Tom Brady may have stepped off the NFL field, but his personal life continues to make headlines. In a recent candid conversation, the former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback opened up about the emotional toll of his divorce from Gisele Bündchen and the unintended consequences of a joke made at her expense.
Tom Brady reflects on life lessons from divorce and family
Tom Brady, who now serves as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, has gradually embraced a more reflective tone when discussing his split with Gisele Bündchen. 'Not everyone is perfect,' he said during a recent interview, emphasizing that many people aren't equipped early in life to manage the complexities of family. 'It's all about having a clear purpose in life and improving little by little,' he added.
That introspective approach comes in the wake of years of scrutiny over his marriage and career choices—especially his decision to return to football in 2020 after briefly retiring.
That move, which saw him join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, reignited questions about his priorities. 'She didn't feel like I was doing my part for the family. She thought I'd play the whole season, and she'd take care of the house,' Brady admitted, acknowledging the imbalance that may have led to growing tension at home.

One moment that clearly still weighs on Brady is his participation in The Roast of Tom Brady on Netflix.

While the quarterback appeared to take the jokes in stride during the show, including a jab from comedian Nikki Glaser—'You have seven rings... well, eight now that Gisele gave hers back'—Brady has since revealed the aftermath wasn't so humorous for his family.
'It was hard for my kids, for sure... You don't know what to expect, and I love to laugh at myself... but for my kids, it was really hard,' Brady said in a May appearance on the Impaulsive podcast.
Brady has long admitted that his devotion to football shaped every decision in his adult life. 'I always felt that way when I stepped onto the field. So many people dedicated their time and energy to me and our team, and I never wanted to let them down,' he said. That mindset, however, may have come at a personal cost—a truth Brady now seems ready to accept as he enters a new chapter post-retirement.

Aditi Rao Hydari Says She's Still ‘Waiting' For Work After Heeramandi Success

Last Updated: Aditi Rao Hydari said that she received immense love and appreciation for her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi, but that hasn't translated into new opportunities. Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari was widely praised for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama series Heeramandi, which also starred Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha and others. Despite the success of the show, Aditi revealed that she is still waiting to sign a new film or show. In a recent chat with Lilly Singh, she highlighted the persistent challenges women face in the entertainment industry. She said that while she received immense love and appreciation for her role, the acclaim has not translated into new work opportunities. Aditi Rao Hydari talked about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi and its success, in a chat with Lilly Singh. Lilly shared her observation that when stories centred on women succeed, they are often treated as exceptions rather than the norm. Aditi completely agreed with that, and said, 'It is, yes. You are absolutely correct." She further went on to point out that despite the show's success, she is yet to sign a new film or project. 'For example, after Heeramandi, it was wonderful. I got so much love, so much appreciation. So much everything. Have I signed my next show/film? No. I haven't. I'm still waiting." She added, 'I got a lot from it. But yeah, I am still waiting." When Lilly asked Aditi if she believes it will be easier to create shows like Heeramandi again with that kind of budget, now that it's a success, Aditi replied honestly: 'No, I don't think so. I hope so. I hope there will be a change." She said that she hopes the power of storytelling takes center stage, regardless of the gender focus. She said that women are equal participants in life, and thus deserve equal space in stories and on screen. 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar', created and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, features an ensemble cast including Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal, and Taha Shah Badussha. It premiered on Netflix on 1st May, 2024. Meanwhile, Aditi Rao Hydari will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali's series 'O Saathi Re' alongside Avinash Tiwary. She also has 'Parivarik ManuRanjan', a family entertainer, in the pipeline. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi. First Published: June 17, 2025, 09:50 IST

LSU vs UCLA: College World Series game postponed to Tuesday due to bad weather in Omaha

The College World Series elimination game between LSU and UCLA has been postponed to Tuesday due to inclement weather in Omaha. Originally scheduled for Monday night, the highly anticipated matchup was delayed after heavy rain and the threat of thunderstorms made playing conditions unsafe. The winner of the LSU-UCLA clash will face Arkansas in another elimination game later Tuesday. Both teams had been preparing intensively for the showdown, which now becomes part of a packed day of CWS action. The NCAA announced that the LSU-UCLA game will resume at 11am ET on Tuesday, June 17. The delay is not expected to affect the schedule of the remaining College World Series games, with Oregon State set to face Louisville at 2pm ET and Arkansas taking on the loser of the LSU-UCLA matchup at 7 pm ET. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like New Container Houses Indonesia (Prices May Surprise You) Container House | Search Ads Search Now Undo — NCAABaseball (@NCAABaseball) LSU held a 5-3 lead after three innings when rain swept over Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska, forcing a pause in the game.
