandeering the stage in a black bodysuit, the consummate artist launched into the viral dance — limbs delightfully flailing — that first launched her involvement with the show, which stemmed from a social media video that supplanted The Cramps' 'Goo Goo Muck' with Gaga's 'Bloody Mary' in a scene featuring Ortega's character's uninhibited dancing (choreographed by the actress herself) during a function at her boarding school. As the performance shifted its focus to a gang of Wednesdays, Ortega crossed the stage in character to sit at a full dining table filled with scrumptious spider webs and decapitated heads à la carte, allowing Gaga a costume change into an avant garde red velvet dress. She then capped off her medley with a rendition of crowd-pleaser 'Abracadabra,' the second single off of Mayhem. Ending her eight-minute performance to the jaunty Addams family theme, Gaga found her way back to the coffin, blowing a kiss to the audience as it closed to display the words: 'Here lies the monster queen.' Part 1 of the hit series' second season will debut Aug. 6, with Part 2 following Sept. 3.
